The dragon's harem
Chapter 2316: Arad’s Hibernation XXVIII
The Accursed Spirit smiled as she looked at Akasha’s dried body. “This is the end for you.” She then looked toward the room’s entrance where Ginger and the other vampires stood. The moment they realize that Akasha died, they’ll swarm her. Right now, she was out of all energy, and she probably wouldn’t even be able to fend off a regular B-ranker.
First, she has to turn off her Elemental Expansion and try to absorb a bit of that elemental energy to keep her going for a while. She needs to run as far away as possible so they won’t chase her.
But the moment she went on to try to turn off her Elemental Expansion, she noticed something strange, something horrifying. Pressure.
Akasha’s Elemental Expansion was still up and brimming with energy, pushing against her with the same steady and relaxed waves of power. That could only mean one thing, and the Accursed Spirit’s head cracked as she rapidly turned around and glared at Akasha’s dried husk with a horrified face.
“Told you, didn’t I? I’m immortal.” Akasha spoke, but her skin was already as pale as snow, her hair slowly losing its color and turning white, and the same was happening to her eyes as they faded to blue.
“It can’t be! I destroyed your body and all of your blood.” The accursed spirit stared at the ground, where she couldn’t see a single drop of blood belonging to Akasha’s Blood Sea. “You’re a vampire! It doesn’t matter even if you were a Blood Lord; this should at least knock you out for a month.”
Akasha sat down as her body rehydrated from the Accursed Spirit’s rain, and in just five seconds, she looked like a completely different person as her eyes, skin, and hair had changed color.
“True, my vampire blood is quite injured now.” As Akasha looked at the accursed spirit while sitting down, the spirit paled.
“Wait… that hair and those eyes… you’re a High Human?” She started backing away, and Akasha looked at her with a passive face.
“I never told you my full name, did I?” She slowly lifted one hand, pointing a finger up as she stood.
“Akasha Lisworth.”
Hearing that name, the Accursed Spirit immediately knew that she was fucked before the fight even started. Lisworth wasn’t a name that anyone could proclaim, as it belonged to the former Overgod.
[Elemental Expansion:…] Even though Akasha’s first Elemental Expansion Blood Sea was still active, she was immediately trying to cast a second elemental expansion on top of it, which was a feat that not even the gods should be able to achieve.
[…: Infinite Maze]
Pure whiteness erased the entire room and swallowed the Accursed Spirit, teleporting her to a whole other dimension of existence. At first, she was in the room; then, in a single blink, she was already in a strange world.
The room she appeared in was massive, one kilometer wide to be exact, purely white, and square in shape. The room had a circular hatch on each of its walls, ceiling, and floor, which led to a similar empty white room, and that stretched to infinity in every direction.
“This world stretches infinitely. It is indestructible, and inside it, you won’t age or die, but you’ll still feel hunger and every other sensation. This is your last warning: submit, or I’ll leave you here until you break apart.” As Akasha appeared sitting across the room from the Accursed Spirit, the Accursed Spirit growled and flew at her.
But the moment the Accursed Spirit swung her fist, Akasha was already gone, leaving her stranded alone in that endless white world. It didn’t matter how much the Accursed Spirit screamed or cursed; the world remained the same, just as white and empty, and Akasha never showed up again for a whole year.
When Akasha showed up again in front of the Accursed Spirit a year later, she could already see her looking both mentally and physically drained by the sensory deprivation, lack of stimulation, and the pain of hunger, thirst, and boredom.
Akasha looked the same. She had the same white hair, blue eyes, wore the same clothes, and even sat in the exact same position, with her hair just as wet.
“Had enough?” Akasha asked, and the spirit growled. “Fine, I got it. I submit; get me out of here.”
Akasha pointed at her. “Then strip naked and lay on your back, keep your mouth open. Since you haven’t eaten in a while, I’ll give you something warm and fresh.”
“What?” As the Accursed Spirit gasped, Akasha sighed. “So you didn’t get enough?” Then without saying another word, she disappeared. Leaving the Accursed Spirit screaming and crying for her to come back.
The next year, Akasha didn’t show up, and she didn’t show up the year after either, causing the Accursed Spirit to slowly descend into madness. Only nine years later, with the Accursed Spirit having spent ten whole years locked in here, did Akasha show up.
Instinctively and without even thinking, the Accursed Spirit stripped down and laid on the floor, not saying a word. Akasha looked at her with a smile. “Good, it seems that you can learn. Since you acted on your own, I’ll give you a tip. If I leave this time, I’ll only come back ninety years later.”
Akasha stood and approached her. “So I expect you to be quite obedient. Don’t worry, it isn’t that hard.” She looked at her, lifted her foot, and crushed her fingers with a single stomp. The spirit screamed, but she didn’t resist.
After breaking all of the Accursed Spirit’s fingers and toes, she could tell that she was obedient enough. So she sat on her chest and looked at her face. “Care to tell me your life’s story?”
The Accursed Spirit started talking, and Akasha listened and wrote everything down. When she was done, she finally looked at the Accursed Spirit’s face. “You want to get out?”
“Yes.” She replied immediately, and Akasha tapped her on the head.
“Fine, I’ll get you out. But I’ve got a few conditions.” Akasha turned the Accursed Spirit on her back and wrote a whole permanent slave contract on her back, and even infused it with blood magic to make it even stronger. After that was done, she bit the Accursed Spirit, drank all of her blood, and vampirised her, turning her into her Blood Slave.
As Akasha finished drinking the Accursed Spirit’s blood, her hair and eyes finally turned red again, and she smiled as she stood. “Good, now I, too have my obedient servant. I wonder how Eris would react; even she doesn’t have such a powerful spirit under her.”
She stood, and so did the Accursed Spirit. At that moment, Akasha flicked her fingers, and they were back in the same room they had been fighting in before. Not a single minute had passed outside.
As Akasha appeared with Accursed Spirit, all of the Vampire Paladins were ready to fight, but Akasha just waved her hand to them. “I won, you don’t have to fight anymore.”
Why didn’t Akasha pull this on Arad before? He sucked her blood and turned her into his Vampire Spawn at the same time he took her power. That’s why she never had the chance to disobey him.
If he simply tried to drain her blood and didn’t enslave her to his blood, she would’ve pulled this on him at that moment.
