So no, he didn’t want her anywhere near his Divine Court. If there was a clearer way to say so, he would do it.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t willing to take no for an answer. When she heard his rejection, she said, "Oh, come on. Haven’t we worked well together in the past? I believe this is an opportunity for us to work together."

"Stop disturbing me about this. You and I know that you are not being serious with your request," Loki said as he snorted. "If you really wanted to join, you wouldn’t be asking me. You would have done so yourself."

"It doesn’t take much effort to walk over to the Divine Mountain and try to join it. No one is stopping you, so have you not done so?"

"You haven’t done it because you’re afraid. The Divine Mountain is too conspicuous, so you’re afraid that you will be spotted by your enemies and attacked. Isn’t that right?" he asked with a smile.

In reply, she snorted and said, "This game isn’t fun anymore."

"And you’re wrong, by the way. I haven’t joined because I heard that we can’t be a member of two Divine Courts at the same time. Since the Blessed Heaven World is about to advance, I decided to hold off on pledging my allegiance to you."

Upon hearing this, Loki chuckled as he said, "Yeah, right. Last I heard, the Will of the Blessed Heaven World was determined to wait to fill up its nine positions. How did it suddenly become the Blessed Heaven World ascending soon?"

"Don’t get me wrong," he said with a sneer. "I don’t think you’re lying. I just think what you said is a bogus excuse."

Heavenly Eye didn’t refute him. She only laughed as if he had said something funny.

He didn’t know what she was laughing about, so he shook his head and ignored her. His attention returned to the unicorn in the Blessed Heaven.

Right now, the unicorn had entered the Northern Domain. This was the Domain of Martial Will. It was a region of golden desert sands. Muscular giants could be seen braving the harsh heat and sandstorms with their bodies.

There were also giant creatures of various kinds roaming the desert. Everyone in the Domain had hardy constitutions needed to survive such a harsh environment.

Most of the inhabitants of the Northern Domain were giant barbarians who lived in tribes and wore animal skins. So the appearance of a unicorn in this area was difficult to hide.

But the unicorn wasn’t trying to hide. In fact, it walked over openly to introduce itself to the first tribe it encountered.

Just as Loki was about to see what the unicorn was up to, he heard someone say, "He is going to find out anyway, and there is no harm in telling him, so there is no need to hide it."

The voice had come from someone beside him in the divine constellation. Even without turning to look at who was speaking, he knew that it was Tepid Scholar who spoke.

"What is going on?" he asked in confusion.

The Will of the world was the one to reply, saying, "I have decided to advance in the upcoming days."

"What? Why?" Loki asked with growing confusion. "Did you say you wanted nine rank 9 World Kings?"

This time, it was Heavenly Eye who replied. She chuckled and said, "The Will of the world changed its mind after it found out that you had your Divine Spark and Divine Mountain and didn’t really care if it succeeded in ascending or not. It decided to stop listening to your lies encouraging it to take its time."

"That’s not entirely true," Sword Maestro interjected. "We also got critical information that revealed that we didn’t have more than one year to ascend."

"It will take hundreds of years, if not thousands, for a world king to advance from rank 6 to rank 9. And we haven’t even nurtured rank 5 world guardians for the nine beast pathways. We simply can’t wait that long."

"There is also the fact that there can only be 999 Divine Mountains in the upper realm. So if we don’t hurry, we will never be able to ascend. In light of that deadline, the Will of the Realm decided that it was better to ascend as soon as possible."

"Is that so? What is the critical information that you received?" he asked.

Before Sword Maestro could reply, Heavenly Eye interrupted and said with fake sincerity, "I’m sorry, but we can’t tell you."

’I see. So Heavenly Eye was telling the truth earlier. The Blessed Heaven World really will be ascending soon," Loki thought to himself.

Then he said calmly. "I wish you all good luck."

He didn’t try to convince them because he knew that it wouldn’t work. The fact that he was just hearing about this news meant that everyone else had discussed it without him. So he was no longer deemed a member of Blessed Heaven World.

Besides, he didn’t know what they had said about him to the Will of the world. If he spoke up rashly, he might be confirming whatever slander that Heavenly Eye had said about him.

Since things were out of his hands, he let it go and refocused on moving forward. So he said, "What about our plans to share the super world and invade Wandering Thief’s super world? Are they still intact, or have they suddenly changed in the past few days?"

"Of course, they are still intact," Heavenly Eye said as if she was stating the obvious. "We swore an oath after all. Promises made with oaths can’t be broken."

Then she smiled as she said, "Like that promise you made about how you would not do anything to sabotage the ascension of the Blessed Heaven World."

Clearly, she was gloating. But he refused to let her get a rise out of him, so he ignored that subtle reminder about how he was now helpless to stop them.
