"Then why did you say those things just now?" Samara asked discontentedly.

"I just wanted to see you. You’ve been ignoring me lately, so I thought of this trick."

"..."

"Your sister is like my sister. How could I not be occupied? Don’t you cry..."

Aaron Faber realized that after falling in love with Samara, his seniority seemed lower. Sienna Johnson was even younger than him, yet he had to call her Sister.

Sigh...

These words didn’t sound quite right, and Samara didn’t know how to retort, so she went along with Aaron’s words,

"My brother-in-law is looking for you, seems quite urgent. You should leave tonight."

Aaron, taking advantage of the situation, hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. Samara frowned but didn’t say anything, just showed slight displeasure.

This was like "boiling a frog in warm water"; he took advantage of her repeatedly until she gradually accepted it. Of course, acceptance was inevitable.

"But, I want to see more of you." Aaron smiled, looking at the beauty in his arms, "You ignored me for days, now that you finally do, how could I bear to leave now?"

"You..."

"I can leave now, but you have to promise me one thing?"

"What is it?"

Samara was completely led by the nose by Aaron; her scheming and depth were no match for his. Aaron tricked her effortlessly.

"Promise to be my girlfriend!"

Samara looked at Aaron in shock, "I’m still a minor, how can I be in a relationship?"

In Orienta, late marriage and childbirth were practiced. Girls matured at 18, and marriage was legal at 20, the latest marrying age worldwide.

"At what age is it okay to date then?"

"Not until after 18 at least."

Aaron set traps step by step for Samara to fall into, saying, "Alright, after your 18th birthday, you’ll be my girlfriend."

"I didn’t agree!"

Aaron let her go, and the smile disappeared from his face, "Your sister has been missing for almost a month now, hasn’t she?"

"Hmm." Samara bit her lip, responding softly.

"Missing for so long, who knows what might have happened?"

Samara looked even more worried, and Aaron continued, "You know the longer a person is missing, the harder they are to find, don’t you?

Your sister has been missing for so long..."

"Are you saying my sister can’t be found?"

"If everyone helps your brother-in-law look, naturally she can be found... I heard from Marion that there are clues about your sister, and your brother-in-law is so anxious to have me go, must be needing my help..."

After saying this, Aaron turned and walked towards his room.

"When are you returning to Abyanabad?"

This man clearly intended to leverage the favor to push her into agreeing to be his girlfriend, and Samara felt frustrated.

Samara chased up to him; the room door was open. In Aaron’s room, five display screens were on with lines of dense code that made Samara’s head hurt.

"Please help my brother-in-law. The twins are so young and haven’t seen their mom for so long, it’s pitiful... And my brother-in-law, he’s lost weight since coming back." Samara stood behind Aaron, speaking cautiously.

Aaron said nothing, just sat there focused on his code.

"Say something?"

Without raising his head, Aaron said, "I’ve made myself clear earlier; whether to help or not is up to you, not me."

Samara had rejected this man many times, unable to understand his persistence.

"We are not suitable."

"I think we’re quite suitable. You’re silly, I’m smart, combining our intelligence, our child won’t be a fool."

"Haven’t you heard that a child’s intelligence follows the mother? It won’t be neutral, intelligence from me, looks from you, what if it’s ugly and dumb?"

Aaron: Where is he ugly?

Aaron turned his chair to face Samara, frowning as he thought over her words, "You have a point."

"So you should find someone both beautiful and intelligent. Otherwise, your excellent genes would be wasted."

Aaron said, "You say you don’t like me, yet you’re already worrying about our child’s intelligence."

Flushing, Samara continued to refuse, "Besides, you’re so much older than me. Three years is a generation gap, we’d have four or five, right?

You’re also a foreigner, if I marry you, wouldn’t I return home just once a year?"

Samara shook her head, "That won’t work, I won’t leave my family. Even if I marry, I’ll find someone local. I want to go home whenever I want."

As Aaron’s expression grew increasingly sullen, Samara tentatively asked, "How about this, you be my brother!"

Aaron got angry and swore, "Have you seen a brother who wants to screw his own sister every day?"

Samara’s face turned red; she hadn’t expected such coarse language from him. She looked down, no longer looking at him, "If you keep speaking like that, I will ignore you."

"The door is there, help yourself!"

Spinning his chair back, Aaron continued staring at his computer screen, writing code, completely ignoring Samara.

Previously, Aaron always stuck to Samara; whenever she said such things, he would cling persistently, nothing like his current coldness.

Samara felt very uncomfortable inside.

If she didn’t need anything from him, she would have left long ago.

Aaron’s heart was pounding; although staring at the computer screen, he wasn’t really seeing it, having already made several mistakes in his coding.

This move was called "advance by retreat," something he learned from the military texts of Orienta, though unsure if it worked.

"If I agree to be your girlfriend, you’ll help my brother-in-law find my sister?" Samara asked.

"Hmm."

"Then I’ll be your girlfriend when I turn 18," Samara conceded.

The computer screen could reflect, and Aaron saw Samara’s expression; all her little thoughts were written on her face, and Aaron understood everything.

This woman was playing mind games with him.

Ha ha...

She agreed so easily, probably thinking boyfriends were abundant, that after a few days she could propose breaking up.

Quite the wishful thinking!

"If you become a woman of an Abyanabad man, you’ll belong to that man for life! You thought it through?"

As expected, Samara discontentedly said, "How can that be? If two people’s personalities clash and feelings break, can’t they divorce?"

"No!" Aaron said decisively.

"How can that be?"

"That’s how it is!"

The code was all wrong, with the system continuously alerting errors, and Aaron’s efforts for the day were in vain.

What did he do in his past life to fall into the hands of this little girl?

Having remained silent for a while, Samara’s presence was barely felt as Aaron abruptly turned and said, "Have you thought it through, I..."

Where was Samara? He quickly glanced at the door to see her already reaching it.
