Day 53 (Cont)

"OH! These baths are amazing! Lina dear, you're amazingly lucky! To think that rotten nest of goblins has somehow turned into this... this... paradise! I could live here forever!" Mail said, enjoying this pool of water Lina called a hot tub. They were here with a couple of her female retainers, while the other ten survivors enjoyed swimming in the pool or were receiving a massage from a couple of the other human women who seemed to staff the mansion.

"I had a rough road to get here, but yes. I have been truly blessed since Lord Wayne saved us." The woman replied, her tone conveying the pain she had endured in the past.

"Oh... I'm sorry... I didn't-" She stumbled, not wanting to insult this woman. It would be rude of her to insult her host's servants, no matter what their race was. Not to mention, she was a survivor of the very thing that she was ready to kill herself to avoid. If anything, she felt compassion and sympathy for this woman's past, and respect for her tenacity to survive despite it.

"It's fine. Most of us have made our peace with the past and moved on. Personally, I can't wait to present him with his children in a couple of weeks." The small woman replied, rubbing her distended belly.

"Really? You’re carrying his children?"

"Yes. Several of us are. And no, Ogre or not, he didn't rape us. We care for him so much we offered ourselves to him willingly."

That surprised her even more. The more she heard about this Lord, the more interesting he became. "May... may I touch it?"

"My belly? Of course. I still have a ways to go, but there are two babies growing in there."

"What about Lady Wayne? I assume she is aware. Do your people follow polygamy here?" She asked, gently rubbing the bump. It was firm, and she swore she could feel magic inside of this woman. On closer inspection, she could tell that her children both already had fully developed magic circuits.

I have never heard of this happening before. Is this because the Lord is an ogre? No, that doesn't make any sense. Most ogres are not highly magical; rather, they are brutes with more muscles than brains. Clearly something else is going on.

"Well... Yes, we do, but the Lord is very picky about who he considers his wives. I'm little more than his concubine in that aspect, though I am a senior priestess in charge of the church we are founding to worship him and Lady Wayne, and the deities that they have been blessed by."

"He is blessed by more than one god? And Lady Wayne as well?" She said, not expecting to have been given the answer right away.

"Yes. I will spare you the details, as they are not mine to share, but three of the four greater gods have blessed them and this village. Not to mention that mana pool we healed you and your people in was created by Riana, a Dorian of great power, and Lady Wayne, powered by Lord Wayne's energy. We may be small, but this village has more power inside of its walls than many human nations. With time... we are hoping to have a nation where all beings can live in harmony, regardless of race. As long as they can follow the rules as laid out by our lord, one and all are welcome here."

"I see... I take it that is why she said my people would have to become part of this village if they sought refuge here and our army lost."

"Well... your people are... just as bad as mine are at accepting other races as equals. Even when we brought peaceful demihumans like beastfolk into our towns, they are treated like second-class citizens at best. Usually, they are just enslaved."

"We don't usually allow outsiders to live with us at all... We barely tolerate visitors... though that is changing. It has to change, or else we will all wither away."

"You don't sound like a stereotypical Elf. Are you... just being nice because you are under our roof? Wait, that was rude; you don't need to answer that, I'm very sorry, Lady Mail."

"No, it's a valid question, albeit a hard one. My father is... more progressive than many other elves, and I would like to think I follow his example. That said, we still have a long way to go to influence our people to change. I just hope we have time to see that happen."

"I hope so as well."

"Ahh! They kicked!"

"Heh, they did. Have you not had much experience with pregnant women?"

"Not really. You may not know this, but elves have a notoriously low birthrate, though no one is truly sure why. Our healers say that our bodies are only fertile a few times a year, usually during the solstices and equinoxes, and even then, conception can be quite difficult. Some say it's the price of our longevity; others say it is because our race is failing, doomed to fade away from the world as the other races take over.

Once, long ago, we were more like the humans, with towns and cities dotting the land. Now, after facing calamity after calamity, we have been forced into the trees, back to our ancestral homes, as humans, demons and beast folk rule the lands we once did. Now the humans are advancing again, prepared to wipe us out because we refuse to sell them one of our sacred healing potions."

"Why don't you swallow your pride and sell it to them? Seems like an odd thing to die over, mainly when you have a difficult time repopulating as it is."

"Ancient Oaths prevent us from selling it to a human. While my father and I would give it to them immediately and be done with this, the council is preventing us from doing so. We don't have the votes to see it happen, so we must prepare for war instead."

"Oh. Your father is the chief, but can be overruled by this council?"

"Yes. We spread our leader's power around so one person cannot unilaterally decide the fate of our people. Usually, that is seen as a good thing, but right now... I'm not so sure."

"I understand. Maybe upon his return, Lord Wayne can offer you another solution."

"Hah, I can only hope that is the case; else I'm afraid my people's days are at an end. Do you think..."

"Do I think what?"

She sighed. "Do you think Lord Wayne would fight for my people if I offered him my hand in marriage? I am still young, only 115, and have my maidenhead intact." It would be a political marriage, but even without meeting him, she found this ogre very intriguing. If these members of Clan Wayne came to her people's rescue, she would happily live here as one of his women for the rest of his days.

I mean, he is an ogre; they can live what? Fifty years at most? What is fifty years when I may live to be over five hundred? He seems to care for his people, and they love him in return. I can respect that, and perhaps something more would blossom between us in time.

Surprisingly, the human woman chuckled at that. "What's so funny?"

"My dear, you will have to get in line. Five others are waiting to marry him, four of whom rescued you and your people. And as far as I'm aware, all but one still has their virginity intact. So while that is a plus in your favour and speaks well for your morals, that isn't something our Lord seems overly concerned with."

Distraught at the news, Mail sank deeper into the bath, wondering if she would actually turn into an old hag if an Ogre turned her down.

Distant Mountains

(Aqua PoV)

"Umm... Hi... What are you doing?" She said weakly, completely forgetting how she wanted to start this conversation.

"I'm on a Stag." He said, smiling down at her with an almost animalistic grin on his face. He looked like he was ready to devour her.

She gulped, realizing her chastity was in severe danger right now.

"I... see that. Rou, what are you doing out here in the wilderness?"

"One moment. Let me join you first." He said, kicking one of his massive legs over the massive stag's back and sliding down its flank. He then scratched its neck and stared into its golden eyes for a moment before slapping it lightly. The beast backed off a few steps, then sprang away from the lake, quickly disappearing over the horizon with just a few bounds.

Rou then slowly walked into the lake and, much to her surprise, picked her up and carried her deeper into the water. She didn't get a blast of cold air as she'd expected; instead, she was enveloped in a bubble of warm air that kept her from shivering. He sat down on something she couldn't see and placed her on his lap. She could feel his hard cock lying between her butt cheeks, but he pulled her tight to his body as he lay back like he was in a recliner, both of their heads just above the water's surface. His hands didn't wander to her breasts; instead, they rested on her belly respectfully.

"Are you comfortable?" He asked her, his chin resting on top of her head between her two little horns.

"Yes. Now... can you answer my question... please?"

"Well, as you might have guessed, I've been busy."

"Busy? Busy! Do you have any... sorry. Please... tell me. What have you been doing, and what kept you away? We were worried sick."

"We?"

"Yes... Well, no, I was more worried than anyone else. Everyone else seems to have taken your absence in stride, pushing themselves to become better, to prove to you that they are worth being one of your wives. Unlike me...I've been overwhelmed with your work and haven't been able to get my own done because of it. Not to mention you left me with your sister to deal with, a crazy dragon lady to hide from said sister, overseeing Jean's progress, continued construction of the village, and dealing with the elves."

"I saw that. I think you handled them very well. You could have delved a little deeper into Mail's motivations for wanting to see me, but other than that, I give you top marks for becoming Lady Wayne."

"You know about that... I'm sorry, but I needed to play-"

"It wasn't play. It is who you are now. You're one step away from becoming my wife in this world; you just need to take it if you want it."

"Your...wife. Would you have an idiot like me as your wife? Wouldn't Mi be the better choice? Or someone else like Lina?"

"Darlin', stop calling yourself an idiot! You have your strengths, and you've been working on mitigating your weaknesses. As for my choices, other women may- no, will join us... I suspect that if I want our nation to flourish, I'll need to make several political marriages to maintain the peace, or we will have war on our hands. However, you and I have a bit more history than that. You're not the same as the woman I first met; you have grown since that day we found ourselves together on the Parallel World, grown into someone I truly care for, even with your faults."

"Rou... do you mean it?"

"I do. And it's not Rou... not right now. Call me by my actual name, John."

It was as if a lightning bolt struck her, hearing his name, his real name again.

Right... I am not Sui... I'm Aqua... I'm Aqua... No... my true name is...

She spun around, placing her forehead on his. "John... I, Aquanell Fi Diamodred, a former Goddess of Healing and Water, wish to become your wife if you'll accept me. I will love you forever, in this world and the next, until the stars burn out and time stops for all."

"And I, John Suzy Wayne, accept your wish, Aquanell Fi Diamondred. Until death finds us, let us build a life together throughout the omniverse."

She felt his hand move up to her head as he pulled her in for a kiss. She parted her lips as his tongue entered her mouth. She wrestled with it for a moment before giving up, submitting herself to this powerful man, a man whom she just...

Her eyes snapped open in alarm.

Did we just get married!!!

"MMMMMRRRRPPPPHHHH!!!!" She screamed, realizing that everything she wanted to say had just been steamrolled by her lust at the situation she found herself in.

"Is something wrong?" He said, pulling back from her and looking concerned.

"Everything is wrong! I didn't come here for this. I wanted this; I want you. This. But you're hurt. I want to help. I want to be there for you. I want your burdens, to be your shoulders. To use my ears if you will have them... ARGH!!! This isn't coming out right!!!" She yelled, burying her face into his broad chest, pounding him with her fist. "And you avoided answering my question and tricked me into becoming your wife by saying your real name. You big meanie! What in the world have you been doing!!!"

"That's what you're worried about? Well, once I left to let off some steam, I had a date. A date with Destiny..." He said, a very punchable grin forming on his face.

 "Huh? A Date?!?!?"

On a Stage in the Omniverse

Alec was really enjoying this unexpected side show.

"Really, Fate? You just couldn't just leave my reward world alone, could you?" The woman growled, hands on her hips and glaring down at Fate, who was still sitting in the chair beside him. She was a middle-aged beauty, with long brown hair and a fairly fit body. Like one would assume Fate was Morgan Freeman at a glance, people would assume Sandra Bullock was now on stage as well.

"You keep rewarding psychopaths with that place, Destiny. I figured it… was time that that world had a… a good guy for a change." Fate replied with a bit of a stutter, clearly intimidated by Destiny.

"Tsk! Seriously? A good guy is just going to get killed there. Sure, this John fellow has made a decent start, but that was because of all of the abilities he had from Alec's show here. He is going to be destroyed if he doesn't start devouring everyone as a proper monster should."

"Maybe, but I think he might surprise you."

"And these weapons? You didn't even let him have his tools from DEN. Did you think that would make it better or something?" She gestured to all of John's gear leaning against one of the Doors, out of the way of the cesspit the DEN stage had become over the last couple of months of them just enjoying the show.

"Well, I figured you would be less annoyed if he didn't start charging around your world in a couple of machines several thousand years beyond that world's tech level, or a sword that he could literally bend reality with if he figures out how to unlock its true power."

"Seriously? Yet you let him have a house with technology and knowledge from Earth's late twentieth century? At this point, he might as well have all those goodies. This iteration of that world is a write-off now."

"The house was a mistake on my part. I said he couldn't take his weapons and armour. I didn't think about a house."

"Damn you, Fate. You better be back home when I get back. You and I will have some words in private." She said, turning towards the Doors.

"And where are you going?" Fate asked, finally standing up.

"I'm going into that world to meet with this John. Explain a few things to him. Hell, if you stay here and watch long enough, maybe I'll cuck you too."

"You wouldn't!"

"You fucked with my things, dearest husband. I don't ask for much, do I? Maybe watching me make love to your pawn there will make you realize the errors of your ways."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Alec said, interjecting into the conversation for the first time since Destiny joined them on the DEN stage.

"And why is that?" She said, rounding on him with a withering glare.

"Because his wife would erase you if you didn't get her permission first."

"Oh... you mean..." She said, her expression turning from anger to worry.

"Yeah. So, whatever you do, play nice. I won't be able to stop her."

"Fine." She said, then turned back to Fate. "You! Home! Now!"

"Yes, Dear."

"And you, Alec, stop messing with my worlds without telling me! You know I wouldn't tell you no; you just need to warn me!"

"A little chaos is the spice of life."

"Grrr... using my words against me again. You know, if it wasn't for being intertwined with this guy, I think we would have made a great couple."

"Hah, maybe, Hon, but even I have my limits. Destiny may be able to defy Fate, but I don't think she would do very well trying to defy me."

"I'm still here, you know," Fate said, acting perturbed at his wife's words.

"Which you shouldn't be! Now go! I've got a reincarnator to visit, and you'd better have the pantheon spick and span by the time I get back, with dinner on the table. And no delegating it to the lesser gods, you hear me. You, a broom, and a rag. That's it!"

"Yes, Dear."

When Destiny stepped through the Re: Monster door, Alec turned to Fate. "Seriously? How do you put up with that?"

"The makeup sex is fucking amazing. She turns docile for a few centuries afterwards, almost like she is a different goddess. Doing stuff like this once a millennium keeps the spice in our relationship even after a few billion years. Thanks again for the assist, buddy."

"My pleasure. Come back anytime." Alec said.

Heh, Fate and Destiny are still intertwined even after all this time. I should open a deity marriage counselling service. Actually... that might be something for John to do once he finishes this show. The omniverse could really do with some help in that department.

Once Fate disappeared, he snapped his fingers to clean the DEN stage from their frat boy vacation. It was almost time for their oldest contestant to return, and it was time to come up with a way to really annoy him on his arrival.
