"....."

My body felt slightly numb. The cold was intense enough that it could freeze anyone’s body if they weren’t using Mana.

"Ah... this is uncomfortable."

While I had spent a total of 192 days inside the Memory Gate...

Only eight days had passed in the outside world.

That meant my body had remained in the same position for eight whole days.

It felt slightly stiff and uncomfortable because I had been inside Williams’ body, which had physical differences compared to my own.

Leaving a Memory Gate was like having to get used to your own body again, as if it no longer belonged to you.

"Here I go."

I stood up from the ground while using Mana to regulate my body temperature.

Then I changed my clothes, and after a minute, I stepped outside.

I was inside a tent I had brought to those mountains.

After leaving, I stretched my body and jogged a little while getting accustomed to my body again.

Finally, after a few minutes, I sat down on a log in front of the snow-covered campfire I had left behind.

I used Gravity, causing the snow to float into the air. Then I moved it aside and let it fall to the ground.

Afterward, I took some pieces of wood and charcoal from my Inventory. Then, using a lighter, I lit the campfire.

’Although my body no longer needs food because of the Divine Body.’

However, that wasn’t an excuse to live without eating, right?

So I took out the meat I had stored in my Inventory and placed it over the fire.

After cooking it for a while, I took a bite.

"Ah... Mhm, this feels good."

The food inside the Memory Gate was fake to me. It had no taste; it was like putting something into my mouth that tasted absolutely like nothing.

And yes, I had truly missed meat and, of course, coffee.

’When I return to the Imperial Capital, I need to visit that café.’

I finished eating and then let out a sigh.

White lines began drawing the surroundings around me.

Honestly, I would miss being able to see the world around me.

My current self was like a blind person who used a Trait to draw white lines and perceive, more or less, what was around him.

In any case, being able to see again while inhabiting Williams’ body was refreshing in its own way.

’Anyway, then I should read the information about my new Unique Traits, shouldn’t I?’

With a thought, two system windows appeared in my imagination.

——————————

Name: Manipulation.

Category: Unique Trait.

Description: Congratulations. You possess the ability to control other people’s minds as if they were your slaves.

Passive Effect.

[Passive]-[Only the Truth: By maintaining mental control over any living being, you can force them to speak only the truth.]

Active Effects.

[Active]-[Command Decree: You can give an order to anyone under your control.]

[Active]-[Mind Control: You can control the mind of any living being. However, it will only work on those whose Mana capacity is lower than yours.]

[Active]-[Mental Slavery: You can turn any living being into a slave as long as the requirements are met.]

Note: The requirements for turning someone into a slave will appear whenever you desire.

——————————

"Mhm, it’s quite an interesting Trait."

This Trait could easily replace the Slavery and Loyalty Scrolls.

If there was one drawback, it would be that I couldn’t control the mind or enslave someone who was stronger than me in terms of total Mana capacity.

When it referred to Mana capacity, it was talking about the "%" that appeared in the Mana stat.

For example, if a Six-Star Awakened had a Mana capacity of 0.01%.

And I, as a Five-Star Awakened, had a Mana capacity of 99.99%.

Mental Slavery or Mind Control would not work.

The issue lay in that 0.01% difference. With only that small gap, Mind Control or Mental Slavery would become impossible.

’And, of course, the main attraction is the Passive effect.’

Anyone under my mental control would only be able to tell me the absolute truth.

Personally, that was the most useful part of this Trait.

My master had told me about this Trait, and that was the reason I completed Raon Rosenberg’s story.

Otherwise, I simply would have focused on my training from beginning to end.

’Well, rather than being worth it, it’s just extremely useful for the future.’

I nodded inwardly. Then I made the System Window disappear and proceeded to read the other one.

The name of this Unique Trait caught my attention, which was why I had selected it.

——————————

Name: Sword Flow

Category: Unique Trait.

Description: The state of "I am the Sword, and the Sword is Me" is said to be a Sword Art, but in reality, it is a Unique Trait.

Passive Effects.

[Passive]-[Body of the Sword: Your mind and the sword merge, allowing you to feel your sword as if it were one of your limbs.]

[Passive]-[Concentration: When using a sword, your mind enters a state of 95% concentration.]

Active Effects.

[Active]-[Sword Resonance: Mana and the sword can now circulate as if the sword were an extension of your body.]

Note: Be careful when using this Unique Trait excessively. You may eventually come to believe that your sword is a part of your body.

——————————

"Mhm..."

It was certainly an interesting Unique Trait.

Its main characteristics were concentration, improved Mana flow toward a specific sword, and the ability to feel as if the sword were a part of my body.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what kind of help I could obtain from this Trait.

But the concentration and the Mana circulation with my sword were the most noticeable aspects.

’Now I can make full use of my sword... no.’

The Mana circulation with Inverted Heaven was certainly impressive, considering it was a Mythical Rank Sword.

However, this Trait didn’t just increase that characteristic of my sword; it would now allow me to achieve even greater efficiency.

’Now that I think about it, this Unique Trait seems extremely difficult to awaken, doesn’t it?’

I doubted that just anyone could turn their sword into a part of their body, metaphorically speaking, of course, not literally.

So, I finally checked the amount of Mana I currently possessed.

I had felt an overwhelming amount of Mana inside me the moment I left the Memory Gate.

↳ Mana -〖★★★★★/74.96%〗-〖Stage/Advanced〗

"...."

’My progress has slowed down, huh.’

Well, that was only natural. The closer I got to Stage/Peak, the slower my Mana absorption would become.

Although, considering my absorption speed thanks to my Divine Body, it was still surprisingly fast.

I spent nearly seven months inside the Memory Gate, and according to the average among the most talented...

...I was at least almost four times faster.

That was considering my Divine Body absorbed Mana on its own, not because I actively wanted it to.

If I absorbed Mana myself, that progress could accelerate by another 1.8 times.

"Ugh... Ah, alright, it’s time to leave."

I extended my hand, and the next moment, the tent entered my Inventory along with everything inside it.

Then, using Gravity, I moved half a cubic meter of dirt and dropped it over the campfire.

Finally, I stored the tree logs inside my Inventory.

Then I took my sword out of my Inventory and placed it inside the sheath at my waist.

"First, I’ll go to Mia’s potion shop to receive Astella’s report about the Abraham Clan, and then I’ll go see my sister."

And lastly, I would return to the Academy dormitories, since the next event was the Atlas Seminar.

It was a place where theses regarding magic, magical engineering, alchemy, and other disciplines were presented in order to receive funding.

Additionally, according to Professor Ashly, there would be a competition among the participants, where Lumina and I would take part to obtain the prize.

Which, of course, was an Elixir that increased Mana.

However, the main objective of the Atlas Seminar was to prevent Professor Ashly’s death.

’And, of course, I won’t allow her to die. I owe her quite a lot for everything she has done during my time at the Academy.’

With that thought, I began walking calmly.

However...

"....."

At that moment, a Spirit appeared before me. She had her arms crossed while staring at me intently.

"What is it, master?"

"....."

My master flew toward me, spinning around several times before hovering just a few centimeters away from my face.

Then she closed her eyes and sniffed me.

"...."

’I should return her to the sword.’

That thought crossed my mind, but then...

"Disciple, do you remember what I told you about feeling a strange attraction toward you?"

I nodded slightly.

"Well, compared to when you were in Williams’ body and now with your real body... the difference is truly enormous."

"And it would be a lie if I said this body doesn’t feel excited just by being near you."

"...."

My mind went completely blank at that moment.
