Chapter 298: Chapter 299 Marked by Alpha King
Aria’s POV
I felt him trembling.
The man behind me—the Alpha King, the one who had kept me at arm’s length and called it mercy—was shaking inside me. His thighs against the backs of mine. His hand in my hair. His mouth on the place he wanted to ruin.
I turned my face as far as I could. Enough to catch his eyes. Enough to see the fear still living under all that hunger.
"Yes," I whispered, and my voice cracked on it. "Yes."
Relief broke across his face. Then need swallowed it whole.
"Then take it," I said, breathless, pushing back onto him, making him groan. "Mark me. Make me yours. I want it. I want you. I want everything. Don’t you dare pull out to do it—I want you in me when you bite."
His control snapped.
He covered me.
One arm hooked under my breasts and hauled me up off the cushions, my chest slammed to his chest, his cock still buried, the new angle punching a broken sound out of my throat. I was sitting on him, impaled, thighs spread over his, dripping down onto his skin.
His hand splayed over my stomach, holding me there. His mouth found that tender join of neck and shoulder like he’d been starving for it.
"Come for me again," he whispered against my pulse. "Let go. I’ve got you."
He started moving.
Not the brutal pace from before. Deeper. Filthier. Short, claiming thrusts that made me feel every thick inch of him dragging through the mess I’d already made. His palm slid down between my legs and found my clit, still swollen, too sensitive, and I sobbed, trying to twist away and grind into it at the same time.
"Damian— it’s too much—"
"You can take it." His fangs grazed me. "You’re going to take all of it. My cock. My bite. My name in your blood. Say it."
"Yours," I gasped. "I’m yours. Mark me. Please— please, I need it—"
He bent his head and sank his fangs into me.
Fire exploded through my body.
Not just pain. Not just pleasure. Something older, brighter, tearing down the middle of me and stitching me back to him. The mark sang through my bloodstream, hot and gold and inevitable, binding us, tying my soul to his so tightly I couldn’t tell where I ended. I screamed his name as I shattered around him, cunt locking down so hard he snarled into my shoulder and kept biting, kept fucking me through it, kept me stuffed full while the bond took.
I came apart on him. Helpless. Shaking. Milking him in frantic little pulses I couldn’t stop.
He still didn’t let go of the bite.
"Fuck— Aria—" His hips jerked. Once. Twice. His control finally broke. "I’m—"
"Come," I sobbed, reaching back to fist his hair, holding his mouth on me. "Come inside me. Fill me. I want to feel you lose it while you’re in my blood."
He followed me with a groan that didn’t sound human.
His hips snapped up and he spilled into me in long, helpless throbs, so much I felt it, hot and deep, flooding me while his fangs were still buried in my shoulder. He didn’t stop biting. He held me there through both our orgasms, through every shake, every pulse, until the waves broke and I collapsed forward, boneless, shivering, his cock still twitching inside me, his mouth still on the wound.
Only then did he let go.
He licked it.
Slow. Soothing. His tongue dragged over the torn, burning mark, and I whimpered, oversensitive, feeling myself drip around him—his come, mine, everything. He pressed his lips to the fresh bite like it was sacred.
"Thank you," he breathed against it. "Thank you for trusting me."
I reached back blindly until I found his cheek. His skin was wet. I didn’t know if it was sweat or tears.
"You’re welcome," I whispered. My voice didn’t sound like mine. "And I’m going to trust you forever, Damian."
He eased out of me.
I felt the loss like a hole. Then I felt the rest of it—thick, warm, sliding down my inner thighs, obscene, proof. His arm stayed around my waist so I didn’t fall. He gathered me up like I weighed nothing and carried me through the dark, my face in his throat, his scent all I could breathe.
The bedroom. Cool sheets. He laid me down and followed, pulling the covers over us, wrapping himself around my back, careful of the mark. It throbbed in time with my heartbeat. Claimed. His.
"I know I don’t deserve you," he murmured into my hair. "But I’m going to spend the rest of my life trying to."
I turned enough to press a kiss to his jaw. My hand found his under the sheets. I dragged it up and put it over the bite, so he could feel the heat of what he’d done.
"You already have me," I said. "And I’m not going anywhere."
