Chapter 2626 - 2625: The Plan

Ling Feng waved his hand impatiently: "Enough with the nonsense. Your Demon King is back, and I’ll be the first to wipe him out!"

Demon Clan Leader: "..."

Not long after, a giant structure on the platform creaked and was instantly smashed open.

The gigantic Ling Yun Starship emerged and arrived at the Demon Star.

Seeing his own ship had arrived, Ling Feng chuckled and looked at the Demon Clan Leader: "Time for you to get to work!"

"Alright."

To save his own life, the leader cooperated quickly, nodding and leaving the platform on his mount.

As the Ling Yun Starship arrived, other ships followed suit, and soon Ling Yao and others were by Ling Feng’s side.

After learning about the recent events, the women were a bit stunned. Then Ling Yao asked, "Since the Demon King isn’t here, is there really a need to conquer this place? The Demon Clan creatures are not human, and we have no need for an alliance, right?"

"I’m not really interested in this place, but since this is the Demon King’s lair, and who knows when he’ll return, I want him to come back and find this place has changed hands and now belongs to me, just to infuriate him! That’s the kind of fun I’m after!" Ling Feng said.

His words left the women speechless.

But soon, Ling Yao shook her head and said, "I’m not one to comment on your decisions, but we still don’t really know much about this Demon Star, right? We should at least check out the environment here?"

"Right!"

Ling Feng nodded and immediately ordered the Ling Yun Starship to deploy ships to start scanning the environment of this place.

This giant platform temporarily became Ling Feng’s command center.

Although it was pitch black all around, the platform was lit up, and no one knew where the light came from.

The group waited for a while, and soon received a hologram from the Ling Yun Starship.

The entire structure of Demon Star was laid out clearly.

It was a planet about the size of Earth. The reason for the darkness was because there were no stars surrounding it.

All Demon Clan creatures lived in this darkness.

Later, the Ling Yun Starship sent information on most of the species living on Demon Star.

These were distinguished based on their appearance; for their true races and abilities, asking the Demon Clan Leader was necessary.

However, upon learning there were no stars illuminating this place, Ling Feng lost interest.

Being accustomed to living under the sun, a place with no light was just too dull for him.

Once they knew enough, Ling Feng looked around at everyone, feeling quite speechless: "This place is really a waste!"

"If you ask me, Uncle, you should just leave this place alone, and keep some ships here. As soon as there’s news of the Demon King, you should quickly return!" Li Fei’er suggested.

"The Demon King has gone looking for stronger Demon Clan heritage. If successful, the Demon King will only become more formidable in the future; I don’t think we can just wait!" Ling Feng said.

"But you also mentioned that only those with Demon blood can enter that space, right?" Li Fei’er said.

Ling Feng nodded: "I’ll find a way about that!"

Since the Demon Clan had already surrendered, there was no need for everyone to stay. Not liking the environment here, they soon used the Teleportation Array to leave.

In the end, only Ling Feng and Ling Yao stayed behind.

The Demon Clan Leader soon returned and reported to Ling Feng: "All Demon Clans have been informed of your arrival."

"What? Didn’t anyone object and hope I leave Demon Star?" Ling Feng asked.

"Some did object, but when I told them that the strongest warrior on Demon Star was killed by you with one strike, they all behaved." The Demon Clan Leader said.

Ling Feng nodded and then asked: "Let me ask you, that creature which teleported first to our planet, what exactly is it?"

"That creature isn’t part of our Demon Clan; the Demon King found it elsewhere, realizing it could keep growing with sunlight, and decided to bring it to Earth." The Demon Clan Leader said.

"Oh, I see!"

Ling Feng nodded and then asked: "How many species are there here, and what abilities does each have? Report it to me thoroughly!"

The leader had submitted to Ling Feng and naturally couldn’t resist his orders, so he nodded and began to report.

Ling Feng quickly learned that there were nine branches within the Demon Clan, each with different talents. The one common trait was that all could survive in darkness; some species had even evolved away from needing vision.

Afterward, Ling Feng asked about resources on Demon Star and if there were any desirable items.

The outcome was unexpected; the Demon Clan Leader informed him that this place produced Magic Crystal Stones!

Upon hearing this, Ling Feng’s eyes lit up.

His Magic Crystal Warriors relied on Magic Crystal Stones as their energy supply.

This Demon Star had abundant deposits of Magic Crystal Stones; needless to say, this was a surprising gain.

Thus, without hesitation, Ling Feng ordered the Demon Clan Leader to convey his commands: all Demon Clans on this planet must immediately start mining and collecting Magic Crystal Stones!

The Demon Clan Leader truly complied, promptly arranging it.

Ling Feng and Ling Yao sat on the platform for a while. Ling Feng looked at her: "I might need to stay here for a while longer, to find a way into that Xuanxu Realm."

"You don’t need me to accompany you here?" Ling Yao asked.

"No need. The environment is unique; I know you don’t like it, and there’s no need for you to stick by me, so you should return." Ling Feng said.

Ling Yao looked at him: "Alright, then I’ll head back!"

"Mm!"

Ling Feng nodded and said, "If anything comes up, I’ll come back for everyone."

"Hopefully not too long."

Ling Yao nodded, said that she hoped it wouldn’t take too long, and rose to go to the teleportation platform.

After she left, Ling Feng looked around, summoned Little Jin, and ordered it to take off, breaking through Demon Star’s atmosphere.

Once outside, he realized that it wasn’t that there was no star around, but a special black fog in Demon Star’s atmosphere was blocking the light.

The space outside was quite bright.

Under the distant star’s light, Demon Star looked like a black gaseous sphere, slowly rotating.

Seeing this, Ling Feng shook his head and then asked: "Little Jin, is there any way to clear that black gas?"

"Returning to Master, clearing that gas would likely kill most of the Demon Clans; they have adapted to the current environment!" Little Jin said.

Ling Feng sighed: "Alright, I was just asking."
