THE GOD EATER
Chapter 1126: Setting Up Rules.
With the knowledge of rules on his side to encourage him, he set about to work. When he was writing the rules, he didn’t point them towards any specific pathway. His main priority was to create something impeccable.
He was like a carver converting a piece of rock into a statue. Instead of trying to make the statue look like someone in particular, he was working on a beautiful faceless statue.
While carving the statue, he gave it two legs, not three, to ensure symmetry and balance. He also ensured that the center of gravity of the statue was positioned well for the statue to keep itself balanced.
He prioritized the balance so that the statue would at least be able to remain standing on its own in the absence of external forces pushing it over. After all, if it couldn’t stand on its own, it had no business trying to make an impression on the world.
The statue he was carving this time was the Power Identification Ability. The rules he made for it were made with the goal of seeing everything in the world.
Because of his grand ambition, he added rules for the perception of every electromagnetic wave, not just light waves. This included radio waves, microwaves, infrared waves, ultraviolet waves, X-rays, and gamma rays.
He also added rules for the perception of all types of matter, from the atoms of elements to subatomic matter like protons, and down to fundamental particles like neutrinos and electrons.
Next, he added rules for the perception of energy forms like photons, kinetic energy, potential energy, sound waves, heat waves, mental waves, and spiritual waves.
After that, he added rules for the operation of forces and fields. So, gravitational field, electric field, magnetic field, mental field, bioelectric fields, etc.
With that done, he accounted for information states like mass, weight, length, area, volume, density, pressure, inertia, momentum, and many more.
Finally, he added the value of constants in the operation of rules. These constants included the speed of light, the gravitational constant, absolute zero, Planck’s constant, Avogadro’s constant, Boltzmann constant, and many more.
He didn’t just pour every rule into the statue like a cook pouring ingredients into a pot whole. He prepared each rule, changing their orientation, linking them to the other rules, and ensuring that they worked well with the other rules.
For Example, he linked mass to energy using the matter-energy equation E=mc^2. Then he linked mass to potential energy using the Potential Energy = Mass * Force * Height. After that, he linked the electric force with the magnetic force to create the electromagnetic force using lorentz force equation F = q(E + v × B).
Like so, he linked every single parameter together, linking them to one another as best as he could. He also didn’t forget to make sure that the way he defined the operation of each individual rule and linked them was exactly how these rules operated in the universe.
He couldn’t just make up formulas and get away with them. So he was meticulous in putting down the right formulas. And for the constants, he tried to put down values with the most decimal places that he could manage.
When he was done with setting up the rules, he extracted the commonality from the raw matter. Then he began using them as building blocks to manifest the container for the rules.
At first, he laid down one unit of commonality on the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis, making 1,1,1. Then he began adding commonalities to the x-axis and the y-axis.
He didn’t stop adding commonalities until he reached 3,3,1. When he reached this point, he stopped to wait.
This wait lasted a whole second. Since the incomplete Supreme Metac didn’t collapse, he continued adding commonalities to increase its size.
The plan was to attempt making a Cosmic Dao first with the rules he had. Of course, he didn’t expect this to work. He was just doing this first because it was the first on the list.
If this attempt failed, he would try again with the structure of a Grand Dao. If no Grand Dao in the universe fancied his offering, it would be rejected, and he would need to use the same rules to create a Major Dao.
If no Major Dao took the bait, then he could only try fishing for Minor Daos. This would undoubtedly cost a lot of lifespan, but he didn’t care about this little lifespan at this point.
This was the plan, and it was going through his mind as he added the 19th commonality. Then he saw the final product flash and vibrate briefly before it settled down.
He didn’t mean to, but he smiled. The more he looked at the Supreme Metac in front of him, the bigger the smile on his face became.
"I knew I was that good," he said with pride.
The final product was a book. It was a thick white book that was currently closed.
-KNOWLEDGE(ESSENCE OF RECORDS - 81): Inquiry (9).
It was a bona fide Cosmic Dao, the fourth one he had ever made. Just as its name indicated, its main ability is to inquire for information and knowledge about a target. As for who he was inquiring information from, it was the Knowledge Dao itself.
’I really want to use it. It is a pity that I can’t use any Metac directly with the spark of power right now,’ he thought as he tossed the new Cosmic Dao into the spark of power.
His spark of power can only use the Entropy 4-D prototype in its current state. This is because the spark of power he is using has a source of divinity.
So his spark of power is behaving like a godhead, and godheads can only have one Supreme Metac. There is also the fact that the 4-D Entropy is currently incomplete and incompatible with other Metacs, except for them to be used as raw materials for it.
