Gravemont had given a two-month holiday immediately after the ceremony, and everyone was leaving.

Theo didn’t have much. Just a small piece of luggage and a little backpack she was wearing. The stuffed animals hung from its sides, and the sunlight reflected on the bracelet on her wrist, making the beads sparkle.

She’d met up with Aurelius a while ago, and they had spoken about random stuff. She’d tried to bring up Celeste, but it didn’t look like he was interested in talking about his ex-best buddy. Whatever it was that was hindering their relationship this bad, she really hoped they would resolve it soon.

Now, she was walking toward the gates, surrounded by other students who were also leaving. Most of them were getting picked up in expensive cars.

She’d half expected Zeke to pick her up on his bike again, but even as she stepped out of the massive gates, she couldn’t find him anywhere.

That was until a sleek, black car pulled up in front of her. Her mouth hung open as she stared at the beautiful machine in front of her, then the tinted windows rolled down, and she saw her mates seated in the back.

"Hey, pretty boy," Zeke flirted, his eyes sparkling, "How about you hop in and let me drop you off?"

Beside him, Sylas smiled and shook his head in disbelief. Then, he pressed a button, and the door opened by itself, "Get in,"

She climbed into the car and sat between them. The interior was just as black as the exterior, and Wolfe was driving. She’d never fancied cars before, this was on a whole new level.

"Who owns this car?" She asked.

"I do," Sylas replied.

She turned to him and blinked, "How?"

He stared at her too, "How?"

"Yeah, how? Are you like...rich or something?"

Sylas shrugged, "How do you define rich?"

"He owns a few companies across the world and they are doing massively well." Zeke chirped in and winked at his brother, who simply rolled his blue eyes.

"So you’re like what?" Theo continued, "A millionaire?"

"Trillionaire," Zeke corrected, "Multi-trillionaire,"

Her jaw instantly dropped to the floor, and she felt like she’d just been hit by a bus or something. Multi-trillionaire?!! "He’s exaggerating," Sylas mumbled.

"No, I’m not." Zeke grinned, "He practically owns every good business there is. Both on the surface and the ones in the underworld. Golden-black is killing it!"

Sylas rolled his eyes again.

"That’s crazy," Theo murmured, mostly to herself. And then, she began thinking of how she’d already spent months with these two, and yet she was just finding out about this. It made her realise that despite everything, she still knew so little about her mates.

At least she had two months and, well, the rest of their lives to learn about them.

"Let’s talk less about me and more about you," Sylas said and faced her properly. He took her hands into his and placed feathery kisses on them, "What happened today...I wasn’t expecting it. Draegor didn’t tell me about his decision to enroll females, and now I really wish I could go back in time and watch what you did in that play. I only heard stories,"

"You should have seen her as Lyra. She was perfect," Zeke added, and started to play with her hair.

"I’m so happy females now get to have an equal chance as men do." Theo said.

"You should be very proud of yourself."

"I am," She nodded and kissed Sylas on the cheek, "I also feel very overwhelmed. I wonder how next session is gonna be and how much more the world might change. A lot of things happened this year, and I cannot believe just how far we’ve all come. If I hadn’t made that decision to escape the North and come here... nothing would have changed, and I wouldn’t have met you two."

"Do not worry about the future for now," Sylas replied and tightened his hold on her hands, assuring her with his touch, "Do not worry about a single thing, Venom. All I want from you is your happiness and fulfilment."

"Thank you," She whispered, and leaned against his chest.

Zeke was still playing with her hair. He was saying something about how it was feeling more and more like silk each passing day, and something about how he’d read somewhere that an indication of a pregnant she-wolf is silkier hair.

Theo had rolled her eyes at him. She definitely did not feel pregnant.

Also, Seraphina had achieved telepathic communication with Moon and Zade — Sylas’s wolf- and now, she was constantly chatting with them. It was endless. It’s like she had so much to say all her life and was finally pouring it out on someone, and Moon and Zade just happened to be enthusiastic listeners and were constantly purring.

That’s another reason why Zeke and Sylas couldn’t keep their hands off her almost every day...and night.

"Are you headed back to the Cottage?" Theo asked.

"Yes. Charlene is expecting us," Sylas replied.

"I’ve missed her," Theo whispered.

"Join the queue," Zeke mumbled.

She almost punched him in the eye, then she leaned back against them and sighed contentedly.

The car grew quiet, and she could hear nothing more but the sound of the engine and their heartbeats. It was so soothing that she could fall asleep.

Everything in her life seemed to be so perfect right now.

She still had scars. There were memories she would never forget, people she would always miss, and parts of herself she was still learning to understand.

But she was finding herself again.

Building herself again.

And she didn’t have to do it alone anymore.

Without opening her eyes, she reached into her backpack and pulled out two photographs. One was the one she’d brought with her to Gravemont — She and her mother.

The other one was the one Charlene had given her. The same one that had all four of them by the stream.

She traced a finger over the photos and smiled.

They really have all come so far.

Once, she had been a little girl who believed that if she could only become strong enough, good enough, and useful enough, perhaps her father would finally look at her with love.

Now, she had people who looked at her that way without needing her to prove a single thing.

She had Sylas, she had Zeke, and she had Charlene, and they had all lost so much. Losses they couldn’t erase.

But everyone was healing. Everyone was still living. Everyone was still... learning to love themselves and be happy for once.

Her gaze returned to the photograph of her mother, and a familiar ache settled in her chest. She really wished her mother had met these two.

But she couldn’t change the past.

She could only carry her mother with her into the future.

And she would.

Then another face appeared in her mind.

Liam.

Theo swallowed, making a mental note to visit his grave again soon. She would forever miss him. Forever be grateful that he had saved her mates. Forever treasure the friendship they had shared and the life he had helped give back to her.

"Thank you, William," She whispered. "Thank you."

"Are you crying again?" Sylas murmured into her ear.

"No." She pouted stubbornly and quickly wiped her tears.

"Yes, you are."

"Your eyes are leaking, Hellcat!" Zeke announced.

"Do you want me to break your nose?"

"No, thank you. I happen to be very fond of my nose."

"Then shut up."

He laughed and pulled her into his arms, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

Sylas took the photographs from her hands, looked at them briefly, and carefully returned them to her backpack, "Let me know when you are visiting your mum again. I would love to go with you,"

Her eyes watered again.

"Me too," Zeke whispered.

She nodded tearfully, and zipped the bag closed.

She couldn’t wait.

She looked at her mates again and smiled.

Sylas, who had spent so much of his life keeping the world at a distance, had people he could finally hold close without fearing he would lose them.

Zeke, who had once been all fire and fury, had found a love that didn’t ask him to be anything other than himself.

"I love you," She whispered.

Zeke didn’t have a clever remark this time, instead, he looked away and groaned with glistening eyes, "Now you’ve got me doing it!"

She burst out laughing, and Sylas shook his head, but he was smiling too.

And as the car carried them towards the cottage, towards Charlene and the life waiting for them, Theo rested her head against her mates again and closed her eyes.

There would be other days.

There would be difficult mornings, old wounds that ached unexpectedly, arguments, mistakes, and things they hadn’t yet learned how to face. But they would face them together.

*Hey,* Seraphina whispered into her head.

*Look who decided to stop chatting with her boyfriends after ghosting me for over two weeks and finally remembered that I existed,* Theo groaned.

*Oh, don’t act like you haven’t also been smitten away by them too. We are both suckers for them, okay?*

Theo laughed, and Seraphina joined her.

*So, there is something I think you need to know.* Seraphina said more quietly.

Theo was so relaxed that she didn’t immediately notice the tension in Sera’s voice, *What is it?*

*Uhmmm, so...* Seraphina made a weird noise with her throat, *So, uhmmm, I strongly believe, from the obvious changes I’ve noticed and the ones that haven’t started to manifest but would soon enough...that we are pregnant,*

Theo’s eyes opened again.

Oh, dear Moon Goddess!
