After finishing speaking, that person didn’t forget to spit at Chu Ge, "The wheel of fortune turns. Do you really think the military camp is your Beggar Gang? You dare to act wild here, now you’ve fallen flat on your face."

Chu Ge glanced at him with cold eyes, without saying a word.

After he left, Chu Ge turned to look at the Old Gang Leader, who had closed his eyes as if really asleep.

But he knew, at this moment, the Old Gang Leader was definitely not asleep.

Perhaps Chu Ge stared at the Old Gang Leader for too long, and the Old Gang Leader sensed something, he slowly opened his eyes, looked at Chu Ge, and sighed, "There’s no point in being anxious right now, we might as well watch quietly and see what happens."

What the Old Gang Leader said was indeed correct, but Chu Ge couldn’t help but feel restless inside. He sat cross-legged and slowly exhaled.

He was well aware that the more critical the moment, the less one could afford to be careless. Now they were detained, and indeed, being anxious wouldn’t help.

Just that now the Old Gang Leader seemed a bit overly quiet, a quietness he wasn’t quite used to.

Chu Ge lifted his gaze to the sky, stars twinkling—since arriving in this time and space, he lost all sense of time, living a life of rising with the sun and resting with its setting. In fact, this kind of life was quite pleasant.

Just that his eagerness to return home disrupted his enjoyment of the surrounding scenery.

Chu Ge didn’t speak again, the Old Gang Leader lifted his gaze slightly to glance at him, the thick night concealed the heavy expressions on his face.

The Old Gang Leader kept recalling the events that happened in the cave, now they were like arrows on a drawn bow, ready to be released.

Whether this arrow could be shot depended on the situation with the Prince.

While the two were pondering, a rush of footsteps accompanied by an anxious shout came over.

Feng Luo ran hurriedly to the Old Gang Leader, "Old Gang Leader, what’s going on? How did you go out and come back as prisoners?"

The Old Gang Leader coughed lightly, "It’s nothing, it’s nothing. Who knows what the Prince is thinking."

"They say you went to the Forbidden Land?" Feng Luo asked puzzled, "What were you doing going to the Forbidden Land?"

"Didn’t go to the Forbidden Land, why would we go to the Forbidden Land? We just went to..."

"Doing what!"

When Feng Luo rushed over, the soldiers on guard were just changing shifts and didn’t notice her. Now the shift change was complete, seeing Feng Luo approaching, they hurriedly walked over with stern expressions to scold her.

"Stay away from here, no visiting the prisoners!"

Feng Luo pouted, "Just a cage made of a few wooden planks that you call a prison? Never mind the Old Gang Leader, even I could break it open with a kick! What’s the point of this thing!"

Her voice was not loud, mumbling softly, but the Old Gang Leader nearby heard it clearly.

He cleared his throat, gestured with his eyes to Feng Luo, "We’re in here, don’t cause any more trouble, alright, we won’t be harmed, you should go back now."

The Old Gang Leader instructed, "Remember, absolutely do not cause any more trouble, and definitely don’t go looking for the Prince, understood?"

Feng Luo felt downcast, "How did you know I was planning to go ask the Prince for release? You’re really good at guessing!"

"Hmph, I don’t know you? You’re always so reckless in your actions. Even if you go ask the Prince for release, do you think you can succeed? You know what kind of person the Prince is, you’ve dealt with him for so many years, does he reason with you?"

Feng Luo didn’t speak, but her heart agreed immensely with the Old Gang Leader’s words. These years, when did the Prince ever reason with anyone—it was always power crushing people.

"Then what should we do? If he really imposes a random charge, wouldn’t it mean... We’d all be done for!"

The Old Gang Leader pondered briefly, then said to Feng Luo, "Go help pass a message."

He paused, "Remember, not to the Prince, but among the soldiers."

What the Old Gang Leader said to Feng Luo, Chu Ge didn’t know, nor did he ask the Old Gang Leader. Two hours after Feng Luo left, someone came to summon the Old Gang Leader.

The Old Gang Leader smiled at Chu Ge, "See, there’s no need to rush in all matters, there will always be a way."

Chu Ge felt bewildered, he stood up thinking he was going out too, but was suddenly stopped, "The Prince only summoned the Old Gang Leader, you stay put here."

"It’s okay, you stay here, I’ll be right back."

The Old Gang Leader turned to speak to him.

In the Prince’s tent, the lights were bright, besides the Prince, there was a man standing there with a displeased face in civilian clothes.

That person was none other than Ru Xue, she had come disguised as a man, but witnessed the scene of Chu Ge and the Old Gang Leader being captured, and was caught as well, but she was brought to the Prince’s tent.

"Prince, I was just missing you so much."

Ru Xue walked up charmingly, even though dressed as a man, she exuded a captivating charm.

She glanced flirtatiously at the Prince, lightly touching his chest a few times with small hands, twisted her body saying, "Prince, don’t you miss me at all? It’s so lonely and sleepless at night."

She moved forward, rubbing against the Prince, while speaking she blew softly into the Prince’s ear, but because he was tall, it landed on his neck.

Even so, the Prince hadn’t indulged for several days, now teased by Ru Xue, he reacted.

He reversed and embraced Ru Xue, striding to the desk and directly placing Ru Xue on it.

Ru Xue felt a bit hurt from the bump, she glaringly pouted at the Prince, "Prince, you’ve hurt me."

"Oh?" The Prince’s deep voice carried some restraint, "In a moment, I’ll make it up to you."

When the Old Gang Leader arrived, seeing no guards at the tent entrance, felt puzzled, since when had the Prince become so careless, that he actually withdrew everyone from here.

Just as he reached the door, he heard the heavy panting and enchanting cries of a woman coming from inside.

He instantly understood, the Old Gang Leader awkwardly cleared his throat, "Definitely not the right time."

At this moment, barging in would ruin their pleasure, it’d cost him three years of his life.

The Old Gang Leader stroked his chin, deciding to wait outside for a while.
