"Is everything ready?"

"Ready."

"Set off!"

With Carson Flores’s command, Artifact Refining Hall Master Yackey Decker, Alchemy Hall Master Boyd, and Enforcement Hall Master Carradine led ten elite disciples of the Majestic Sect onto the flying boat.

Carson waved to the crowd seeing them off, then flew onto the flying boat.

On the surface, he didn’t bring anyone, but inside the Ethereal Pagoda, Snow Zane and Broken Heaven Pathist were always there, along with the Starry Sky Demon Tiya who had never shown herself.

Carson had only stayed in the Majestic Sect for half a month before embarking on the journey to the War God Temple. After all, the sooner he retrieves the items, the sooner he can prepare and arm many disciples.

No one could predict when the full-blown war would break out, or when the War God Temple’s battle task would be issued. Preparing early could save many lives if a mission arises and fighting starts.

Jarett Roth had expressed his wish to accompany Carson, but was refused by Carson. The reason: someone needed to stay as the overseer, and Jarett Roth was the best person for the job. As for collecting things, both the Artifact Refining Hall Master and Alchemy Hall Master had done it many times; they were very familiar with the process.

Carradine volunteered to accompany Carson, reasoning that she could run errands when Carson needed her. Seeing she didn’t have much to do staying behind, Carson agreed.

The journey was smooth, and they arrived at the War God Temple without incident.

Carson stood at the bow of the ship, surveying the wilderness ahead.

In that wilderness, towering platforms stood, each as tall as a kilometer, constructed entirely of hard metal. Furthermore, the metal was inscribed with formation patterns, undoubtedly processed by artifact refiners.

Each platform held a row of massive spiritual power cannons, with formation patterns flickering on the giant barrels, emanating a chilling, imposing aura in the air.

In front of the high platforms of cannons, a majestic wall, akin to a mountain range, rose straight from the ground like a sharp blade, protecting all the spiritual power cannon platforms behind it.

The wall was covered with various rune arrays, sparkling with a faint light.

Whether it was the wall or the spiritual power cannons on the platforms, everything was in a silent state, with no formation activated, and yet Carson could still feel the unique pressure of the battlefield.

Carson looked into the distance; the wall and platforms stretched endlessly, with no end in sight.

How many cannon platforms were there?

Ten thousand, a hundred thousand, or a million?

How long was this wall?

How many formations were there?

Such a grand defensive line, what scale of attack could it withstand?

If this line was filled with attacking and defending warriors, how many people would that be?

A hundred thousand, a million?

Or even more?

Carson cast his gaze farther, since the line was here, then opposite it should be the Immortal Demon Passage?

Standing beside Carson, Carradine said softly, "Sect Master, do you see that void on the horizon? That’s the Immortal Demon Passage."

Carson narrowed his eyes slightly, nodding slowly.

At the end of the sky and earth, there were no steep mountains, no shining sun, only a haze of black void, like a still black hole, encompassing all space, like the world’s end.

Carson turned back to look at the vast array of buildings, admiration in his eyes.

"The War God Temple is directly on the battlefield, ready to engage at any moment."

Carradine replied, "The Hall Master said, for the Demon Race to step over the line and fully enter the Crimson Immortal Domain, they must step over the corpses of everyone at the War God Temple, him included. Otherwise, not a single step beyond the line!"

Carson praised, "What spirit!"

The flying boat soon reached the War God Temple. After a round of checks, it flew to a large open area and landed.

On the ground were numerous flying boats, even fortress-like giant ships, densely packed. Flying boats came and went, an endless stream.

"Sect Master, how about we check into the reception station first and then take care of business?"

Carson smiled, "It’s my first time here, so you arrange everything."

The War God Temple was not a massive grand hall, but a super huge city.

According to Carradine’s introduction, a large number of cultivators were stationed here long-term, rotating periodically. However, regardless of the time, this place held terrifying combat power, able to summon countless cultivators into defense battles in no time.

With a large number of cultivators stationed, vast resources and a large amount of logistical personnel were naturally needed, so the population of this super city numbered at least several million.

Under Carradine’s guidance, Carson and his group found the reception station, the official reception agency of the War God Temple, dedicated to receiving subordinates from various places coming here for business.

As they walked into this place that looked more like a sprawling estate, they were greeted by two men and a woman. The leading man saw them, and an exaggerated smile appeared on his face: "Yackey Decker, Boyd, how long has it been? You’re here again!"
