Zeke had been watching her quietly for over an hour ago. She was sitting on her bed, her expression changing every five seconds.

She would make wolf sounds from her throat, most especially a growl and she had angrily thrown all the pillows on her bed across the room, and currently, she was rolling over the bed and looking like she was cursing someone out.

*Really, Sera? Really?! You couldn’t have told me all this before!!*

*Of course not. You were recovering, and Ava was right. We can’t sprout information into you at that moment. You needed time for your own self, where you didn’t have to worry about any one else*

*But still!* Theo was beginning to pull on the sheets, *Celeste was a boy who turned into a girl on the nights of Moon events because of his blood powers and has finally attained his true form forever? And he kept it from Aurelius?*

*That’s probably why his expression changed when you mentioned Celeste.*

*Ugh! He must be so disappointed and mad at his best friend!*

"Hellcat,"

*Do you think they are ever gonna just talk things out and become friends again?* Theo questioned, right before another question popped into her head, *And do you think they would allow Celeste to come back to Gravemont as a woman?*

*I... don’t think so, Theo,*

*Does that mean she’s bound to become a Luna now? But wait, how is she going to find a husband? Is any Alpha gonna wanna marry a man who turned into a woman?*

*I have no idea*

"Hellcat!"

*Gosh, I wonder how she’s feeling right now. I wonder what her new life feels like. Is she being asked to wear dresses? Is her father going to send her to Luna Academy? Oh shit! What happens when she gets her period?*

A hand suddenly grabbed her face, pulling her back to the surface of her thoughts, "Hellcat!!"

Theo blinked, and there was Zeke.

She didn’t even realise when he had stood up from his bed, climbed unto hers and now had both hand and legs around her.

His face hovered dangerously close to hers, and her breath caught when she saw him. Seeing him everytime was like seeing him for the first time. Her heart always had the very same reaction.

"You’re lucky you came back to me or else I would have kissed you out of it," He murmured.

Her eyes fell to his lips.

It looked like a delicious-looking organism on its own. The perfect shape. Perfect plumpness. Perfect colour.

"That makes me very unlucky," She replied almost inaudibly.

Zeke smirked, then he reached down and brushed his lips against hers. Any further and they wouldn’t be leaving his bed any time soon, "What were you discussing with your wolf that was making you throw things around?"

Her eyes furrowed in confusion, then she peered around her and saw the mess she had made. A sigh fell out her lips, "Seraphina was telling me everything that happened while I was at Gravemont the first time. She told me about my classes, you, Sylas, Aurelius, Celeste, Finn...and apparently I once had Best friend named Eric who is also your little brother,"

"Did she tell you the part where you had a crush on him?"

"Ugh!" Theo squeezed her eyes shut, disgust crawling down her veins, "I feel so ashamed of myself. Can’t believe he turned out to be Cain’s spy!"

"Yeah," Zeke nodded once, his thoughts drifting back to the past.

"Where is he now?" She asked.

"Sylas has him,"

"Where?"

"A prison,"

"What prison?"

"An underground one. He can’t escape from there,"

"Well, good for him!" Theo beamed, "After all the damage he was involved in!"

"Yeah," Zeke’s eyes darkened for a moment, "A whole lot of damage,"

"Forget about him for now. Let’s talk about Aurelius now,"

Zeke was tracing a hand down her face, and the name had him growling a little, "What about him?"

"He’s Alpha now,"

"And?"

"He must really have so much he’s carrying,"

"That’s what being an Alpha means," Zeke said.

"Yeah, but...," Theo was struggling with the right words, "I think...he needs someone. Like a friend. Like a Luna. A companion of some sort. The guy looks really lonely. I could see it all over his face when he spoke today,"

"You are NOT becoming his Luna. Or his friend!" His voice was becoming something dark, "In fact, I do not want to see you talking to any male in this Academy. If anyone bothers you and I’m not there, or even says a simple ’Hi’ to you, tell me. All you need to do is point at the guy and I’ll do the fucking rest, ok?"

Theo’s face had changed from concerned to flabbergasted. Her lips were parted, her eyes were wide and she had frozen completely.

He sounded like his soul was only made of possessive energy toward her and nothing more.

"Theo?"

"What if I’m the one who talks to them first?" She asked.

"You could," He paused, "And they’ll still end up toothless the next morning,"

"You’re not gonna... actually hurt anyone because of me, right?"

"No, of course not," He smiled.

That smile carried more sarcasm than anything else.

"Come on," She pushed, this time touching his face. He instantly leaned into her touch, rubbing his face against her warmth, "The guy is really nice,"

"I’m not taking any risks," Zeke closed his eyes with a pleased sigh when her fingers began gliding through the stubble on his face.

"Then, you should do it,"

He opened his eyes.

"Go talk to him. Be his friend. He needs one right now desperately even though he’d never admit it,"

Zeke looked at her like she had just said the most ridiculous thing ever.

"I’m being serious," She frowned.

"I and Aurelius can’t...be friends. We’ve never been. Our relationship is more of being...rivals to each other. He’s from the South, and I, the east. Moreover, if I suddenly start talking to him he might misunderstand and think that I’m only trying to gain favour from him because of the trial..." Zeke’s eyes shot up like he’d just said something he wasn’t supposed to, and then he clamped his lips shut and his muscles locked around his neck.

"What trial?" She asked, gripping his face tighter than she was supposed to, trying to force his gaze back at her again.

He desperately avoided it.

"Zeke..." She drawled in a warning voice, "Start talking!"

"Uhhh," He quickly stood up and started to walk toward the door, "I totally forgot. I haven’t eaten. Gotta head to the Boneyard,"

She was also out of bed and grabbed the nearest jacket she could reach, looking at him with fierce, guilt-tripping eyes, "Yeah? I’m still hungry so I guess I’m coming with you!"
