The Billionaire's Heir I Never Knew Was Mine
Chapter 251: Don’t Waste Sienna’s Money
At The Corner Table, in the evening.
As soon as Sienna arrived at The Corner Table with Ava and Mia, the three of them immediately sensed that something was different about their favorite restaurant.
At this hour, the dining room was usually filled with customers enjoying dinner, accompanied by the soft sound of conversations and clinking glasses. Tonight, however, every table was empty. The lights were on, the music played quietly in the background, and the staff stood in their usual positions, yet there wasn’t a single guest in sight.
Mia frowned in confusion. "Are they closed?" she asked as she hurried toward the entrance.
Sienna followed right behind her and shook her head. "Huh? They don’t close this early."
Ava, who had just finished parking her car, caught up with them and looked through the large glass windows.
"Let’s go inside," she said curiously.
The three women stepped into the restaurant together.
The moment they entered, Sienna immediately recognized the restaurant manager she had met last time while she came with Zachary. He was already standing near the entrance with a welcoming smile, as though he had been waiting specifically for them.
The sight instantly reminded her of her husband, who had booked the entire restaurant for their date.
’Oh no...’ Her heart skipped a beat. ’Zach couldn’t have reserved the entire restaurant again... could he?’
Even thinking about it made goosebumps spread across her arms. She had a strong feeling she already knew the answer, and if she was right, Ava and Mia would never let her forget it.
The manager smiled politely.
"Welcome to the Corner Table, Mrs—"
Before he could continue, Sienna quickly gave him a subtle shake of her head.
The manager paused, looking slightly confused.
Without giving him a chance to accidentally reveal anything, Sienna casually placed one arm around Ava’s shoulders and the other around Mia’s.
"Come on," she said with a smile. "Let’s sit at our favorite table."
She gently guided them toward the familiar corner of the restaurant before glancing back at the manager.
"We’ll order in a little while, sir."
The manager immediately understood.
"Of course, ma’am."
Thankfully, neither Ava nor Mia noticed the silent exchange. The two of them were already too busy flipping through the beautifully designed leather-bound menus.
Sienna quietly let out a sigh of relief before taking her seat. "Order whatever you want," she said with a playful smile. "Tonight I’m going to abuse my credit card."
That immediately caught Mia’s attention.
"Really?"
Sienna nodded confidently.
"Really."
While Ava and Mia continued discussing the menu, Sienna quietly slipped her phone out of her handbag beneath the table.
She needed to confirm her suspicion.
Her fingers quickly typed a message.
"Zach, did you book the entire Corner Table restaurant?"
Only a short moment passed before her phone vibrated.
She opened the reply.
"Yes. I wanted you to enjoy your farewell dinner peacefully."
Sienna couldn’t stop herself from smiling.
’Seriously...’ She gently rubbed her forehead. ’Why does he always have to spend so much money? He seems so reckless with money.’
Even though she silently complained, she couldn’t deny how touched she felt.
He hadn’t done it to show off.
He simply wanted her to enjoy the evening without interruptions.
Knowing Zachary, he had probably arranged everything without expecting any praise.
Smiling to herself, Sienna slipped her phone back into her bag without replying. She decided she would thank him properly later.
"So..." Mia suddenly said, pointing excitedly at one page of the menu. "Can we order this?"
Sienna looked over.
Mia was pointing at a bottle of Château Margaux Premier Grand Cru Classé 2015, one of the restaurant’s most expensive wines.
Sienna laughed.
"Sure."
Mia’s eyes sparkled immediately. "Really?"
"You can order anything tonight." Sienna smiled before glancing at the seafood section of the menu. "If you’ve never tried them before, you should order the Imperial Oscietra Caviar with Blinis and the Butter-Poached Atlantic Scallops with Truffle Cream. I heard they’re amazing."
Ava burst into laughter. "You really mean it."
"I do."
Mia immediately raised both thumbs toward Sienna. "You’re the best, Sienna!" She looked back at the menu with renewed determination. "Tonight I’m not going to feel guilty about ordering the expensive dishes."
Ava laughed and nudged her lightly. "They’re delicious, but don’t waste Sienna’s money."
Mia pouted dramatically before sighing.
"Fine..." She scanned the menu again before grinning. "I’ll order the Dry-Aged Prime T-Bone Steak with Black Truffle Butter instead."
"That sounds much more reasonable," Ava teased.
Sienna simply smiled. In truth, she wasn’t worried about the bill at all. Since Zachary had already reserved the entire restaurant, she was certain he had taken care of the payment as well. So, whether they ordered the least expensive pasta or the most luxurious dinner on the menu wouldn’t make any difference tonight.
Before Sienna could decide what she wanted, the restaurant door opened once more.
She instinctively looked toward the entrance. A familiar face walked inside.
"Riley!" She waved enthusiastically. "Over here!"
Riley looked up and smiled the moment he spotted them.
As he walked closer, Sienna noticed the exhaustion on his face. Although he smiled as usual, there were faint shadows beneath his eyes, making it obvious he hadn’t been getting enough rest.
"You look exhausted," she said with concern after he reached their table. "Did something happen at the office?"
After greeting Ava and Mia with a polite smile, Riley pulled out a chair and sat across from Sienna.
He let out a quiet sigh.
"Work," he answered with a tired smile. "We’re preparing for a huge project, so I barely have time to breathe these days, let alone relax like this."
He reached for the glass pitcher of water in the center of the table.
First, he poured himself a glass.
Then, without thinking twice, he filled Sienna’s glass before placing the pitcher back.
After taking a long drink, he picked up the menu from beside Sienna.
"So," he asked, "have you all decided?"
"Almost," Mia replied. "Hurry up and choose something so we can finally order."
Riley opened the menu for only a brief moment before closing it again with a tired smile.
"I’ll just have whatever Mia ordered."
Mia blinked. "Do you trust my taste that much?"
"I trust anyone willing to decide for me tonight," Riley admitted with a weak laugh.
The exhaustion in his voice didn’t escape Sienna. She quietly watched him for a moment.
