Chapter 815: Chapter 750: Night Visit_3

Is it control, or elimination?

Thinking of this, Xia Wenjin’s gaze towards the woman in front of her instantly became wary.

Xia Wenjin whispered, "Who are you?"

The woman said, "I am..."

"No matter who you are, stay put!" Xia Wenjin suddenly struck.

Since this person came to the Cheng Prince Mansion by night, they must have an agenda. It doesn’t matter what it is, capturing them first is the priority. Then let Prince Cheng and Huangfu Jingchen decide what to do!

Her sudden attack had an element of surprise, but the opponent’s martial arts were too strong. She didn’t have absolute confidence in winning, so she could only seize the initiative.

The woman didn’t anticipate Xia Wenjin would attack so suddenly, but faced with Xia Wenjin’s storm-like offensive, she didn’t panic.

The two exchanged more than ten moves quickly, and the woman murmured, "Who are you?"

Xia Wenjin’s heart paused. Who was she? It was a difficult question to answer. Thankfully, the one asking wasn’t from the Prince Mansion.

She had asked the same question a moment ago, and the other party hadn’t answered either, right?

Xia Wenjin grumbled, "I’ll hold you here, then I’ll tell you who I am!"

The woman retreated several steps, but her movement technique was as graceful as willow fluff. Even in retreat, she didn’t seem embarrassed and found time to ask Xia Wenjin curiously, "We’re both here for a night visit. Why are you capturing me?"

"Obviously because you’re up to no good!"

The woman widened her eyes, "How do you know I’m up to no good? Could it be you’re projecting your own intentions onto me?"

Xia Wenjin didn’t answer, responding instead with even more relentless attacks.

The woman frowned, "Since you refuse to say, it seems I have to take you down first before we can have a proper discussion!"

The woman’s body lightly touched a tree trunk, and she pounced towards Xia Wenjin like a swimming fish.

Xia Wenjin sensed the power in her move and focused her attention.

Neither used weapons, but their attacks were extremely precise and dangerous, both seeking to subdue the other.

If an outsider were present, they would only find the fight between the two extraordinarily graceful, with movements elegant, due to their highly refined movement techniques.

In a flash, the two had exchanged dozens of moves.

During their exchanges, they had to restrain themselves to avoid attracting the attention of the Prince Mansion’s guards.

But as they fought, Xia Wenjin felt something was off. Even though they were restraining the fight as much as possible, it was still a fight, and no matter how quiet, there would be some noise. How was it that no one from the Prince Mansion had come out?

Was the Prince Mansion without guards?

Shouldn’t Prince Cheng and Huangfu Jingchen notice something was amiss?

On the rooftop of the pavilion on the right side of the Prince Mansion, in a place not easily visible, a voice spoke softly, "Not intervening?"

Another voice answered, "Intervene for what? Don’t worry, she knows her limits!"

The first voice said, "What if there’s a misunderstanding?"

"What misunderstanding could there be? A trivial matter. Quick, look at this move, amazing!"

...

The two watched the fight, occasionally murmuring quiet praises for the refined movement techniques.

Xia Wenjin swept aside her opponent’s move with her sleeve, quickly spun her body, and dodged a palm strike. Her sense of unease grew, and she whispered, "What did you do to the Cheng Prince Mansion?"

Could it be drugs?

Silently administering mixed drugs at night could explain why despite fighting for so long, there was no disturbance from the Prince Mansion.

The woman’s eyes showed a hint of a smile as she said, "What else would I do? Naturally, something to ensure they wouldn’t be a hindrance!"

As expected, Xia Wenjin thought, considering Huangfu Jingchen’s martial arts, there was no way he wouldn’t sense something happening here. Xia Wenjin’s heart sank. If it was only mixed drugs, that was one thing, but what if it was poison?

No longer did she want to wrestle in combat, her eyes now held a murderous intent. She flipped her wrist, and a sharp dagger appeared in her hand, her voice low and gritted, "Initially, I thought you were just a petty thief, but since you’re a tool of those vile people, I won’t hold back!"

With a dagger in her hand, Xia Wenjin was like a fierce tiger descending from the mountains or a nimble ape, the dagger’s white light flickering as it slashed towards the woman like a sweeping gust of wind!

The woman widened her eyes, muttering, "We were clearly fighting empty-handed, and you use a weapon, that’s not fair!"

Worrying over what might have happened to the people in the Prince Mansion, fearing they’ve already been harmed, and suspecting this woman might have accomplices, Xia Wenjin did not halt her assault. Her voice, however, carried a chilling coldness, "If anyone from the Cheng Prince Mansion is harmed, I will flay you alive. So what if it’s not fair?"

She certainly wasn’t someone who clung to superficial honor or concerned herself with useless gentlemanly conduct!
