Chapter 371: Failed to Create Trouble

The video that could easily create a misunderstanding suddenly became viral. It was clear that Auric was doing something to his head, while Katarina was holding Timothy down.

The video spread like wildfire.

A lot of people revered Auric, so they loved to take him down. There was a weird happiness among petty people on the internet when they could tear down anyone at the top.

In addition, Dermania finally found their chance to bring Auric Elfe down.

Granda didn’t do anything, but they were pretty pleased to see Auric Elfe in trouble. After all, this meant Auric wouldn’t be able to compete with Nicholas. At the very least, Nicholas’s reputation was clean.

Auric, on the other hand, was so dirty that he even sabotaged another country.

In front of Auric’s room, the police had arrived.

"You’re not going to take him." Supervisor Jacob crossed his arms, glaring at them.

"We will have him arrested for questioning as part of our investigation." The captain looked at Supervisor Jacob, not planning to back down.

Maya was completely astounded. Her student’s ability to cause a mess was greater than her own.

She thought the matter with Head Instructor Ryan would be the biggest mess he had created, but it turned out he wasn’t done.

Maya let out a long sigh. "I guess we will have to confront them this time."

"You’re not going to ask me what it’s all about?" Auric smiled calmly even though he was in such a big mess.

"Why should I? All I know is that you are not someone who wants trouble. So, sabotaging another country is definitely not one of your tricks. There must be a misunderstanding, but before that, we will just have to confront them." Maya shook her head.

Auric chuckled. "Didn’t you once tell me to record everything?"

"Yeah, I did. If there’s something sketchy, you should start recording everything, so that when someone tries to take advantage of you, you’ll have proof."

Auric pointed at Katarina.

"You have the recording?" Maya asked with a solemn tone.

"I did record everything since he asked."

"Let me see." Maya gestured for Katarina to give her the recording. After receiving and checking the recording, Maya crossed his arms and said, "Let’s not publish it."

"What? Shouldn’t you publish it to clear his name?" Vera gasped. This was the most reasonable action if they wanted to clear Auric’s name.

"This is confidential information. As an evolution master, you shouldn’t reveal your patient’s information." Maya shook her head.

"That’s the least of our problems!" Vera couldn’t comprehend Maya’s action.

However, Auric was simply asking, "All right. Don’t tease her. Just tell her the true reason."

"We have to make it big first. Once the problem becomes big enough, we will reveal the proof and smack down those annoying people from Dermania. Hard!" Maya smirked.

"..." Vera was speechless, finally understanding why these two were teacher and student. They were the same.

Maya nodded in understanding. "All right. Let me handle it."

As soon as Maya came out of the room, everyone immediately locked their gaze on her. There were so many people outside. The police, the instructors from all five countries, and even the organizers. They were demanding justice.

"Maya?!" Supervisor Jacob looked surprised, not understanding why Maya came out. It would be better if she remained in the room and protected Auric.

On the other hand, the police looked like they wanted to rush in.

Maya inhaled deeply, ready to make trouble. Unfortunately for her, before she could even utter a single word, another voice echoed from the other side of the hallway. "That’s enough! What the hell are you doing?!"

"!!!" Maya and all others turned to the side, finding Timothy accompanied by a few instructors.

Maya’s instinct was tingling. She realized the situation had turned in a way she couldn’t cause another problem for Dermania.

A few minutes ago.

"Nhnn..." Timothy gradually opened his eyes, finding a few instructors and his roommates standing around him.

"Timothy! Timothy! Are you all right, kid?"

"Mhmm? Did I sleep too long? This is the first time I’ve got such a good sleep..." Timothy asked while trying to get up.

His roommates looked weird because this was also the first time Timothy had slept in this room. Usually, he would just go to another hotel and sleep with a woman.

"What’s going on?" Timothy felt something wasn’t right.

"We are going to demand justice from Esfrata. They think they can sabotage us just like this?"

"Huh? Why would Esfrata sabotage us?" Timothy tilted his head in confusion.

"Huh? Why?" The instructors were startled. Timothy was the one involved, and he was smart enough to know that this was supposed to be a problem. Yet, why would Timothy show no hostility at all?

His roommate took out his phone and showed the video. "Didn’t they attack you?"

Timothy was stunned. "Who recorded it?"

"We don’t know yet." His roommate shook his head.

"You have been assaulted outside the competition. We need to file a formal complaint about this." One instructor clenched his fists.

"No, no. You guys are misunderstanding things. They weren’t assaulting me. They were helping me." Timothy shook his head.

"W-What?!" All the people in the room looked shocked.

"I had a medical condition, and Auric was the one who treated it when nobody could. In fact, Lady Merlin is going to ask formally that we ally with Esfrata soon for the survival competition. I was asking them to come to a remote location because I didn’t want anyone to know about it, but..." Timothy let out a long sigh.

All of them were dumbfounded. They never thought the situation was actually the opposite.

"It was a misunderstanding all along? The police even came here."

Timothy’s body shook as he rushed out of bed. "I need to fix this problem."

They were confused, but they decided to follow Timothy to see what was going on. There was one thing that seemed suspicious. Katarina and Auric had used their power, but Timothy didn’t do anything.

Timothy should have had enough strength to unleash his power and create some mess that would catch other people’s attention. Yet, he didn’t do anything.

As soon as Timothy reached the hallway where Auric resided, he found so many people standing in the hallway.

He realized that the situation had become bigger than he had expected.

Without hesitation, he immediately called his father.

"Son? What’s up?"

"Hey, Dad. Have you perhaps looked at the news?"

"Not yet."

"It looks like there are some problems. Some guy recorded the treatment and caused a misunderstanding. I was the one who asked them to meet me there, so..." Timothy scratched the back of his head. "...I might have to clear it up by revealing that."

"Well, it’s something that has been treated, so I guess that will be fine as long as you feel it’s fine to reveal your medical information. You are a smart kid, so I know you will do the right thing."

"Yeah, but Lady Merlin might also misunderstand what happened."

"Ah! I’m on my way to visit her. You do what you think is right, son. I’m going to handle the problem on this side."

"Thank you, Dad."

"Yep. Be safe."

Timothy felt relieved that his dad was supporting him. In a way, this could be a way for them to take down Auric, but as expected, his dad focused more on the fact that Auric could treat his son than anything else.

Suddenly, Maya came out of Auric’s room.

"!!!" Timothy saw her. It looked like she was going to fight them.

Timothy clenched his hands. He didn’t like to reveal his medical information. Who would like to reveal their most vulnerable side to all the people on the internet?

He didn’t exactly need to prove himself anymore, so he just wanted to continue living peacefully.

However, if he didn’t solve this problem, he was afraid that the alliance would be impossible to forge. Auric might also feel dissatisfied with how he handled this problem and chose to refuse further treatment.

In the worst-case scenario, Auric would be gone entirely.

That was why he had to reveal his vulnerable side. This would show his sincerity to Esfrata and uphold the promise he had made.

"Stop!" Timothy shouted before a fight broke out.

Everyone immediately shifted their gazes to him.

"What’s going on here?!" Timothy glared at them.

"Timothy, are you all right?" The instructors from the UK immediately came to him, making sure he was all right after that incident.

"Why would I not be all right? I am feeling even better because of what happened yesterday, and for some reason, it seems to have become a problem."

"What? What’s going on?" The head instructor asked.

"Auric was treating the health issue that had been plaguing me for almost two years. What are you guys doing now? Did you even ask whether I was assaulted or not?"
