The Boys: Viltrumite Bloodline Panel
Chapter 140: The Critical Value of Doomsday
It’s silly to try to escape other people’s faults. They are inescapable. Just try to escape your own.

"Strange indeed! Who would have thought that a mere nuclear bomb could actually break Superman’s defense."
Hillel smacked his lips, somewhat surprised.
"That monster will destroy the entire city." Wonder Woman looked at him, her eyes carrying a trace of probing.
"Can you... help?"
Hillel turned his head and glanced at her.
Using his super vision, he quietly observed the woman.
Inside Diana’s body flowed a kind of energy he couldn’t understand. That energy didn’t belong to any system within his cognition; it was warm and carried a trace of divinity.
This was probably the so-called divine power.
"Wonder Woman, what is he doing?" Batman asked in a low voice.
"He seems... to be observing me!" Diana furrowed her brows slightly. "You’re Batman, you should be able to look up his information."
"Can’t find anything."
Batman was gloomy as ever. "The moment he appeared, I pulled up the data of all Supes in my micro-computer! But none of them are in the files. There’s only one possibility: the same origin as Superman!"
"Not bad, as expected of Batman!" Hillel clapped his hands.
"Are you also a Kryptonian? What is your relationship with General Zod!"
Batman questioned coldly.
Hillel grinned. "Me? Judging by your morals, I should be considered neutral, neither entirely good nor evil, and definitely not an upright person. But I can let you in on a secret: General Zod might not have killed as many people as I have!"
Batman’s expression suddenly turned stern.
Could it be...
Hillel laughed heartily. "It seems no one else has ever teased Batman quite like I can!"
"I am a Viltrumite, and my weakness is my inner ear structure. You can develop high-frequency sound waves to target me, or develop an anti-Viltrumite armor!"
Batman recorded the information.
A Viltrumite? Weakness is the inner ear structure?
What on Earth did this guy mean by deliberately telling him his weakness!
"Alright, it’s time to get down to business, or your Superman is going to be beaten to Death!"
When Doomsday appeared, it was bound to be accompanied by the iconic scene of Superman’s Death.
As his voice fell, a wave of air surged around Hillel, instantly transforming him into a streak of light that tore through the sky, rushing straight toward the falling Doomsday.
That posture was wild and cool at the same time!
This Doomsday was a monster derived from General Zod’s corpse combined with Rex’s blood. Kryptonite could still weaken him, but Hillel intended to go toe-to-toe.
A real man only attacks and never defends!
He rushed in front of Doomsday and, without even looking, threw a punch!
Bang!!!
That massive monster, like a cannonball knocked flying, was forcefully blasted away from Metropolis and straight out into outer space.
He had held back quite a bit of strength with that punch. Fearing he might shatter Doomsday in one blow.
Superman, who had just recovered from the nuclear blast, opened his eyes only to see Doomsday whistling past right over his head and flying away.
The next second, Hillel drifted right in front of him.
Superman instinctively used his super vision. Why was the other’s body structure... so strange? A six-chambered heart and such a complex inner ear structure, while everything else was more or less similar to his own.
"Who are you?" Superman asked.
Hillel glanced at him.
It was Henry-Superman’s appearance.
That made it even more reassuring.
Henry-Superman was the version that fit the image of an Aura farmer Superman—righteous and impeccable, but also a version of Superman with relatively weak portrayal.
"I am Homelander." Hillel reported his moniker.
That name didn’t sound like a good guy!
"Of course, you can also call me The Guardian, or Regent!"
The latter two sounded normal enough, and Superman’s brow relaxed a bit.
"You don’t look like an enemy."
Superman said in a deep voice. "My World is facing a major crisis. Are you a friend?"
"I do have a Superman friend, but he grew up in a laboratory since he was a child, and his personality was deliberately designed, making him not quite like a normal person. If there’s a chance later, I can introduce you to him."
Hillel chuckled.
Superman and Homelander meeting would definitely be very interesting!
"Alright, I’m going to go deal with Doomsday first. Let’s chat later!"
Hillel started getting down to business.
He fired a pair of Omega Beams directly at Doomsday.
Half of Doomsday’s shoulder was melted away, flesh and bone together.
Hillel was not in a rush to kill it.
There was also a huge gap between different versions of Doomsday.
A weak Doomsday, like the one in front of him, could be killed and could not overcome Death.
A powerful Doomsday was the ultimate lifeform developed by Kryptonian scientists, capable of adapting to any extreme environment, and even through repeated experiments, constantly dying and resurrecting, directly overcoming Death.
Let alone Superman, even Darkseid had been beaten up hard by it.
If he encountered that Doomsday, Hillel would definitely run away without looking back!
That guy couldn’t even die, its combat power doubled after resurrection, and it couldn’t be killed again by the same means. Not even a Saiyan was that shady.
Doomsday’s melted shoulder quickly began to heal itself. In just a few breaths, a thicker arm grew out, complete with sharp spikes.
It roared and fiercely smashed towards Hillel.
Hillel didn’t dodge or evade, raising his hand to trade a punch with it.
Those gruesome bone spikes were forcefully snapped by Hillel, and Doomsday was sent flying once again.
Hillel looked at his own fist, feeling nothing at all. Nowadays, his large-planet-level combat power was practically in a tier of its own in many superhero movies. (Henry-Superman’s power scaling is set relatively high, but here it’s written based on his portrayal.)
Even if he ran into characters like Galactus or Odin, he could still arm-wrestle with them. As long as he didn’t encounter Sentinel or various overpowered heroes, he could at least sit at the table and grab a bite.
Doomsday grew wilder the more it fought. Every time it took a hit, its body would grow and evolve accordingly.
It roared again and again, rushing towards Hillel at an even faster speed.
[Target detected — Doomsday]
[This target possesses infinite growth characteristics, meeting the collection criteria for weapon modules.]
[Current critical value: 23%... 47%... 55%...]
[Prompt: When the critical value reaches 100%, the target will be an excellent material for weapon modules. At that time, its bones, heart, and flesh can be dismantled and stored separately.]
Looking at the continuously rising critical value, Hillel understood everything.
I see.
Then bring it on!
Hillel threw punch after punch, beating Doomsday to a pulp, yet deliberately holding back from dealing the killing blow.
Nor could the opponent run away.
His speed was faster than light, already immeasurable. At least without single-Universe-level combat power, it was hard to catch up to him.
Superman, standing aside, watched with some confusion. The other clearly could kill Doomsday, yet refused to deliver a fatal blow on purpose, why?
That won’t do!
Just as Superman wanted to make a move, he saw Hillel turn his head over, two red lights lighting up in his eyes as if in warning.
Emmm...
As expected, not a good guy!
Not long after, Batman flew over in his fighter jet, with Wonder Woman clinging to the wing, arriving beside Superman.
"How is it going?" Batman asked.
"See for yourselves." Superman gave a bitter smile, raising his hand to point toward space.
Batman and Wonder Woman looked along the direction. In deep space, two figures were entangled in battle. The only difference was that Hillel was unilaterally rubbing Doomsday against a meteorite.
"What is he doing?" Batman frowned.
"I don’t know!"
"We should stop them as soon as possible," Wonder Woman said with a solemn expression. "That man is provoking that thing, making it stronger and stronger. If this goes on, no one on Earth will be able to stop Doomsday!"
"...I’d like to as well, but this is no longer a fight I can interfere with!"
If Superman even twitched a finger, Hillel would precisely fire a pair of Omega Beams.
Talk about shady!
