Ling Feng glanced back at her, sensing she seemed a bit groggy, and replied with a smile: "Guessing, it’s probably around six o’clock in the afternoon?"

She stuck her tongue out playfully: "I just woke up thinking I was at home, and that mom had made mouth-watering braised pork, ready for dinner!"

Amused by her words, Ling Feng chuckled: "If you want to eat it, I can make it for you!"

"Of course, I have all the tools here!" Ling Feng replied with a grin.

"Let’s just leave it be, it would be too troublesome."

Li Xiaonian sighed softly, then said: "We can consider it another time."

"Anyway, you must be hungry, right? Let me whip up something else for you. I’m quite talented at fixing up food!" Ling Feng laughed.

"Okay!"

Li Xiaonian nodded.

Soon, Ling Feng lit a campfire and began preparing dinner.

Li Xiaonian wanted to help but was stopped by him, who hustled around alone for half an hour until everything was ready, and the signature roast meat was placed on the fire.

Once the aroma filled the air, Li Xiaonian sniffed: "Smells so good, there’s even a hint of cumin."

"Of course, I’ve always kept all the ingredients handy." Ling Feng grinned.

"Take a taste later, this is authentic home flavor!" Ling Feng laughed.

Li Xiaonian nodded, flashing a mischievous smile: "Alright, I’m going to eat until I’m stuffed today!"
