There was a few seconds of silence over there before the voice came again. "Get back here. If you’re not home in twenty minutes, you’re dead."

"He’s just too clingy..." Kaili said, then laughed herself. Who would’ve thought a dignified killer like her would end up like this.

Ye Rongyue glanced at the screen. "Yun Yi!"

"So annoying, that father and son pair, each more annoying than the other. Give it here!"

As soon as the call connected, they heard Kaili roar, "You little bastard, you got a death wish or what? What the hell are you rushing me for? When you were eight your old mom never gave you a curfew, and now you think you can control your old mom..."

On the other end, Yun Yi held the phone half a meter away until it quieted down, then brought it closer again. Ye Rongyue was a bit dumbfounded. "He just hung up like that? He’s not coming, or sending someone to help you?"

If it were her mom in any kind of trouble, her brothers at home would’ve already galloped over on horseback.

"Sigh, this kid of mine... cold as ice... I’m his mother, so he at least remembers to give me a heads-up. If it were someone else, they could drop dead right in front of him and he wouldn’t even blink."

Ye Rongyue blinked. So bringing her back was really his first act of kindness?

"Alright, enough about him. Sit tight, I’m going to speed up and take them out."

Very soon the car exited the highway. This road led toward the West Mountain villa area. At this hour there were very few cars; seeing that it was basically just their few vehicles on the road, she swung the wheel around and rammed straight into the Phaeton on the left.

By now the Benz behind and the Land Rover in front were both driving toward Kaili and Ye Rongyue’s car.

The guys in the Land Rover actually pulled guns.

"Heh, looks like He Mingzhang’s got a death wish if he even dares block my car." Kaili didn’t take their guns seriously at all.
