When Merlin was done with Molana’s glands, the poor succubus wood elf was left twitching and shivering, a strange sensation of numbness and dull pain engulfing her entire body from head to toe.

Merlin had burned all of her aphrodisiac glands, which were as spread around her entire body as sweat glands are on humans, and that had left Molana’s purple skin looking a bit pinkish.

"She looks fried." Dalla commented and Merlin shrugged. "You bet, but she’ll regenerate the damage in a few days. But for today, she’ll be perfectly fine." Merlin smiled. "I also erased all of the aphrodisiac in the air, so you can breath normally now."

Dalla took a deep breath, coughed at how stale the air was, and then cleared her throat. "Then, I’ll make sure she rests a bit and get her read for Arad. What will you do?"

Merlin looked back at the curtain, shivered, and then lifted her wizard robe, showing Dalla her drenched underwear. "Hearing that elf Kolara moan and scream... It’s making me hot. I really want to go there, kick her aside, and have Arad pleasure me instead."

She then let her robe drop. "But... I got work to do. Eris headed out, and I want to go and support her. It’ll also give me a chance to learn a few spells and test the big ones." She took a step forward and disappeared, quickly appearing right behind Eris outside the universe.

"Sorry, did I miss something?" Merlin asked, and Eris looked back at her with a smile. "No, you didn’t miss anything. The angels are getting ready, and the abomination should be showing up soon."

Merlin looked around her and saw the endless silver crust of the universe being filled with untold billions of armored angels. Most of them were Amaterasu’s and Yog’s armies, with a small few who belonged to Eris. Merlin herself had nothing besides her own body and magic.

"Eris..." Amaterasu called from far above, where she sat on her white cloud. "Those bugs are approaching from your 78:145 degrees. Blast them away; you’ve got an hour." She looked down and waved her hand, and Eris cracked her neck.

The coordination Amaterasu gave her was both simple and complicated. While standing on the surface of the universe’s crust, she has two half-circles around her body: one that extends from behind her to the front is the X, and one that extends from her left to her right is the Y. The degrees are the inclination, so imagining that, she could aim right toward where the abominations were coming from.

Straight up is 90:90 for example.

"An hour, that’s plenty." Eris smiled and looked at Merlin. "What’s Arad doing?"

Merlin grinned. "Remember that girl Kolara? I showed you her face. Right now, he is making sure she won’t walk for the next few days. I really wanted to slack off a bit and have fun myself, but as you can see, I came right in time."

She looked toward the direction of the abomination, and all of the angels looked toward it as well. Eris’s own angels were ready to fight; some of them were even soldiers in the army of war, so they’d been itching to return to the front lines, but many of Amaterasu’s own angels, and especially her archons, refused to acknowledge Eris as a commander.

Usually, it would take a god centuries to be allowed to take a lead position, and much more to become a commander under regular gods, much less under Amaterasu herself.

Eris had only recently become a goddess, so it didn’t make sense, and even those who sensed her fight with Arad couldn’t tell if she had the power or qualification to stand above the season Archons of Stars.

Eris started floating, and so did Merlin behind her. "What shall we do? Lead the army, or just wipe them out?" Merlin asked, and Eris smiled. "I’ll wipe them out on my own. Gotta put on a show. You protect everyone from me; I’m going to let everything out."

"Amaterasu won’t protect them?" Merlin lifted an eyebrow, and Eris giggled. "She’ll let them burn. So keep them safe for me." She then disappeared, and Merlin cast a massive barrier over the entire army, one that was massive enough to even surprise Amaterasu’s archons, as they had only seen Yog use such a level of magic before.

Then, in the very next second, a violent roar tore the empty void above them, and everyone started up, and they would’ve been blinded if not for Merlin’s barrier filtering the excess light.

It was blinding, bright white with a faint blue and purple tint, surrounded by a violent cloud of plasma, and roaring like a thousand beating drums. A Neutron star almost forty kilometers wide had spawned in the middle of the void, and it was spinning at several hundred times a second, swinging two massive jets of destructive energy.

"A Pulsar!" One of the archons gasped, and another one immediately corrected, "No, worse, that’s a Magnetar."

The sheer power of the newborn Magnetar’s magnetic field was enough to evaporate all of the approaching abominations that got near its range, and those that survived soon got struck by the roaring beams of energy, getting erased as the star spun and swung those titanic two beams all over the place.

Amaterasu smiled, and Yog laughed, but the angels and archons all started up in shock. Such a level of power from a goddess who was less than a year old was horrifying. Where did she get all of that power, and how in the nine hells could she just summon a Magnetar and control it? That should be impossible.

They were right; Eris can’t control the Magnetar. The best she could do was summon it in the abominations’ path and hope for the best. What was worse? She can’t move it. And that weakness was quickly drawn to light as two extremely powerful abominations managed to endure the magnetic field, dodged the beams, and rushed right toward the Magnetar to destroy it.

If they did that, Eris would be severely wounded and weakened. "You’re up." She growled, and a deep rumbling voice replied. "Yes Mother."

Ten titanic black wings swallowed the void as two muscular arms rushed forward, caught the charging abominations by the heads, and tore them to pieces. The archons and angels below could clearly see the words written above. "Be Afraid."

One of the archons gasped. "That’s... an archon? She has an archon at such a young age?"

"No..." One of the older archons mumbled, sweating. "Something is off... his aura doesn’t belong to any god; it doesn’t even belong to her. He... fuck! Is that an Archangel?"

Baal immediately flew into the void and finished off what little abominations were left before returning to Eris, who had just finished swallowing the Magnetar to recycle its energy.

"Are they gone?" Eris asked, and Baal nodded. "Every last one of them. This area should be safe for now." He threw a long gaze toward where Amaterasu was, and she just smiled back.

As Eris and Baal returned, they landed right where Merlin was, and all of Amaterasu’s archons just stared at them, many of them wondering where did Eris even find an Archangel.

Baal gave Eris’s angels one stare, smiled, and waved his hand at them. "Fight well, or die well!" He then approached Eris, knelt in front of her, and looked up. "Dear Mother, I’ll be going now. Call me if you need my help."

Eris smiled. "I’ll do that. Thank you Baal, you bailed me out of that one."

He smiled, "Don’t ever mention it again, I’ll always help." and with those words, he faded away just as quickly as he appeared.

Merlin looked at her with a smile. ^Plan worked fine, now that was a good show. I wonder when Arad can make it here to us.^
