Chapter 773 - 408: Lost

No matter what it was, his Heavenly Dao Laws would tear it apart—even space itself. What he faced now were merely rays of light.

Sword shadows erupted from Tian Fulai. Just as he expected, the rays of light were severed before they could reach him, completely unable to touch his body. But soon, his expression changed.

He suddenly discovered that the rays of light were endless, a continuous, inexhaustible stream. Even when his Heavenly Dao Laws severed and tore them apart, new rays would instantly generate from the others, relentlessly continuing their dense assault.

Points of light flickered like stars in the sky, making it impossible to pinpoint their exact locations. Yet, the rays of light were generated ceaselessly.

He was trapped!

Meanwhile, Yang An stood like a spectator, a smile on his face as he watched quietly from beyond the countless rays of light.

The tables had turned in an instant. This scene stunned all the onlookers.

Tian Fulai’s expression grew uglier. He swung his blade faster and faster, countless afterimages seeming to pour from his body. But the light rays were also generated with increasing speed, trapping him completely within a curtain of light that seemed to blanket the world.

It was just as Yang An had said. He couldn’t sever these rays of light. Even when he tore space itself, the light simply continued its path, completely unaffected. He, on the other hand, couldn’t stop swinging his blade for even a moment, or the light would find an opening.

Since he began cultivating, Tian Fulai had faced countless dangers, but never had he felt such a sense of powerlessness.

’But who am I? I am Tian Fulai!’

Tian Fulai suddenly tightened his grip on the blade. He swiped his left hand across the Invisible Blade, and in an instant, the distorted, flame-like weapon exploded into countless fragments.

He had mastered the Power of Heavenly Dao Laws to its very limit. Before the fragments could completely disintegrate, they unleashed an even more terrifying force, instantly erasing all the surrounding rays of light.

Seizing the opportunity, Tian Fulai shot out from the now-empty encirclement, rushing toward Yang An. In that brief moment before the light could regenerate, at the cost of shattering his own Power of Laws, he had finally broken free.

But at that exact moment, a figure abruptly appeared before him. Moving faster than he was, the figure threw a punch that landed squarely on Tian Fulai.

The two figures collided in a flash. Out of the void, countless rays of light were born once more, instantly piercing through Tian Fulai’s body.

Tian Fulai’s hand froze in front of Yang An, his eyes filled with utter disbelief.

Even though he had broken out of the encirclement, the rays of light had reappeared without any warning, catching him completely off guard.

He tried to form another Seal Decision to use the Power of Celestial Dao Laws, but with a casual flick of Yang An’s hand, dense specks of light appeared all over Tian Fulai’s body. The move instantly interrupted him, leaving him unable to even budge.

"You’ve lost."

Yang An looked at him calmly and spoke two words Tian Fulai had never expected to hear.

"No!"

A crazed look flashed in Tian Fulai’s eyes. An Invisible Blade materialized in his hand once more, and he struggled desperately to break free from the countless rays of light piercing his body.

’Whether Tian Fulai admits it or not, he’s already lost.’ Yang An had no reason to prolong the fight. By breaking the Rules, Tian Fulai had ensured that their guardians would come to deal with him.

Long before Tian Fulai had even appeared, Yang An’s own senses had spread out and detected the two auras atop the Golden Summit.

’Unless it’s absolutely necessary, I’d rather not kill someone in front of all these people.’

’But if no one steps in, I don’t mind being ruthless.’

He gave Tian Fulai one last look. ’The guy is strong, but it’s a pity he ran into me.’

’From this moment on, his position will be mine.’

Yang An prepared to leave. It was unlikely anyone else would jump out to challenge him now.

But as he glanced at Tian Fulai, his gaze froze.

He saw that a trace of an aura—one he was very familiar with—had somehow appeared on Tian Fulai’s Invisible Blade.

At the same time, Tian Fulai’s expression grew increasingly strange.

"You’re the one who lost!"

He seemed strangely rational, yet all the more crazed for it. The blade in his hand, formed from the Heavenly Dao Laws, was turning black at a visible rate, as if stained by Ink.

But just as he raised his hand to slash down at Yang An...

In a flash, before the blade could fall, a muffled grunt escaped Tian Fulai’s lips as if he had been struck by lightning.

Yang An had somehow appeared right in front of him, barely a step away.

Fresh red blood gushed like a stream, spraying into the air and creating a thick mist of blood.

Yang An’s right hand was now covered in blood, while his left was gripping a severed arm that had already turned black. He stared at Tian Fulai with a vicious expression.

Just as a question was about to escape his lips, he seemed to sense something. His expression quickly composed itself, returning to normal.

Two figures arrived almost simultaneously, appearing on the high platform outside the arena. But even their arrival couldn’t shake the onlookers from the shock of what they had just witnessed.
