Chapter 1615 - 1567: Screw Your Wife-Chasing Crematorium 24

Anning had just finished a meeting and called Feng Na and several executives into her office to discuss some matters.

Today she was wearing a wine-red suit. Her long hair wasn’t tied up but draped casually over her shoulders, different from her usual crisp, capable look, making her appear very alluring.

She was holding a few project files, and told several executives to go do some market research first. Then she added, "A lot of people have been complaining to me that the market is saturated and our home appliance sales aren’t as good as before. What I want to say is: there’s still a broader market waiting for us to develop."

"What do you mean, Mr. Yun?"

These executives were promoted after Anning took over Mrs. Yun’s company. They were basically Anning’s right-hand people—young in age, but very strong in business capability and highly efficient. However, they still didn’t quite understand what Anning meant. After all, home appliances aren’t daily consumables: a household appliance is used for years, and some families will keep using it as long as it doesn’t break.

And the market was indeed somewhat saturated now. The only solution they could think of was to keep upgrading and updating to attract the younger generation to dump their old appliances and replace them with new ones.

As for developing the market, they really didn’t have any good ideas.

Anning stood up with a smile. "Our home appliances have always focused on the urban market, but have any of you calculated how many farmers there are in our country? Do you know how vast the rural market is? Rural conditions have improved now, and buying appliances is no longer a heavy burden for them. We need to start actively opening up the rural market. I want to launch a ’home appliances to the countryside’ campaign, to test the waters first. Before we do this event, you guys should conduct a market survey and get the data to me as soon as possible."

Anning’s words suddenly enlightened those executives.

Only then did they realize that the urban home appliance market was indeed showing signs of saturation, but the countryside still needed home appliances.

"If we want to develop the rural market, we’ll have to set up outlets first, at least get the after-sales service up and running."

Anning nodded. "Yes. We can use townships as units and set up sales outlets in the towns. Also, we need to bring e-commerce into this..."

Anning walked forward a few steps, turned around, and looked at Feng Na. "Secretary Feng, take this down. See if we can quickly cultivate a few influencers who can move products. The future is the traffic economy. We need to be ahead of the curve, not picking over other people’s leftovers."

Feng Na hurried to write it down. "Mr. Yun, we still need to discuss this matter in detail."

Anning smiled. "I’m just bringing it up for now. This isn’t something we can rush and make happen overnight. For the moment, let’s leave it at that. You all go discuss it and give me a result next week."

The executives exchanged glances, then said a few more words to Anning before leaving the office.

Feng Na brought Anning a cup of tea. "Mr. Yun, what do you mean by ’traffic economy’?"

Anning relaxed into the sofa. "It’s hard to explain to you clearly now. You’ll understand once we get it up and running."

Feng Na asked again, "I know what influencers are. There are already some now, most of them go viral by acting ugly. But I really don’t see how they can move products, and I don’t really understand how they make money."

Only then did Anning remember that it was still early at this point in time. Online shopping had just started, influencers were still in the primary stage, and self-media hadn’t taken off yet. You could say this was a very good era.

Anning was getting a bit excited.

She was already thinking of getting involved in the short-video and livestream industries.

"The influencers I’m talking about aren’t quite the same as the ones you see now. How about this: I’ll have Xiao Yuan draft a proposal for you to look over later."

Feng Na didn’t think Xiao Yuan could write any proposal of real value, but she didn’t say anything more.

She knew Anning was currently very fond of Xiao Yuan, so there was no room for her to comment on good or bad.

"Alright then, I’ll head out first."

Feng Na left the office with the files in her arms and ran straight into Xiao Nian.

She didn’t realize this wasn’t Xiao Yuan, and smiled as she greeted him. "Mr. Xiao, what brings you here today? Does Mr. Yun know you’re here?"

Xiao Nian had a smile on his face. He didn’t know Feng Na, but he knew she was probably a secretary or something similar. "She doesn’t know. I just wanted to give her a surprise."

"Mr. Yun is in her office right now. You can go straight in."

Feng Na pointed in the direction of the office, thought for a moment, then added, "Mr. Yun has been in meetings and working non-stop. She’s probably hungry now. Help me take something for her to eat."

The secretarial department had a pantry with coffee, tea, juice, and some snacks.

Feng Na picked out some snacks and poured a glass of juice, then handed the tray to Xiao Nian. "Sorry to trouble you."

"Not at all." Xiao Nian accepted the tray with a smile.

He knew this secretary had to be familiar with Xiao Yuan, and now he was sure Xiao Yuan had really latched onto Mr. Yun. And since the secretary hadn’t noticed that he wasn’t Xiao Yuan, he grew even more confident that he could take Xiao Yuan’s place.

Holding the tray, Xiao Nian walked to the office door and knocked.

"Come in."

He heard a very pleasant voice. How to describe it—there was a kind of magnetism in it, yet at the same time a cool, aloof note that was hard to put into words. Anyway, when Xiao Nian heard it, he found it very pleasing.

He pushed the door open and went in, placing the tray on the coffee table.

Anning looked up at him. "Get out."

Xiao Nian also saw Anning.

Just one look, and he was almost bewitched out of his Divine Soul.

His heart was pounding wildly, and he felt a bit at a loss. "Mr. Yun, am I disturbing you?"

In Xiao Nian’s view, the relationship between Xiao Yuan and Anning was unequal. Xiao Yuan should be nothing more than a little plaything Anning kept around for amusement, someone who wouldn’t dare address her by name. So he chose to call her Mr. Yun right away.

Anning’s gaze was ice-cold. "Get out."

"I..."

Xiao Nian stared at Anning, completely infatuated. "I just missed you. If I’m disturbing you..."

Anning had originally intended to call internal security to have them throw Xiao Nian out. But when she saw that face that was almost identical to Xiao Yuan’s, she changed her mind.

Anning stood up, took a dark overcoat hanging to the side and draped it over her shoulders, then picked up a handbag. "Let’s go."

Xiao Nian meekly followed behind Anning out of the office.

As she was leaving, Anning instructed Feng Na, "Secretary Feng, I’m going out for a bit. In a while, send the files to each department, and help me schedule a meeting with Mr. Li from Changheng."

Feng Na smiled. "Alright."

She added, "Do you want me to call the driver to come along?"

Anning waved her hand. "No need. I’ll drive myself."

She took Xiao Nian with her in the elevator down to the parking garage.

Anning always kept a car in the company’s garage so she could drive out herself anytime she wanted.

She led Xiao Nian over to a car parked nearby.

When Xiao Nian saw the car, his face flushed with excitement.

He knew this car. It wasn’t just about how expensive it was; the main point was how hard it was to get. It was a global limited-edition model, extremely hard to buy. Without connections, money alone wasn’t enough.

He’d read about it in online reports. As far as he remembered, there were only two or three such cars in all of Dongzhou City, and the most expensive one was worth over a hundred million.

Anning’s car wasn’t the priciest one, but it wasn’t far off.

Thinking of how much this car was worth made his hands tremble slightly.

If he could secure Mr. Yun, wouldn’t he also get luxury cars and villas? Wouldn’t he, like Xiao Yuan, be able to buy whatever he wanted?

When he looked at Anning again, he felt she was even more beautiful.
