"Sect Master, what were you chatting about for so long?"

Carradine’s eyes sparkled with curiosity as she quietly asked, a soul of gossip burning brightly in her gaze.

Carson Flores laughed, "I just came to get some support, you know? The Hall Master needs to understand my past, right? So I talked about past events, and naturally, time flies."

Carradine asked hopefully, "Did you manage to get the support?"

"Yes, I did."

Carson Flores laughed, "The Hall Master said he wouldn’t help with small matters, like the ones happening around here, or if I upset anyone. But if things blow up, he won’t let me be wronged."

Carradine breathed a big sigh of relief, "That’s great! With his words, I doubt anyone will dare trouble us again."

Carson Flores shrugged, "Maybe not. The Hall Master just said if things blow up, as long as I’m in the right, he won’t let me be wronged. But he also said he wouldn’t step forward for these issues, so we have to handle them ourselves."

"Huh?"

Carradine paused for a moment and anxiously asked, "Did you mention to the Hall Master that Theron Coffey is Cyras Roth’s uncle?"

"No, I didn’t."

Carson Flores explained, "It’s true that Theron Coffey is Cyras Roth’s uncle, but so far, we’ve only had conflicts with Cyras Roth. It’s not like Theron is helped his nephew against us or even intervened for Cyras Roth as of now. How could I mention that?"

"I can’t just ask the Hall Master to transfer Theron Coffey or move me away from his subordinates just because they’re related and I fear retaliation. That’s clearly impossible. I’m not that important..."

Carradine thought about it and realized her own anxiety had made her jump to conclusions.

"True, but since the Hall Master said you wouldn’t be wronged, we have that reassurance. If anyone tries to retaliate against you, Sect Master, our entire Majestic Sect will support you and make sure you’re not wronged!"

Carson Flores laughed, "Great, I’ll be relying on you all to back me up."

Carradine relaxed, "You are our Sect Master, we stand together. We’re like one entity, sharing glory and loss. You offended those people for the Majestic Sect, if it were just you, there wouldn’t be any conflicts with them."

Carson Flores laughed, "Forget about them. We’ll return to the Majestic Sect, then go into seclusion for cultivation, enhancing our strength and preparing for battle..."

Carson Flores’ smile faded, and his expression grew serious, "The Hall Master said the Immortal Demon War is inevitable, whether it’s within a few years or more than a decade or two. The war is destined to happen, so during this final period, you should urge all disciples to cultivate and enhance their combat power, and prepare their magical treasures."

Carradine solemnly replied, "Yes, Sect Master!"

Carson Flores paused, "You head back to the reception center first, I have some matters to attend to."

Carradine asked with concern, "Should I accompany you?"

Carson Flores laughed, "This is the War God Mansion, who would dare ambush and kill me openly? If those people wanted to deal with me, they’d definitely have someone tailing me. They surely know that I’ve been with the Hall Master for a long time, so they’d think about the consequences before making their move."

Carradine thought this over and agreed, stopping her insistence, and turned to leave.

Carson Flores left the city, walking westward along the grand century defense line.

After traveling a few hundred miles, Carson Flores reached the Sixth Legion’s camp.

Carson Flores took out the Token of his Majestic Sect Master identity and expressed his purpose to the guards at the gate.

Carson Flores was not met with any trouble, after all, his identity was one of their own.

While waiting, Carson Flores suddenly thought of Ilvarion Arnold, who wasn’t said to have stayed in the War God Mansion but reportedly joined the Sixth Legion?

"Brother, can I ask you about Ilvarion Arnold? A very young genius Array Master who joined the Sixth Legion only in the last couple of decades..."

Carson Flores was just asking casually since a legion had at least thousands, or even tens of thousands of people, how could the gate guard possibly know?

Unexpectedly, the guard replied directly, "Are you talking about the one our Army Commander took as a last disciple, Ilvarion Arnold?"

Carson Flores’ eyes widened in pleasant surprise, "He was taken in as a last disciple by the Sixth Legion Commander?"

The guard nodded, "If we’re talking about the same person, then yes. Do you know him?"

Carson Flores laughed, "We are friends and come from the same place, but have been apart for some time. I only knew he joined the Sixth Legion, but I had no idea of his exact situation, so I’m asking..."

The guard warmed up considerably, "Need me to inform him you’re here?"

Carson Flores thought for a moment, "No need to bother. Just knowing he’s doing well is enough."

Carson Flores was genuinely happy for Ilvarion Arnold because he came to the Crimson Immortal Domain with him to apply his talents, and now not only has his dream come true, but he’s also been taken as a last disciple by the Commander, with boundless prospects.

Currently, Carson Flores had offended quite a few people, and his every word and action might be watched, so it’s better not to cause trouble for Ilvarion.
