The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2370: The Scarlet King’s new race (I)

Chapter 2370: The Scarlet King’s new race (I)

Anark’s smile widened as he felt the power behind his blows. The Emptiness Lord’s Essence was focused on a single purpose, and its use was limited exclusively to the Primordial Race. Yet, it had still been classified as a Tier Zero Gift by the Samsara Arsenal Module due to the overwhelming strength it granted.

The Primordial Force of the Void under Anark’s domain surged to more than twice its former power. Since this force was the very core of the True Primordial’s battle strength, the increase pushed his combat capability to a level that could genuinely overwhelm the King of the Root.

"Damn it!" Radagon roared as he regained control over his body in a heartbeat, his eyes blazing with fury.

The first time he had clashed with Anark, he had nearly killed the True Primordial with a single blow. Now, he was being pushed back. It was true that he was far from his peak, but he was still the King of the Root.

He could not tolerate being suppressed by a lifeform who was not even the strongest warrior of the universe.

The countless eyes embedded across Radagon’s body glowed as he began channeling the power of the World of the Root into himself through his Gift. His body expanded, muscles swelling as his frame grew larger and stronger, exuding an oppressive aura that crushed the surrounding space.

In the next instant, Radagon kicked the air.

Space shattered.

With monstrous momentum, he lunged toward Anark at terrifying speed, his fists merging into a massive hammer of condensed force as he struck toward the True Primordial.

Yet just as the blow was about to land, a violet vortex manifested around Anark, causing his body to vanish.

Space-time across the surface of the World of the Root was completely sealed by the myriad energies flooding the battlefield. Teleportation should have been impossible.

And yet, Radagon’s eyes did not lie.

Before he could comprehend what had happened, the violet vortex reappeared directly above him. Anark emerged from it with a wide smile, flashing straight down toward Radagon’s back.

The blow carried power that did not merely damage flesh—it struck directly at the soul and essence.

Radagon’s eyes trembled violently as blood poured from his mouth. His massive body was blasted into the ground, smashing into the surface with such force that the surrounding land disintegrated.

Anark’s eyes glowed with thrill and excitement.

The Primordial Force of the Void was not merely destructive. It was the power to surpass all limitations, to erase defenses, and even to twist dimensions themselves. Thanks to the upgrade granted by the Emptiness Lord’s Essence, Anark could now open portals through space-time even when it was sealed by Alpha-Omega Overgod-level energies.

And combined with his ability to regenerate regardless of damage, it allowed the True Primordial to fight with terrifying ferocity.

Without wasting a second, Anark plunged into the ground like a violet meteor, crashing directly into Radagon. The impact obliterated everything around them, sending shockwaves tearing through the surface of the World of the Root.

Of course, Anark did not care about collateral damage.

That was the entire point of this battle.

"BOOOOOM!"

A distant explosion echoed across the battlefield as Robuke managed to clash with Cain and finally disperse the Gate of Babylon. Even so, the Scarlet King remained steady, continuing to hold his ground against the Monster of the Root.

Cain smiled.

Despite the backlash from using the Gate of Babylon, his overwhelming life force allowed him to endure it without issue. However, his expression sharpened as he noticed the hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh beginning to close.

He and Anark had done an exceptional job. Their battles had severely damaged the foundation of the surface layer of the World of the Root. Individually, they were strong enough to remain inside even if the Wall fully closed.

But they were not alone.

The rest of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance did not possess immortal bodies. They could not ignore wounds, nor could they burn life force and soul force without consequence.

Cain wanted to continue the fight. He could feel that the surface would not endure much longer. If they continued their assault, it might collapse entirely. And if they withdrew, the World of the Root would begin healing itself.

It would not fully recover—but it would still set them back significantly.

Yet there was no real choice.

He and Anark could not fight the World of the Root alone.

"Retreat!" Cain commanded.

At those words, the forces of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance showed small smiles of relief. Exhausted but disciplined, they formed tight formations and withdrew, exiting the World of the Root and returning to the void.

Cain and Anark were the last to leave.

As they departed, the duo saw the hatred and rage burning in the eyes of the warriors of the Root. The damage caused by the two of them alone far exceeded that of all other battles combined.

That was because they had forced the fight onto the ground itself.

The Scarlet King stared at Robuke until the hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh finally closed. Only then did he turn toward the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

Their eyes were filled with awe and disbelief.

They had witnessed Cain’s power explode to a terrifying new level. His defenses had reached such an overwhelming degree that they doubted they could even pierce his skin.

Cain merely smiled at their expressions and ordered them to begin healing before returning to the Everstrife Empyrean World.

The battle had not wounded him severely. Though he had burned both life force and soul force, the damage could be healed with ease.

That allowed Cain to focus on something far more important.

"If I want to win," he thought, "I need to increase the power of those around me."

A meaningful, dangerous light appeared in Cain’s eyes as an idea took shape.

The idea of a new race.
