The Forbidden Heiress At The All Male Alpha Academy
Chapter 264: Slowly finding Peace again
I used my shadows to place an illusion on your face, so you won’t be needing all that weird makeup again,"
Now that the mating frenzy between them had died down, they were finally talking.
She was putting on one of his shirts, and it went all the way to her knees. And they’d left the bedroom for good reason, although there was a couch in the sitting room too, and Sylas had been glancing at it every two seconds.
He still looked like a starved man.
The kind that never got satisfied because the more he eats, the hungrier he gets.
In this case, she was the whole meal.
"Only those who know the real you, will see your true face,"
Theo was puzzled. It had her wondering how shadows are able to achieve such fear and what more he could use them to do.
She’d settled a bit around him.
A bit.
There was comfort in her soul, because it recognised him as her mate. There was peace in her pounding heart, because it felt safe and cherished around him.
As for her brain, it was still trying to process all this...hence why she was still slightly uncomfortable around him.
"W...what else can your Shadows do?" She asked.
"Blend in," He replied, unable to stop herself from reaching out to take her hand in his. It’s like there was this uncontrollable need to always maintain some amount of physical contact with her, "Disappear. Move. Feel more than I should. It could also make Shadow warriors,"
"That sounds cool," She locked her fingers around his.
This felt safe. Very safe.
But she was really having a hard time catching up. And she was trying. She wanted to catch up.
"What else would you like to know?!"
Well, if she said what was on her mind right now she might trigger something she wouldn’t be able to stop. And right now, she was incredibly sore.
"No, I’m okay for now,"
"You sure?" He looked slightly amused, "Your heart skipped when I asked,"
She chewed on her lower lip, "Yeah,"
There was a short distance between them. He’d left those inches between them for her sake, because he could not continuously overwhelm her as he did. But with her acting like this, and the need to feel her close, he snaked his hand around her waist and pulled her against him.
She stumbled forward on the couch, falling against his chest with a short gasp.
"You can ask me anything, Venom," He sounded sincere. He’s always sounded sincere, this one just came out softer and more tender than the rest.
"Okay," She gave in, thinking of how to ask what was in mind, "So, Uhmmm," She cleared her throat, "Has it... always been that big, and long?"
Sylas instantly bit back a chuckle. He couldn’t afford to make her go silent again now that she was beginning to speak more.
"And...have I always," She swallowed, "Been able to take it like that? And...well, has your libido always been this high?" By the time she finished, she had lowered her eyes from his.
He gently pressed her head against his chest, letting her rest on it. He kept on biting his lips, swallowing every laugh that tried to make it out of his mouth.
He would laugh another time.
He would tease her about this another day, once she was less... uncomfortable.
Today, he would be on his best behaviour.
"I was about ten inches before I merged with Erebos," He said, and every word rumbled up his chest and into his ear. She found it strangely comforting.
But wait...ten inches?!
"Then we merged, and I honestly didn’t have time to see if I have grown or not because a lot of things were happening back then. Then I finally merged perfectly with him, and I woke up and found out that...I had added more inches than that,"
Again, he tried not to laugh.
Especially when he heard her swallow back something. Probably a gasp.
"We never had sex before now, but I think you know the same answer to your second question. If the inches I have now can fit inside you perfectly, you would have been able to take ten inches too,"
Her mouth opened and formed a ’Whattttt!!!’
"And as for my libido, it had... skyrocketed. With my wolf, I was able to control it a bit but with Erebos now...I find it a lot more difficult than before. Demons have...more need for intimacy with their mates than wolves do. They could have sex non-stop for weeks!"
Now, her face looked horrified and her mouth formed the words ’Oh my God’
"I cannot assure you that I do not want to make love to you all year long, Venom, but I would always assure you this,"
She held her breath.
"I would never hurt you. If I were to remain buried inside you all week, all month, then I’ll make sure you enjoy every second it lasts. And if you do feel pain, I’ll make it the enjoyable kind,"
Sylas didn’t know if she was ok with that, but he still held her. He could tell her eyes were closed now, and she was no longer making funny expressions than orh her face.
She was more... relaxed now.
Her arms gently lifted from her sides and wrapped around his back, holding him as gentle and warm as he was holding her.
"Okay," She breathed.
That one word was enough to make him exhale in relief. He might understand her body language, but he still badly needed the verbal confirmation that she was ok with what he’d just told her.
He kissed the top of her head.
"You’re so...," She rubbed her head against his chest again, and this time she didn’t need to think of the words, "You’re so warm,"
Sylas’s eyes widened.
That had to be the first time since Erebos sat in his body, that anyone was describing as a that.
He wanted to ask her why she thought he was warm, when he decided to drop it for now.
Because, they now had company.
Theo’s senses were...calm.
In the arms of this man, she had subconsciously let go of everything that made her a wolf. Her senses felt at ease, and she couldn’t feel anything but his touch.
So the moment the door to his house burst open, it startled her very much.
She almost jumped off the couch, her heart pounding from the noise.
Her senses cake back to her immediately, and the mate bond reacted violently again to the person standing in front of them.
He looked every bit of the other man she’d clung to six months ago on the battlefield, one that was a sharp, opposite contrast to the one she’s been with since last night.
The one who’s presence set her heart aflame.
She was staring into the eyes of Hezekiah Pendragon.
"I knew it!" Zeke boomed.
