Chapter 880 Twin Swords Strangling
Chapter 880: Chapter 880: Twin Swords Strangling Chapter 880: Chapter 880: Twin Swords Strangling Both men, one holding a sword and the other gripping a spear, continuously unleashed their auras against each other, standing in opposition like two extremes.
Fang Lin’s expression was solemn, and there was not the slightest bit of ease or carelessness in his heart. This was the first time he truly faced a genius martial artist from the Upper Three Countries. Although he was still unclear about the man’s actual strength, this exchange would definitely not be easy.
The man wielding the sword, confident in his higher realm than Fang Lin, struck first. With a wave of his longsword, a fierce sword qi swept forth.
The sword qi carried inner strength within it, exceptionally vigorous and powerful.
Fang Lin scoffed coldly as he thrust out with his Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear. Suddenly, the spectral image of a flood dragon spread out, carrying a tremendous force that clashed with the fierce sword qi.
Boom!!!!!
Fang Lin’s figure shook slightly, but he immediately charged forward with his spear, while the swordsman also moved swiftly. With a single stride, the longsword was already thrusting towards Fang Lin’s face.
Clang!!!
The longsword viciously struck the shaft of the spear, immediately emitting a sound like metal clashing against metal, and a tremendous force transmitted from the longsword.
Fang Lin’s body trembled, involuntarily retreating several steps, whereas the swordsman stood stable as Mount Tai, not moving an inch, his eyes carrying a trace of disdain.
“Is this the extent of your power?” the swordsman said, his words seemingly filled with disdain for Fang Lin.
Fang Lin’s brows furrowed; the man was actually at the eighth level of the Spirit Vein realm and was far from an ordinary martial artist at this level.
The man’s sword intent was extremely heavy, his strikes wide and powerful, truly forceful. Even though Fang Lin possessed formidable physical strength, going head-to-head with him he couldn’t gain any advantage.
“Again!” Fang Lin bellowed, spear in hand as he met the challenge once more. Regardless of how formidable his opponent’s strength was, he harbored not a trace of fear. Instead, his fighting spirit soared.
The man’s lips curled with a mocking sneer, and he increased the force in his longsword, suddenly bringing it down on Fang Lin with a mighty swipe.
This battle was extremely difficult for Fang Lin. Neither in terms of realm nor strength did he hold an advantage, as he was being suppressed by his opponent. It was fortunate that his Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear was sharp enough, not at all inferior to the man’s longsword, or else Fang Lin’s situation would have been even more arduous.
“You’re quite good, but unfortunately your realm is too low!” the swordsman suddenly said in a cold voice, seemingly running out of patience to continue entangling with Fang Lin.
The swordsman’s longsword underwent a One Transformation; from its previous straightforward attacks, it became deceitful and agile, like a venomous snake hiding in the shadows, striking out at Fang Lin from all manner of tricky angles.
Fang Lin initially struggled to adapt to the sudden change in the opponent’s sword technique, feeling somewhat flustered.
Thankfully, he promptly opened his Spirit Eye, using the power of spirit eyes to suppress the swordsman’s movement for a moment, giving Fang Lin time to adjust himself.
“Strong Spirit Eye!” The man finally changed his demeanor, no longer displaying contempt but instead a hint of caution.
Fang Lin’s Spirit Eye posed a threat to the swordsman, who himself didn’t possess such a formidable Spirit Eye. Among many of his peers whom he knew, few had a Spirit Eye as formidable as Fang Lin’s.
“It seems I indeed cannot underestimate you!” the swordsman spoke, as the Spirit Eye on his forehead also opened, although not as powerful as Fang Lin’s, it reached a certain level, affecting the suppression exerted by Fang Lin’s Spirit Eye.
Fang Lin remained silent, his Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear suddenly thrusting forward, its aura continuously rising. A ghostly image of a Flood Dragon could be faintly seen, coiling around the spear.
Seeing this, the swordsman’s longsword also burst forth with a dazzling cold light. Visible to the naked eye, on the blade of the sword, even more strange patterns began to emerge.
“Slash!” The man bellowed, as his longsword flew from his grasp, carrying a chilling aura of death as it struck upon the phantom of the Flood Dragon.
A booming sound followed; the phantom of the Flood Dragon instantaneously dimmed, and the longsword was stalled in its track.
Fang Lin grunted, and even though he blocked the longsword, the force had still impacted him. Despite his strong physique, he felt somewhat overwhelmed.
Just then, the man charged towards him at an incredible speed, wielding another sword in his hand.
Fang Lin swiftly retreated, his Kylin battle armor covering his entire body as he executed the martial arts of the Kylin.
“Scram!” he roared furiously, and the Kylin Fist howled through the air, accompanied by a surge of powerful blood energy.
The man showed no fear, throwing a punch of his own that collided fiercely with Fang Lin’s fist, while his other hand swung the longsword towards Fang Lin’s chest.
But in the next moment, the man’s expression changed completely.
Fang Lin’s chest emitted a surge of black light, like a slab of iron, blocking the descent of the man’s longsword.
And the power behind Fang Lin’s punch was exceptionally astonishing, sending the man stumbling backwards, nearly losing his footing.
“Demon Bone?” The man stared intently at Fang Lin, the black light’s power was definitely from a Demon Bone, and it seemed related to the Kylin.
He naturally wouldn’t believe it was actually a Kylin’s Demon Bone; after all, the Kylin was an exotic beast of ancient times, exceedingly rare and hard to come by. Even a single piece of Kylin Demon Bone was considered a priceless treasure, something not even seen in the Upper Three Countries.
“Seems like you know your stuff!” Fang Lin cracked a smile, and with a wave of his hand, the Mysterious Sea Dragon Spear returned to his possession.
The man took a deep breath, swords in both hands, and his aura felt significantly more formidable than before.
Fang Lin could tell that the man’s two swords were extraordinary, undoubtedly crafted by a skilled artisan.
And now with the two swords in hand, the man’s strength was certainly greater than before.
“I rarely use my twin swords together; you’re quite lucky,” said the man coldly, as a chilling Sword Qi emanated from the swords.
In just a moment, the area was enveloped in Sword Qi, and standing there, Fang Lin felt as if he was in the midst of swords and blades, experiencing a stinging pain all over his body.
“Sword Prison! Slaughter!” the man shouted loudly, simultaneously wielding his swords, they slashed like rain in the wind, like a dragon, like a flood dragon, stirring up a sky full of Sword Qi.
In that instant, within this separate space, it seemed as if all living beings would be shredded to pieces by this dense Sword Qi.
With a grave expression, Fang Lin swiftly slapped his Nine Palace Bag, and eighty-one Pill Furnaces flew out, transforming into an array that protected him from all directions.
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!!!!!!
The Sword Qi relentlessly attacked; although the eighty-one Pill Furnaces had formed into an array, it was extremely difficult to resist, and the fierce Sword Qi soon blasted cracks on the surface of more than a dozen Pill Furnaces.
If this continued, the eighty-one Pill Furnaces would not last much longer before being destroyed by the Sword Qi.
Seeing this, Fang Lin knew that if he continued to hold back, the situation would become even more unfavorable to him, so he decided to use the martial arts of the Supreme Saint Hall.
