Chapter 137: Chapter 137:Leaving the Monster Camp

Ronan walked through the forest without looking back.

The deeper regions of Monster Camp were still filled with the roars of powerful beasts, and occasionally, a terrifying aura would sweep across the forest as two powerful beings clashed somewhere in the distance.

For the past four months, this place had become almost like a second home to him.

When he first arrived, he had been an Eight-Star Sovereign who could barely survive against some of the stronger creatures on the island. He had fought Hati, battled countless beasts, obtained new traits and abilities, and eventually reached the peak of the Sovereign Realm.

Now, he was only one step away from becoming a King.

But Ronan knew that staying here would no longer give him what he needed.

His Blood Sucking trait had reached a bottleneck.

If he wanted to evolve it, he needed vampires.

And the easiest place to find vampires was the Abyss.

Ronan continued walking until the trees became less dense and the familiar buildings of the Monster Camp appeared in the distance.

Although he rarely returned to the main camp, he still remembered the place well.

The camp had changed greatly over the past four months.

There were fewer people than when he had first arrived, but those who remained were much stronger. The once chaotic groups had become more organized, and the top participants had established their own factions.

Some people were still hunting monsters.

Others were cultivating.

Some had become instructors’ students and rarely left the camp.

Ronan ignored all of them and continued toward the houses.

He soon found the familiar the area where Hesa and Yen were staying. A small house had been built from woods gotten from.the giant trees outside the camp.

Before Ronan could knock, the door opened with Yen heading out.

She stared at him for a moment before her eyes widened.

"Ronan?"

"I need to talk to you two."

Yen stepped aside.

"Come in."

Hesa was sitting inside, cultivating.

The moment she sensed Ronan’s aura, she opened her eyes and looked at him.

Her expression immediately changed.

"You broke through?"

Ronan smiled.

"Nine-Star Sovereign."

Hesa’s eyes widened.

"Already?"

"It’s been four months."

"Four months is not short."

She stood up and looked at him carefully.

"You’re really close to King Realm now."

"Yeah."

Ronan sat down.

"I was planning to stay here until I broke through, but something came up."

Yen immediately became serious.

"What happened?"

Ronan explained the his predicament., his breakthrough to King Realm and how difficult it would be for his as a Ghoul.

When he finished, both women were silent for a moment.

"You need vampires," Hesa said.

Ronan nodded.

"And after the trait evolves, i need to kill a King Realm Vampire Lord."

Yen frowned.

"You’re going back to the Abyss."

"Yes."

Hesa’s expression became complicated.

She remembered their time in the Abyss.

It was where everything had changed.

It was where they had first encountered the vampires, where Ronan had begun obtaining their traits, and where their lives had eventually become completely different.

"You know that place is dangerous, right?" Hesa asked.

"Of course."

"You’ll be looking for Sovereign vampires."

"And possibly a King Realm Vampire Lord."

Ronan nodded.

Hesa stared at him for several seconds before sighing.

"You’re really going."

"I need to."

Yen remained quiet.

She understood better than anyone why Ronan was doing this.

His Blood Sucking trait had always been useful to him, but compared to his other traits, it was now falling behind.

If he could evolve it, his strength would increase again.

And if the system was giving him a quest to kill a King Realm Vampire Lord, there was probably something valuable waiting for him.

Yen stood up.

"We’ll go with you."

Ronan looked at her.

"No."

Both girls frowned.

Ronan continued before they could speak.

"You two need to stay here."

"But—"

"You’re both still growing."

Ronan looked at Hesa.

"You’ve reached Four-Star Sovereign, and you’re still improving quickly. The same goes for Yen."

He then looked at both of them.

"This quest is specifically for me. You don’t need to follow me into the Abyss."

Hesa crossed her arms.

"You’ve always said that we need to grow stronger independently."

"Exactly."

"And now you’re leaving alone."

"Yes."

Hesa sighed.

She could not argue with that logic.

Their relationship had changed greatly since they entered the Monster Camp. They were no longer constantly relying on Ronan to protect them.

They had fought their own battles, formed their own group, hunted their own enemies, and grown stronger because of it.

Following Ronan now would only return them to their old habit of depending on him.

Yen understood that as well.

She walked toward Ronan and leaned closer.

"Just come back alive."

Ronan smiled.

"I will."

Yen nodded.

Hesa looked at him for a moment before speaking.

"And if you find something useful in the Abyss?"

Ronan’s smile widened.

"I’ll take it."

Hesa shook her head.

"Of course you will."

Ronan stood up.

"Then I’ll be leaving."

Neither of them tried to stop him.

They simply watched as he walked toward the door.

Before he left, Hesa suddenly spoke.

"Ronan."

He turned around.

"Don’t underestimate the Abyss."

Ronan looked at her as she spoke.

"The last time we were there, i and yen were already strong enough to fight Sovereigns, and we still nearly died."

"I know."

"Things may be different now."

Ronan nodded.

"That’s exactly why I’m going."

Hesa understood.

The Abyss had stronger creatures.

Stronger races.

More vampires.

And now Ronan had become much stronger than before.

For him, that did not mean danger.

It meant opportunity.

Ronan left the house and disappeared into the distance.

The journey from Monster Camp to the main continent was not short.

The island was located far from the center of the continent, and although powerful Sovereigns could cross the distance through flight, Ronan did not rush.

He flew above the ocean, watching the massive continent slowly grow larger in the distance.

The sight reminded him of the first time he had arrived.

Back then, everything had seemed enormous.

Now, it felt different.

Ronan could travel across the ocean without fear.

His speed had increased tremendously, and his perception allowed him to detect powerful creatures beneath the water long before they came close.

Several times, enormous shadows moved beneath him.

Some possessed King Realm auras.

One even had an aura that made Ronan slow down for a moment.

He did not attack.

There was no reason to waste time fighting creatures that had nothing to do with his quest.

After several hours, Ronan finally reached the main continent.

He landed in a forest and looked around.

The environment immediately felt different from Monster Camp.

The island had been filled with monsters everywhere.

Here, there were signs of civilization.

Roads.

Towns.

Caravans.

Cities.

People.

The continent was enormous, and unlike Monster Camp, countless races lived across it.

Ronan followed the road for a while, occasionally passing humans traveling between towns.

Nobody paid much attention to him.

After all, his appearance was ordinary.

His aura was also restrained.

There was no reason for anyone to suspect that the seemingly ordinary man walking along the road was a Nine-Star Sovereign.

Ronan continued traveling.

He had only one destination in mind.

The Abyss.

But he soon realized that reaching it would not be as simple as he had imagined.

The Abyss was not a small region that could simply be walked into.

It was one of the most dangerous regions on the continent, and the deeper parts were controlled by powerful races.

Ronan stopped at the edge of a town, fore and foremost he need to find a portal.

The only problem was he didn’t really know his way not to talk of the fact that he ran away from the Monster Camp.

Like instructor Kali said, there were no rules, if you were strong enough and needed to leave the camp, no one will stop you, hence why he was okay here but when he came to this continent he found a city nearby.

But he only knew the way back from the island after the few months here and buying a map provided by thr camp itself seeing it then, Ronan knew they wanted them to explore on their own after all each and everyone of them was either a genius or a monster.

Probably both but either way, the map he got only showed the general location of the continent and the islands all around it. It didn’t indicate where the Abyss portals were and with him not knowing the mayor city.

He became lost.

" Alas, I have to bet on my luck".., Ronan muttered with a sigh as he took a step and walked out of the town.

Not knowing where the Abyss portal might be a good thing , he would be able to at least see this continent, how developed it was .

Back on a small continent he already saw trancea of modern life what about now for a more developed middle continent would it be just like modern earth?
