Chu Jiahang received the meal box Jian Dan handed over with both hands, his eyes moistening.

"What brought this on suddenly?" Jian Dan was slightly caught off guard.

"I just thought of my sister, it feels like the bread that never reached my hand back then has finally been given to me today."

Jian Dan raised her hand and touched Chu Jiahang’s head, looking at the boy in front of her with some heartache.
