While Yu Zhun was admiring the Divine Revelation Hall, a scar-faced man stood calmly at the top of the hall’s highest spire, looking down. His gaze landed directly on Yu Zhun at the entrance.

Under those eagle-like, sharp eyes, the effect of the [Concealing Mask] seemed non-existent. The man could clearly see the shockingly red title hovering above Yu Zhun’s head: [Nether General].

A moment later, a hint of amusement and anticipation surfaced in his eyes before he vanished from his spot.

"I want to unlock a Life Profession," Yu Zhun replied with a smile. "Could you tell me where I should go?"

"Please follow me this way." She smiled back, leading him into a branch hall of the Divine Revelation Hall.

Inside this branch hall lay four Arrays. They were quite similar in appearance, yet each featured distinctly different intricate patterns. In the center of the four Arrays stood a counter, behind which sat a stern-looking, gray-haired old man.

At that moment, a line of over a dozen people was queued up at the counter. Just as Yu Zhun walked in, the young man at the front of the line stepped away and headed straight for one of the Arrays.

The Array activated, and amid a flash of Light, the young man successfully unlocked his Life Profession.

"Please wait in line," the female staff member added with a smile. "Mr. Connor has a bit of a temper, but he’s a good person. There’s no need to be nervous."

"Is Mr. Connor that old man behind the counter?" Yu Zhun wondered.

He glanced over. The old man had striking azure eyes, and his facial features indeed looked quite different from the people of the Yanhuang Alliance.

However, since Blue Star’s languages had long been unified, communication wouldn’t be an issue.

Yu Zhun quietly took his place at the back of the line. As he waited, he watched the players ahead of him step into one of the four Arrays, completing their Life Profession awakenings as the Arrays flared to life.

Clearly, these four Arrays corresponded to the four available Life Professions.

However, there was a stark contrast in the players’ choices.

Nearly half of the players chose a specific Array, while the remainder split themselves between two others. The very last Array was completely ignored.

Soon, it was Yu Zhun’s turn.

The old man behind the counter glanced at him and spoke slowly. "Are you certain you’ve reached Lv15 and haven’t unlocked a Life Profession yet?

"If you don’t meet the requirements, leave on your own. Otherwise, if you enter the Array and anything goes wrong, you’ll bear the consequences yourself!"

The old man’s tone was rather abrasive; it was no wonder the female staff member had specifically warned him earlier.

"Then which Profession do you want to choose?"

"Enhancer."

"Enhancer?" The old man eyed Yu Zhun and scoffed. "Kid, did you do any prior research on Life Professions?"

"Of course I did," Yu Zhun nodded.

The old man couldn’t help but shake his head. "Since you know about them, then you should know that the Enhancer is the biggest money sink among the four Life Professions.

"An Enhancer’s Enhancement Success rate is directly correlated to their Life Profession level. If you want to increase your success rate, the only way is to gain experience through continuous Enhancement. There is no other shortcut.

"This Profession is an absolute bottomless pit when it comes to burning money.

"Although an Alchemist or a Blacksmith also relies on success rates, recipes are far more important to them. If they develop special recipes that yield highly effective Magic Potions or Equipment, a lower success rate doesn’t matter as much.

"As for Chefs, they have the lowest barrier to entry among Life Professions. Once unlocked, it’s very easy to pick up.

"You naive kid, I advise you to beat it. Come back once you actually understand what you’re getting yourself into!"

As he spoke, the old man pointed at each of the four Arrays in turn, letting Yu Zhun know which Life Profession each one corresponded to.

On the Enhancer panel, Luck was the sole attribute. Compared to the Assassin’s six attributes, Enhancement only required this single one.

As an Enhancer leveled up, their Luck would continuously increase, which in turn would directly affect the efficacy of their Profession Skills.

Profession Skills could not be leveled up.

Additionally, Life Professions didn’t require Equipment like combat Professions did.

However, certain items could assist in Life Professions.

For instance, the Lucky Talisman Yu Zhun had obtained from the Nether Trial.
