That's How We Necromancers Do Things

Chapter 389: Chapter 133: A Complete Victory! Lynch’s Great Gains
To put it simply—she was rich.
When the army’s allocated supplies were scarce, she would pay out of her own pocket to purchase or forge superior weapons and armor to distribute to the soldiers under her command. She also hired merchant caravans to gather supplies specifically for her.
As a result, every soldier in the Sixth Battle Battalion was clad in fine steel Armor and wielded a sharp Longsword. The quality of their equipment was so superb that it even surpassed that of the Iron Wall Battle Group’s main force.
Second, as a Necromancer, she could also pay out of her own pocket to purchase all sorts of high-quality corpses from allied forces.
She converted most of those corpses into a Zombie Corps, Skeleton Cavalry, Skeleton Infantry, and Skeleton Archers. There were even a considerable number of Skeleton Mages, as well as a small number of Ghost Units.
In terms of Undead Units alone, it could be said that aside from the ridiculously overpowered Lynch, she had pushed the potential of a Necromancer of her tier to its absolute limit.
At this moment, as she led the five hundred soldiers of the Sixth Battle Battalion and several hundred assorted Undead Units from her Undead Corps into the Blue Scarf camp, their advance was unstoppable, their momentum overwhelming.
"For Miss Hayes! Kill!"
"For the glory of Death’s Violet!"
Those five hundred soldiers, their armor gleaming, were valiant and fearless. They shouted slogans in unison, their morale soaring.
Wielding their various weapons like a whirlwind, they cut down the Blue Scarf soldiers before they could even react, sending them scattering in chaos, casting aside their helmets and armor.
Meanwhile, the attack on the right flank was led by Catherine Adela and her support force from Lakefront Town.
This force included three hundred elite Human Race soldiers from Lakefront Town, led by a Tier Four instructor like Cam Leisuo and a host of Tier Three experts.
Lakefront Town was famously wealthy, rich in both iron ore and arms manufacturing. Though few in number, these elite soldiers boasted top-tier weapons and equipment, on par with the troops under Amadis Hayes.
Additionally, there was a company of four hundred well-trained militia musketeers.
They formed neat lines behind the three hundred elites and the Zombie Corps, advancing and firing in disciplined volleys.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
With every volley, swathes of Blue Scarf soldiers collapsed.
Even more terrifying, Catherine also commanded Ghost Yi, a Tier Four Undead Unit, as well as a Corpse Demon and a portion of her Zombie Corps.
The Skeleton Corps, led by the three Skeleton Mages—Bone-Mancer, Bone-Curse, and Blood-Claw—also wreaked havoc across the battlefield, continuously unleashing all kinds of Magic and reaping the enemy’s lives.
The overall strength of this support force was in no way inferior to Amadis’s; if anything, it was even stronger.
"For Miss Catherine, charge! We can’t let her lose to Miss Amadis!"
"Long live the Holy Light Ice Rose! For the glory of Lakefront Town!"
The soldiers shouted their own slogans, their morale soaring.
Apparently, the tale of "Holy Light Ice Rose" and "Death’s Violet" vying for Lord Lynch’s favor had, at some point, started circulating around Lakefront Town.
In their eyes, their lord would naturally have them both.
However... since Death’s Violet’s side was advancing so fiercely, they were determined not to be outdone. For the sake of their commander, Miss Catherine, and for Lord Lynch’s honor, they would absolutely not lose out on the glory of this battle to Death’s Violet.
The left and right flanks advanced unstoppably, plunging like two sharp daggers into the heart of the Blue Scarf Alliance Army.
Meanwhile, in the center, Leonard—the commoner-born, Tier Five Shield Warrior and commander of the Iron Wall Battle Group—was directing his main force forward. Seeing this, he was filled with a mix of excitement and exasperation.
He was excited because after being pinned down by the Blue Scarf Alliance Army and forced to cower for so long, they were finally launching a full, unstoppable counterattack. It was a vindicating and immensely satisfying feeling.
His exasperation, however, stemmed from the fact that the two to three thousand men he commanded in the center army were showing far less momentum than the two flanks.
The elite heavy infantry he was normally so proud of seemed completely lackluster, outshone by the two female commanders. In fact, they were dragging down the entire offensive’s momentum.
"Damn it!"
Leonard watched the two flanks carve through the enemy with ease, then glanced back at his own sluggish advance. His face flushed, and he finally couldn’t stop himself from roaring.
"Haven’t you eaten?! Look at the Sixth Battle Battalion! Look at our brothers from Lakefront Town! If you let two women show you up, you’ll all be on latrine duty when we get back! You hear me?!"
"For the glory of the Iron Wall Battle Group! Charge!"
"We can’t lose to a bunch of women! Charge!"
In an instant, the center army’s morale finally surged. With bloodshot eyes, the soldiers roared and quickened their pace, barely managing to keep up with the two flanks.
Attacked from three sides, chaos bloomed both within and without the enemy lines.
In just a few moments, the Blue Scarf Alliance Army’s camp was plunged into absolute chaos and despair.
Facing this onslaught of internal and external threats, the commander of the Iron Fang Battle Group felt himself sway, sensing that all was lost.
"Hold the line! Hold the fucking line—!"
he shrieked, his voice hoarse and desperate, trying to use his last shred of authority to steady his men’s morale.
He himself, however, surrounded by his Personal Guard and elite soldiers, was already using the chaos as cover to quietly retreat toward the rear of the camp.
’As long as I can escape... as long as I can make it back to my Iron Fang Castle... I’ll have a chance to make a comeback...’
The commander of the Iron Fang Battle Group schemed to himself, his pace quickening.
However, he had no idea that he was already being watched.
High in the air, the ghostly green Soul Fire in Xuan Yi’s eyes coldly locked onto the burly, retreating figure.
