Chapter 1027: Chapter 1027: The Dilemma of Fairy Flower Valley (Part 1)

Sitting in the Immortal Cave, the years pass without sound.

On this day, Shen Mo successfully added the "Universe in the Sword" skill to his Dharma Body, further shaping the skeleton of the Dharma Phase and adding a touch of divinity, which greatly improved his mood.

He withdrew the Chaotic Yuan Dharma Phase, causing various fantastic scenes to fade, then scanned the Communication Talisman with his sense, learning that Chen Mengze had also come out of seclusion. He planned to go to the Jade Pool Zone to collect the newly brewed spiritual wine from the Drunken Immortal Pot and then visit Chen Mengze at the Dark Ice Cave for a drink.

Just then, the Soul Refining Flag emitted a strange fluctuation!

Shen Mo frowned, took out the Soul Refining Flag, immersed his mind in it, and carefully sensed. He discovered that the Sixth Rank Demon Soul General Peiyu Fairy’s Soul Body had been dispersed, the minor Soul Refining Flag she inhabited had been destroyed, and she returned directly to the main flag.

In recent years, he had dispatched quite a number of minor flags...

Shi Nianyao, Tiansuan Zi, and Dou Fei, the three Formless Masters, needed to move an Immortal Mountain to the Corpse Mountain Range and were bound to encounter formidable demons and monsters. So Shen Mo gave each of them three minor flags for protection, each containing a Sixth Rank Demon Soul General.

Additionally, Meng Biao and six others needed the power of the Sixth Rank Demon Soul Generals to improve the Earth Yuan Array, so they each had a minor flag.

However, the issue was not with Shi Nianyao or Meng Biao, but with Flower Fairy Ami!

Shortly after Shen Mo ascended to Formless Master, he received clues about the Flower Fairy clan and Gold Man tribe from Dreamland. After Fairy Flower Valley ascended to the Immortal Realm, it descended in a corner of Cangwu Continent, while the Gold Man tribe descended on Zhuji Continent. Ami and Tai 26 then searched for Peiyu Fairy and the Ghost Bride.

Both the Flower Fairy clan and the Gold Man tribe are wandering clans from the Outer Zone that ascended from the Primordial Realm to the Immortal Realm. However, due to their differing forbidden land drop locations, their subsequent destinies were worlds apart.

The Gold Man tribe’s forbidden land fell into a region teeming with demons and evil spirits on Zhuji Continent. Due to the high firmament and thick ground of the Immortal Realm, the Gold Man tribe’s Class V experts were unable to move the forbidden land away and had to lead their tribe in battling demons and monsters, struggling amidst peril.

Ultimately unable to withstand the overwhelming demon forces, the Gold Man tribe suffered heavy casualties over decades, even their forbidden land was destroyed. The surviving Gold Men were left wandering, continually dying at the hands of demons or being captured by greedy Human Cultivators for treasure refining!

Later, Tai 26, alongside the Ghost Bride, spent years finding and rescuing over 200 tribesmen, bringing them to the Red Flame Sect.

Considering the deep camaraderie forged in the Primordial Realm, the Red Flame Sect accepted this group of Gold Men and assigned them tasks in the Hundred Arts Hall based on their talents, managing affairs related to gold and stone mines.

The Flower Fairy clan was luckier. Although the rampage of demons and monsters on Cangwu Continent was worse than on Zhuji Continent, the place where Fairy Flower Valley descended was relatively peaceful.

Upon finding her kin on Cangwu Continent, Ami saw their development was quite smooth. She stayed in Fairy Flower Valley for some time before returning to the Red Flame Sect with gifts from the Flower Fairy clan, including five Mother Tree green leaves!

Following that, every ten to twenty years, Ami would visit Fairy Flower Valley for a few days, sometimes bringing friendly Flower Fairies to the Red Flame Sect as guests.

However, given Ami’s cultivation realm, traveling between Cangwu Continent and Phoenix Continent required significant time and was unsafe, potentially being devoured by unknown demons emerging from nowhere.

Thus, whenever Ami traveled to Fairy Flower Valley, Shen Mo always dispatched Peiyu Fairy, familiar with her, to escort Ami back and forth.

This time was no different; more than half a month ago, after informing Shen Mo of her travel plans, Ami set out with Peiyu Fairy for Cangwu Continent.

Thanks to the opening of transmission routes between the Red Flame Sect and other Immortal Alliance True Immortal powers, travel from Five Dragon Mountain to Fairy Flower Valley in Cangwu Continent was now much more convenient and safer than before. Shen Mo therefore did not pay too much attention to Peiyu Fairy, only realizing the problem at Ami’s place when her Soul Body was scattered and the minor flag destroyed!

...

In a corner of southwest Cangwu Continent, Fairy Flower Valley.

This is a world of grass and spiritual plants, where a towering tree stands at the center of heaven and earth like a mountain, its crown supporting the firmament, roots entwining the ground. Its branches are adorned with peculiar fruit resembling jade and leaves etched with runes, and the sunlight filters through the layers of leaves, casting a soothing light, creating a serene and harmonious atmosphere.

This giant tree is the flower fairy Mother Tree that nurtures all Flower Fairies. Once the strange fruit on the tree matures, exquisite and beautiful Flower Fairies fly out one by one!

Underneath the giant tree, numerous spiritual plants grow.

The relatively tall spirit wood presents a variety of colorful forms, with various shapes of trunk and leaves, and flowers with different colors and Spirit Fruit, slightly swaying in the breeze, emitting a gentle, soothing sound.

The relatively small, peculiar flowers and herbs compete in growth: some are as large as basins, vibrantly colored with layered petals like firework blossoms; others are petite and delicate with gentle hues, slightly drooping like shy maidens; others sparkle like stars, some crystalline like ice, others resemble flames, adding much color to this forested grassland!

Among the spirit wood and flowers, houses and palace halls meticulously built by Flower Fairies are smaller than Human Race buildings, the largest resembling a pavilion, yet are exquisite and beautiful, woven entirely from grass, wood, and vines, perfectly blending with the floral landscape.

Yet, amid such dreamlike serenity, a hint of disharmony looms!

If one examines carefully, they would find many peculiar flowers and herbs wilted, and some spirit wood leaves have browned, even the vitality of the flower fairy Mother Tree seems weakened, having shed numerous leaves, and various peculiar fruits that birth Flower Fairies are significantly withered.

Near the Mother Tree’s roots grows a wide-leaved spirit grass with leaves extending outward in circular formation, on each blade sits, stands, or floats a Flower Fairy.

There are over ninety Flower Fairies in total, all Class IV and above. Among them, seven are Class V Flower Fairies, and two are Class VI; within Class VI, one Flower Fairy, Big Moro Yao, had considerable dealings in the Primordial Realm with Shen Mo. After ascending to the Immortal Realm, she and another Flower Fairy both rose to Class VI, but their vitality is unstable, evidently suffering serious wounds.

Ami is also among them, with shattered pieces of the minor Soul Refining Flag at her feet, her face full of worry!

Most other Flower Fairies share similar expressions, looking burdened. After exchanging a few simple words, they quickly fall into silence again.

After storing the minor Soul Refining Flag fragments into the Golden Flowery Realm, Ami suddenly lifts her head, chirping to the two Class VI Flower Fairies, "Big Moro Yao, Big Moro Ja, if this continues, the Mother Tree will die! Let me inform Moro Shen, he is very capable and can drive away the bad guys."
