The Boys: Viltrumite Bloodline Panel
Chapter 116: Battling To My Heart’s Content!
Power does not corrupt men; fools, however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power.
~ George Bernard Shaw
_____
Billions of Viltrumites were scattered across every corner of this Planet, and even the surrounding space.
They chased and tore at each other without interruption or rest.
Time lost all meaning amidst this sea of blood.
In the beginning, Hillel fought to his heart’s content!
Viltrumites were indeed strong; compared to the Supes in The Boys World, they were a true warrior race, with each one possessing impressive strength, speed, and durability.
Yet in front of Hillel, they were still too weak.
His current strength was even above Nolan, and among the Viltrumites, there were not many who could go toe-to-toe with him.
Even so, during the fierce battle, Hillel had his heart pierced, his abdomen punched through, and even one of his arms ripped off.
Strong as he was, he couldn’t handle the Viltrumites lacking martial ethics and bloody well ganging up on him!
Hillel’s regeneration, stacked with Super-speed Healing, allowed him to regenerate health while fighting, keeping him at full status at all times.
A supreme warrior, combined with Super-speed Healing.
Talk about underhanded!
Wherever his fists went, no one could block for more than a few rounds, leaving only corpse after corpse falling behind.
He was like the sharpest blade, wantonly reaping lives in this ocean of flesh and blood.
Until...
He encountered truly tough opponents.
Those were entities that even Hillel had to take seriously.
The one-eyed female Viltrumite named Andreessa was even faster than Hillel; her attacks were tricky and fatal, precisely piercing the most vital parts with every strike.
If Hillel were a normal Viltrumite, he would have long since been gutted to death by a palm strike.
There was also a burly man named Gromash whose clothes had been torn apart by fist wind, but his exposed muscles were covered in scars, and his strength was terrifying to the extreme.
Every punch seemed to possess the terrifying power to shatter asteroids.
There was a third, a fourth...
The combat power of these Viltrumites infinitely approached that of Hillel.
They were the batch of people standing at the peak of Viltrum throughout history, and in terms of age, some were even more senior than Conquest.
In the protracted battle, these people acutely perceived the unusual combat power on Hillel’s body.
They actually stopped infighting with tacit understanding and instead turned their spearheads toward Hillel.
"Ha! This brat’s got some moves!"
"Together!"
"I’ll weigh his strength, don’t kill him too fast, this lady wants to mate with him a few times before killing him!"
More streams of light crazily swarmed toward Hillel from all directions to tear him apart.
Viltrumite Fist Wind!
Viltrumite Hand Blade!
Viltrumite Flying Kick!
Viltrumite Charge!
These people were simply extremely ferocious, and Hillel was completely trapped in the center.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Terrifying attacks slammed fiercely into his body, tearing his clothes inch by inch.
Blood splattered everywhere!
If it were any Viltrumite of the same tier, being ganged up on to this extent by so many top powerhouses would have long been beaten into a blood mist.
But Hillel was different.
Just when those Viltrumites thought victory was within their grasp, they miraculously discovered... The hideous wounds on the body of the blood-drenched young man they had beaten were healing frantically at a terrifying speed.
The severed flesh and tissue connected and repaired in an instant, and the bones restored in the blink of an eye.
Super Speed Healing.
Viltrumites did not possess this talent; ordinary Viltrumites, though strong in durability, still required treatment and time to recover once severely injured.
Most Viltrumites wouldn’t necessarily die if their bodies were pierced; as long as their hearts weren’t injured, they could slowly recover.
But this was The Great Purge.
No one would give you treatment; severe injury was weakness, and minor injury meant continuing to fight.
As long as one didn’t die, they had to get up and fight!
Although Hillel kept getting injured, as they say, people’s constitutions could not be generalized.
He purely accumulated and burst forth!
"You... what kind of monster are you!"
Andreessa looked at the wounds on Hillel’s body healing almost visibly to the naked eye, a look of horror appearing on her face for the first time.
"I am the most perfect Viltrumite!"
Hillel stood at the center of the siege by those powerhouses, slowly raising his head.
A cruel arc split across the corners of his mouth.
"Weaklings, why bother caring about such things. None of you can live to see tomorrow’s Sun. Only true powerhouses can stand atop flesh and blood to achieve supreme glory."
"And that person..."
Hillel raised his thumb and pointed at himself.
"It’s me!"
As the words fell.
His figure suddenly erupted.
Boom!
He raced Andreessa in speed and matched Gromash in strength.
Several majestic forces collided fiercely in mid-air.
At that instant, a visible Impact spread wildly outward with the two of them as the center.
The already riddled earth beneath their feet was forcibly torn apart by the aftermath of this strike into a bottomless rift tens of kilometers long.
Gromash let out a muffled groan as his entire arm twisted and shattered at a bizarre angle!
As for himself, he was blasted flying by Hillel’s punch, plunging headfirst into a mountain range at the end of the horizon, stirring up a sky full of dust and smoke.
Hillel did not give the others time to react.
He transformed into a blur, instantly flashing past Andreessa, his hand blade lightly sweeping across her neck.
Pfft!
Andreessa’s one-eyed head slowly slid off her neck.
Slaughter!
Pure slaughter!
Hillel grew braver the more he fought in this bloody Shura field, and more frantic the more he killed.
He couldn’t even be bothered to solve them one by one with his fists anymore.
He raised his eyes.
Crimson Omega Beams spewed forth from his dual pupils.
Wherever that destructive beam passed, rows upon rows of Viltrumites were instantly pierced through.
Enemies that fell within his line of sight could hardly escape death.
All were shot through the heart.
Hillel had only operated the Omega at full power once before, when destroying Matt’s Zerg Planet.
But his strength was very weak back then.
Now, amidst this blooming ultimate power, he was like a deity, and a certain change actually occurred within his field of vision.
When his gaze fell upon individual Viltrumites, he could actually see their long lives.
He saw a veteran who had once fought bloody battles for the empire in some interstellar war.
Emperor Argall personally praised him.
There was also a youth who, on some Planet, looked up for the first time at that vast starry sky belonging to the Viltrumites.
The Omega vision had also evolved along with the growth of his strength.
One glance was the other person’s entire life.
Hillel obtained the ultimate tempering in this endless slaughter.
...
Not knowing how long he had killed.
Hillel’s reputation began to spread; some called him the invincible one, others called him the evolver, and some even crowned him with the title of greatness.
Because he stood tall and never stopped.
He defeated the empire’s most elite warriors, never hesitating when striking, crisp and decisive!
He never formed factions, remaining solitary, aloof, and powerful!
...
The great Hillel was pondering a question at this moment: could there be no residual scourge virus inside his body?
Why hadn’t these Viltrumites been infected yet?
