The Boys: Viltrumite Bloodline Panel
Chapter 126: Any man who must say ’I am the king’ is no true king
"Now, as your King, I order you..."
Seeing that the crowd was stunned, Thragg suddenly raised his voice, filled with monstrous rage.
"Take this traitor down for me!!!"
However, silence still answered him.
Not a single Viltrumite moved.
They simply blocked Thragg’s path.
Stunned, my foot; they simply didn’t take him seriously at all.
These people used their own bodies to form a human wall.
During The Great Purge, no one came to save them, and they could only fight to the Death!
When the scourge virus broke out, the entire Planet Viltrum was helpless, and only Hillel, without resting for even a second, pulled them back from the brink of Death.
Viltrumites lacked love.
Emperor Argus had united all Viltrumites, giving them honor and making them renowned across the stars.
But the emperor did not give them love.
Everything was for the empire; under the advancing iron hooves of the empire, every individual life was the most insignificant part.
Yet someone happened to view this most insignificant existence as a treasure.
Therefore, for our King!
Thragg was so angry he laughed.
"Good... Very good. You bribed traitors! Pathetic!"
But Belesa sneered.
"Bribed? Thragg, you underestimate Our King too much... If the King wanted to conquer us, He wouldn’t need such methods at all."
"He can defeat Conquest head-on. He can defeat everyone present single-handedly!"
"His strength has never relied on petty, shady tricks, but is open and aboveboard!"
"Why would He use such despicable tricks as poisoning?"
Belesa stepped forward, completely unfearful, and stared directly at the Grand Regent.
"You actually used the basest speculations to insult a true leader. You are the truly despicable one, Thragg!"
"Insolent!!!"
Thragg was completely enraged.
The dignified Grand Regent, when had he ever been so openly contradicted and humiliated by a mere female warrior?
There was simply no law left!
Were these people trying to rebel?
He abruptly tore off his cloak and heavily threw it onto the ground.
"A bunch of traitors who acknowledge a thief as their father!!!"
With bloodshot eyes, he let out a Beast-like roar toward the crowd.
The next instant.
Thragg’s figure suddenly vanished.
Fast!
Too fast!
So fast that the vast majority of Viltrumites present couldn’t even capture his afterimage.
By the time everyone reacted...
That tall figure had already appeared in front of Belesa.
Thragg brought down a palm chop, aiming directly at Belesa’s head.
He wanted to make an example of her to warn the others!
He wanted to execute this female warrior who dared to humiliate him right in front of everyone.
Belesa’s pupils shrank abruptly.
She didn’t even have time to react.
This move was simply impossible to block!
Belesa had fought Hillel countless times, and only Hillel had ever displayed such terrifying suppression.
The shadow of Death obscured her vision.
It was over!
It was my honour to meet him and to know what it feels like to be loved by someone...
Belesa closed her eyes!
Actively welcoming Death!
Her only regret was failing to bear a powerful offspring for the King!
But the next second.
The anticipated intense pain and Death did not arrive.
Bang!
A loud explosion suddenly rang out.
Thragg’s palm strike, which was powerful enough to slice off a meteorite, was steadily caught by a hand.
That hand reached out from behind Belesa, its five fingers spread wide, gripping right onto Thragg’s descending palm.
The two terrifying forces collided violently the instant they made contact.
Boom!
A ring of gale-force wind spread outward, almost visible to the naked eye.
What terrifying power!
A layer of the ruins beneath their feet was blown away by the gale, and the surrounding Viltrumites instinctively raised their arms to block.
A few seconds later.
These people wore expressions of utter shock.
You’ve got to be kidding me!
That Grand Regent, so powerful that people didn’t dare look him in the eye, his attack actually didn’t work?
And the person who caught this palm strike was none other than Hillel.
His figure was tall, almost on par with the Grand Regent, and his muscles were much broader than when he first arrived; even his philtrum had a few wisps of downy hair.
Hillel had long since completed the healing of Conquest.
He was extremely fast; the moment Thragg made his move, Hillel had already rushed toward Belesa.
A hint of chilliness grew in both of their gazes.
"Thragg, don’t you know? Any man who must say ’I am the king’ is no true king! With such weak strength, you still want to kill my people?"
Hillel slowly spoke, baring his pearly white teeth.
Thragg pulled his hand back, but it was tightly gripped by Hillel, and he couldn’t pull it away at all!
"Insolent!"
Thragg forcefully yanked his hand back, finally breaking free, and spun around with a kick.
That kick was both fast and heavy.
It hit squarely on Hillel’s chest.
Bang!
Hillel was kicked flying backward, tracing a long arc in mid-air, only to suddenly brake to a stop at a certain point!
He just hovered steadily in mid-air, feeling the power of Thragg’s kick.
Then he calmly patted the dust off his battle robe.
That kick was quite heavy and gave him internal bleeding, but looking cool is a damn lifelong matter!
Hillel smacked his lips.
"Still the same words, Thragg, during The Great Purge, we were all fighting, but you seemed like you were sleeping. Did you not eat?"
Hillel hooked his finger. "If you haven’t eaten, I can let you kick me three times for free first."
The entire ruins were dead silent.
All the Viltrumites stared blankly at that figure in mid-air.
Taking a kick from the Grand Regent and actually coming out completely unscathed?
The Grand Regent was even stronger than Conquest; he had fought countless victorious battles, fought his way up step by step from the bottom, and even Emperor Argus recognized his combat power.
Could it be...
The great Hillel was even stronger than the Grand Regent?
The gazes of those female Viltrumites were already so thick they could spin silk.
The great Hillel hadn’t even grown a moustache yet. To the people of Planet Viltrum who possessed long lives, his age was akin to a child’s, yet his combat power was already stronger than the Grand Regent!
Hillel’s future was simply immeasurable!
He might be the most powerful individual combat force in the history of Planet Viltrum!
Unlike the surrounding Viltrumites, Thragg’s anger had practically solidified into substance.
A traitor suspected of releasing a virus was so young, yet so powerful!
And on top of that, he defied him!
Thragg had the honor of being a warrior, but at this moment there was only endless humiliation.
"You’re courting Death!"
Thragg kicked off against the void, and his figure instantly vanished.
The next moment, he appeared right in front of Hillel.
But Hillel was even faster than him.
Only a moron would take three kicks from the opponent for free; Thragg’s strength was not weak at all, and he was much stronger than Conquest, making even Hillel feel pressure multiplying.
"To say such lines... what are you? A NovelPhoenix cultivator?" (P.S. Did the dialogue above get you? (^///^))
The moment Thragg rushed over, Hillel’s fist had long been coiled and ready.
His elbow abruptly jerked backward, a movement that could be said to be slight, yet it whipped up a terrifying wind pressure.
Sss!!
That wind pressure formed an invisible vortex, sucking even Thragg’s massive body forcefully toward Hillel’s side.
Thragg’s pupils contracted.
What the fuck!?
Isn’t this my move?
