The Exiled Lord: My Maid is a Battle Goddess

Chapter 461: The Battle of Bluewater City(2)

Chapter 461: The Battle of Bluewater City(2)

If Firomina looked at everyone as though they were nothing but garbage, then the woman standing before them was her complete opposite.

Their beauty was equally extraordinary, but while Firomina treated everyone with contempt, this woman looked at everyone as if they were her newlywed husband, her eyes filled with affection and irresistible allure.

"Holy crap. Based on my experience, this woman’s combat ability is absolutely terrifying."

"She’s 167 centimeters tall, twenty-four years old, and has an incredible figure. I’d estimate her stamina in bed exceeds forty minutes, and she could probably keep fighting for more than three days straight. Her combat rating has to be at least 8,500!"

Phield was drenched in sweat in an instant.

She was simply an opponent he could never defeat.

"Why aren’t you answering me? Such a cold man." Frenita had no idea what was going through Phield’s dirty mind and mistakenly assumed he was simply aloof.

Phield wiped his nose and made sure he wasn’t having a nosebleed before calmly answering, "The Ross family."

"That mysterious family that keeps mysteriously losing its heirs?" Frenita pondered for a moment. "I remember now. The Starnight family used to be your vassal. No wonder you returned to Nightfall Domain. After all, it’s your territory."

"That’s right."

"You managed to survive in the Northern Province for this long and still have the strength to launch an attack. Your abilities are barely acceptable." Frenita looked Phield up and down, making him feel increasingly uneasy. "I happen to be looking for a beast tamer, and you seem perfect for the job."

"A beast tamer? You have a living artifact. Do you need me to train it?"

Frenita stuck out her tongue and giggled. "I mean taming me. I’m about to reach the Fourth Order, and I need a Corrupted Lord to train me."

"What?"

Phield immediately got goosebumps. Remembering the absurd things this woman had done, he instantly refused.

"Don’t get me struck by lightning."

"Just stay here and keep me company." Frenita smiled sweetly as murderous intent suddenly erupted from her body. "I’ll corrupt you very gently."

As soon as she finished speaking, black demonic energy surged from the delicate demon horns atop Frenita’s head, transforming into two slender cursed blades, one black and one white.

In the blink of an eye, Frenita turned into a series of afterimages, weaving through the layers of soldiers before suddenly appearing directly in front of Phield.

The scent of death mixed with her alluring fragrance rushed toward him. Phield reacted instantly, drawing his rapier to block.

Before their weapons could even clash, another powerful gust of wind came howling toward them.

"Get lost, you filthy cat. Stay away from my lord."

As Phield’s personal guard, Rosalia had been watching Frenita’s every movement with absolute focus.

She stepped forward, cracking the earth beneath her feet. Gripping the chains, Rosalia swung her greatsword violently.

Rosalia was slower than Frenita, but her attacks were extraordinarily sharp.

With a resounding clang, Frenita barely managed to block with her twin blades, sending sparks flying in every direction.

"It’s you? Rosalia, my former sister. No wonder I couldn’t find you. So you betrayed the corruption."

Frenita had been so focused on talking to Phield that she had completely failed to notice Rosalia. She looked at her in confusion.

"You’re still alive... but what do you see in him?"

"Hehe, because I feel like it."

Rosalia proudly planted her hands on her hips before rubbing her smooth chin and pretending to think.

"If you really want to know what I see in Phield..."

She grinned.

"I think he’s delicious!"

"Huh?"

Frenita looked at Phield with a sorrowful expression.

"But I’m the exact opposite. I only like being swallowed."

"Why does the way you two fight feel so completely different from everyone else’s?"

Phield wiped away his cold sweat and could only console himself.

"Corrupted creatures are just like this. Don’t get angry. Don’t get angry."

He quickly forced himself to calm down.

Phield knew perfectly well that corrupted creatures might be completely absurd, but when it came to killing, they never hesitated for even a moment. He absolutely could not allow their nonsense to distract him or let his imagination run wild.

"She has extremely strong mobility. Have the support personnel and high-ranking corrupted corpses form defensive formations and protect themselves."

While observing the battlefield, Phield gathered everyone together and began forming a defensive formation.

Just as Phield expected, Frenita suddenly changed the subject.

"And you too, Ophelia. Traitors deserve to die!"

Frenita vanished instantly and reappeared beside Ophelia, who was concentrating on commanding the battlefield. Her twin blades came crashing down.

The sharp sound of air being torn apart made Ophelia jump in fright. Under the pressure of a Third-Order Divine Chosen, she could barely breathe.

She didn’t dare hesitate.

"Soldiers, surround and kill her!"

Fortunately, as a commander, Ophelia had dozens of Second-Order corrupted corpses surrounding her.

This was where the advantage of having cannon fodder became apparent.

Ten speed-type corrupted corpses had been standing motionless just moments ago. The moment they received the order, they charged forward like savage wolves that had caught the scent of blood.

Frenita stepped forward gracefully, then strangely appeared behind the approaching corpses. Her long blade swept out.

Like cutting through air, the blade sliced through the corrupted corpse’s tough flesh and emerged from the other side, spraying filthy blood across the ground.

A Second-Order corrupted corpse had been killed instantly.

Frenita continued killing with every step.

Ophelia only had ten Second-Order corrupted corpses in total, and every single one of them was wiped out.

Their sacrifice bought everyone enough time to form a defensive formation.

"Damn it! Do you have any idea how difficult it is to collect corrupted corpses?" Ophelia angrily lashed her tail. "Ranged corrupted corpses, turn around and fire at her!"

Ophelia’s corrupted army consisted of one thousand Zero-Order corrupted corpses and one hundred First-Order ranged corrupted corpses.

"We’ve only just warmed up. Why are you in such a hurry?"

Frenita once again transformed into a cloud of black mist. She took several bone spikes head-on, dodged Rosalia’s attack, and then charged straight toward Phield.

Phield had not lowered his guard for even a moment. He had already ordered more than a hundred corrupted corpses to form a defensive circle, with the Divine Chosen below the Third Order standing in the center.

The surrounding corrupted corpses raised their spears and frantically stabbed into the black mist.

Frenita was as fast as lightning, making it virtually impossible to hit her, but the spears still successfully slowed her down.

"Don’t come any closer!"

Firomina immediately unleashed a barrage of golden beams.

"There are too many insignificant pests around. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even have the chance to make so much noise."

Frenita snorted irritably and revealed her true form, effortlessly dodging Firomina’s attacks.

Her seductive eyes had turned ice-cold, sending chills down everyone’s spine.

She nimbly dodged another attack from Rosalia before plunging straight into the forest of spears.

Her twin blades fluttered like butterflies as dazzling arcs of sword light swept across the corrupted corpses.

The heavily armored corrupted corpses were sliced in half by the dozen, but the corpses behind them showed no fear. They immediately stepped forward to fill the gaps, willingly throwing themselves into her blades.

"You’ve pissed me off. You keep jumping around everywhere. You’re so damn annoying."

After missing several strikes, Rosalia immediately prepared to summon the corrupted dragon.

"Rosalia, don’t rush."

Phield glanced at Ashina in the distance, who was currently fighting two Divine Chosen alone, then calmly looked at Frenita.

"I thought you had some kind of teleportation skill. Turns out you can still be blocked by physical obstacles."
