Day 16 (Cont)

That Night

Mi POV

"What is this sound?" She asked him. They were alone in one of these 'lounges' as Rou called them, talking and sharing a bottle of something called bourbon. He had been fiddling with something called a stereo and vinyl records for the last few minutes, saying it was a surprise.  

"It's music from another world. A song called Beast of Burden, from a band called The Rolling Stones." Rou said, then offered her his hand. "Would you like a dance, Milady?"

She giggled a little at being called a lady, but happily took his hand. They wrapped their arms around each other, their stubs resting on the other's side as they slowly rocked around to the music. It was horrific that she lost her arm, but Rou had shown her how to keep working with her other one and how to keep it from slowing her down. He hadn't been easy on her, but she felt like she was still a whole hobgoblin with how he treated her. She loved that about him. 

But why is he holding back with me? I thought I made my interest known... and he let Riana give him a blowjob this morning in bed. Maybe I should ask her and Sui how to do that so he will mate with me too. I know it's something that needs to be done, my instincts are telling me to mate with this man immediately, but I'm still not sure how. Maybe if I show more interest in things he likes, he will show me how it works. 

"A band? What is that?"

"Usually it's people who perform music as a group."

"In the world you came from, people could survive just by singing?"

"Well, they had to be pretty good at it to make a living, but if they were good enough, and had the right opportunities, they became among our richest people." 

"Your world sounds wonderful."

"For the most part, it was great, though it had its own problems. Sometimes it was nice to just leave it all behind and head off into nature. If I didn't have this mansion, this place would still be rather relaxing, almost like a camping and hunting trip. Oh... we should go fishing soon. There is a nice river nearby, and we could make a day of it."

"Do fish taste good?" She asked. She didn't ask, but she wondered why he would ever want to leave a place like this mansion to go live in a cave. To her, she would be happy to never see their old cave again. Just being able to stay clean was amazing, and their bed was much better than lying on stone. If he asked, she would follow him anywhere, but she would miss their bed. 

"They do."

"Then we should soon. We could make a group event out of it."

"Hah, a village fishing tournament. Good idea, Mi." He replied, then kissed the top of her head. She had no idea what that was, but it seemed to make him happy, so she let it be. He would tell her what it was when the time got closer.

They continued to talk while they danced, and shared a few more drinks, ending up back in their room rather late. Much to her frustration, he hadn't taken more than a couple of kisses from her all night. She cuddled into his side as he drifted off to sleep, wondering if she was doing something wrong here. 

He should be the one taking advantage of me, right? 

Day 17

John POV

Early Morning

"If you're okay with it, I'm going to use that tree with a cave under it for my anchor point here. I'll need some extra energy to make it, and might need to top up later, too." Riana said, clinging to Little John as if it contained the solution to all her problems. She had ambushed him when he went to the bathroom this morning and was straddling him while he sat on the toilet. Thankfully, she had let him go first, else this might have been a bit messier.

"Sure. I'll get a few goblins to help empty it out for you."

"That would be good. I want to see if I can make a mana spring underneath it, though that might take a significant amount of time and energy. From all the knowledge I was given with my evolution, only a few Dorians ever gathered the amount of power to make one, but with your help, I think I could manage it." She said while grinding on top of him.

"What does that do?"

"There are many possibilities, like increased mana regeneration of anyone who bathes in the waters, extra spells, a well of power to draw power from, rapid plant growth, and increased longevity. It can also serve as a spot to draw fairies to. I won't know for sure what I can do until I actually start, and I should add a few more levels before I actually try it. Lucky for me, I gain levels just doing what we are doing right now."

"Oh? So, I am just a convenient power well for you to use?" 

"Would that be such a bad thing? We both are getting something from this." She said with a laugh, then kissed him. "Don't worry. I gave you my True Name. That means I'm your personal Dorian now, and it's your responsibility to keep me well fed. No other man's essence will come close to me, not that I would want it; yours is the best."

"Glad to hear it. Let's get this anchor point finished, then I'll get you to start expanding our farm. Sui and I can make seedlings, but I assume you can do even more."

"I can accelerate growth, but it is taxing. If the seeds were already seedlings or established young plants, I can do more with less power. Mainly, when you are talking about hundreds of plants, not just one or two. Oh, I have some infused seeds back at my tree that we can plant as well. They will grow faster and produce very nutrient-dense food for us. They just need some love and care. Do you have someone with a farmer class here?"

"Sadly, no. Ee, Sui and I are as close as you're getting."

"Pity. When a Farmer and a Dryad work together, we can really push the potential for plant growth to its limits. It doesn't happen often, since a dryad needs to feed to survive, and most humans can't keep up with us over long periods. Though when it does, we can make a simple acre of land produce more food in a month than several hundred can in a year."

"Well, we don't need THAT much food. There are only forty of us. It would be nice to be able to grow food for livestock so we can feed them through the winter."

"You can use the food for trade, or if your population starts expanding, you will have the resources to keep everyone fed. Half our population are goblinoids after all. This nest could be several thousand strong in under a year if they started to breed."

"Yeah. I'm aware." He said. He was very much aware of that fact. He was concerned that the male goblins and hobgoblins were looking to their mothers as a possible release for their mounting lust. Right now, he feared he was the only thing keeping them in check. 

It doesn't help that most of the female goblins had attached themselves to Kichi and me. Hopefully, they can keep themselves in check; otherwise, I will have to smash a few skulls. Maybe I should see if I can evolve again. I wonder what is after Hobgoblin.

They continued to chat while she rode him, Riana drawing energy from his Ki even without him cuming. He actually laughed a little; it was like he was charging a phone, steadily filling her up with his energy, then slamming a large burst of it at the end to finish her off. He wasn't quite sure what to make of their relationship since she was as much a plant as an animal and thought a bit differently than he was used to, but he was content enough with what they had. 

Afternoon

Ee POV

"See! I found all these spirit stones while breaking down those rocks."

"Interesting! What can we do with spirit stones?" He asked her as he examined one of the amber Earth spirit stones. 

"Well, inside each one is a spirit related to the element of the stone. If used by a smith, they can make weapons, armour, and other things imbued with magical properties."

"Amazing. Great find, Ee." He said, then popped the stone into his mouth and crunched down on it. It shattered immediately, and he chewed it as he examined another rock. 

"Umm... did you just eat that stone?" She asked him, confused at how he didn't just break all the teeth in his mouth.

"Huh? Oh... I guess I did. It was like eating a candy, and I didn't think about it. I got a skill doing it too."

"A skill? From eating a rock?"

"Apparently. See." He said, placing his hand on the wall. A spike of dirt and rock shot out of the wall a couple of feet.

"Oh wow! You're amazing, Rou." She said, grasping his hand. She couldn't explain it, but he was even more attractive to her right now, using the element she had felt such affinity with.  If only he would take the next step and do more than kiss her. She wanted the same thing that Riana was getting from him this morning in the bathroom next to their bedroom. She wasn't sure exactly what that was or how it worked, but Sui's stories were quite explicit, and he made her feel amazingly good before with just his magic.

What is holding him back from doing more than kissing Mi and me? Our instincts are telling both of us to breed with him, but isn't that the male's job of taking the next step and forcing us down? 

"Thanks, Ee. You ready to head over to that abandoned mine now?"

"Yes!" She replied, hefting her pickaxe. 

They spent the rest of the day together, killing bats and exploring the depths of that mine. They found more spirit stones from a variety of elements, and, as Rou showed her, there were deposits of both iron and mithril. They worked out a way to fix the pulley systems that would bring rocks up from the depths, though they would need to rebuild what he called mine carts to follow the metal tracks in the ground. They also found a massive door that was sealed with magic. After messing with it a bit, they left it alone and returned to the surface. They were both getting hungry, and he seemed to think they could just dig a bit away from the door and go around it instead of trying to defeat its magic.

As they were about to step out of the mine, she grabbed his arm and pulled him to a stop. "Rou, thank you for bringing me down here. It means a lot to me."

"My pleasure, darlin'. I had fun today."

"Listen. Can we... do something more?"

"More? Like what?" He replied, staring into her eyes. His blue eye, its gaze normally intense, felt softer, full of a deep caring. However, that white eye felt like it was boring into her, judging her thoughts, her very soul. They were nearly the same height, but when he gazed at her like that, she felt very small.

She swallowed, then soldiered on. This itch, her feelings, and her instincts were pushing on her and wouldn't go away by ignoring them. "Can we have sex?"

There! I did it! No more dodging. 

He didn't say anything at first, then wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in for a deep kiss. His tongue pushed into her mouth, and she accepted it, wrapping her own arms around him in the process. His hand pushed down into her shorts, squeezing her firm ass while one of his fingers was playing with her butt hole. It felt very nice, nicer than she thought the out hole should feel, causing her to moan into his mouth as they kissed. 

Not breaking their kiss, she reached down and pushed her shorts down so they fell to her ankles, then undid his pants and allowed them to drop. She stepped out of her shorts and wrapped both her arms over his shoulders, then wrapped her legs around his waist. She could feel that heavy penis of his rubbing her special place, twitching rapidly as it tried to get inside of her. 

He spun her around and pressed her back against the wall, then lifted both her legs above his shoulders. He could feel him poking her, aiming to penetrate her.

Yes! It's happening! 

Just then, Kichi came tearing into the mine, shouting at the top of his lungs. "ROU! IT'S AN EMERGENCY! ROU- Rou? Ee? What are you two doing?"

Rou stopped kissing her immediately, then, after a moment, reluctantly released her legs gently and let her down off the wall. He turned to Kichi. "Nothing now. What is wrong?"

"It's Sui. She was attacked."

"What? Attacked by what?"

"It was Grak. He-"

"Bring me to her. Now." Rou said, his voice turning cold. His eyes were flaring with power as she had never felt before; the pressure coming off of him was making her knees buckle. There were dark flames coming off his hand, and a black tendril extending off his missing arm. 

Oh no! Is she okay?

She wanted to ask that, but was too terrified to speak as the kind, caring Rou had seemed to turn into something much darker, more primal. She didn't know what happened, but if he was still alive, she didn't think Grak would be for long.
