Chapter 371: Chapter 130: Just How Many Good Moms Do You Have!?

If it weren’t for the sinister glint that occasionally flashed in his eyes, the man would have looked like an orthodox Holy Knight who strictly abided by the faith.

This was "Blood Hand" Johnny.

A Tier Five Fallen Paladin, battle group leader of the Bloody Cross Group, and one of the key figures for the Blue Scarf in Sardinia Province.

At this moment, he sat with his eyes slightly closed, his fingers drumming softly on the tabletop, seemingly waiting for something.

Seated to his right was a slender, middle-aged man.

He wore a suit of leather armor that pulsed with Magic, and two long, narrow scimitars hung at his waist. His entire demeanor was one of sharp vigilance.

On his shoulder perched a large bird with ice-blue feathers. The bird was observing everyone in the tent with its amber eyes, occasionally tilting its head to preen its own feathers.

His name was Blue Crow.

He was the leader of the Blue Crow Battle Group, a Tier Four Peak Ranger who got his name from the Tier Three Frost Blue Crow he raised.

He was cunning by nature and specialized in guerrilla tactics and ambushes, earning him the nickname "Venomous Crow" within the Blue Scarf faction.

"Johnny," Blue Crow said, his voice laced with an urgency he couldn’t hide. "Are you sure this Mr. SK is reliable? We’ve been holed up in this godforsaken valley for nearly ten days, living on dry rations and cold water. The men are going stir-crazy."

The Frost Blue Crow on his shoulder let out a CAW, as if to echo its master’s words.

"What’s the rush?"

Johnny opened his eyes and glanced at him, his voice steady. "Since Mr. SK vouched for it, he has his reasons. His background is a mystery, but I’ve worked with him many times, and his intel has never once been wrong. If he says Lynch will send out his army, then he will send out his army."

Just as they were speaking...

FLUTTER, FLUTTER...

The sound of beating wings came from outside the tent.

A black raven then flew into the tent, landing on the desk in front of Johnny.

Blood Hand Johnny reached out, took a small brass tube from the raven’s leg, unscrewed it, and tipped out a small roll of parchment, which he slowly unfurled.

His gaze fell upon the paper, lingering for a few moments.

"What’s it say?" Blue Crow asked impatiently. "Did that Lynch kid finally send out his troops or not?"

The other high-ranking officers also pricked up their ears, their gazes burning as they stared at their leader.

Blood Hand Johnny said calmly, "Lynch of Lakefront Town has deployed his army."

Blue Crow snatched the parchment, his eyes quickly scanning the text, and then...

SMACK!

He slapped his palm on the table, making the map tremble violently as he roared with laughter. "Excellent, excellent! That fool Lynch, I can’t believe how stupid he is! He really dared to send troops to reinforce the Iron Wall Battle Group. And he fucking sent out all his elites! Three whole battalions, four hundred militia musketeers, and even the elite of his Undead Army."

As soon as he spoke, all the high-ranking officers’ faces lit up with joy, and they began to murmur excitedly among themselves.

Blood Hand Johnny stood up, picked up a wooden rod, and tapped the map twice.

"Gentlemen, according to our scouts, Lynch’s reinforcements for the Iron Wall Battle Group are already past the halfway point of their march. They won’t be able to turn back in time."

"And that fat bastard Raymond recently led the main force of the Thirteenth Battle Group into Lorraine Province. Right now, they’re tied up in Black Rock Tribe’s territory, fighting a messy war against those Beastmen, centaurs, and our comrades from the Brotherhood. Even if he gets the news, there’s no way he can disengage quickly."

He raised his head, his gaze sweeping over everyone present.

"Gentlemen, tell me, right here, right now..." He said, word by word, his voice thick with suppressed emotion, "who is left to defend the Red Ridge Mountain region?"

The tent fell silent for a moment.

The group of high-ranking officers looked at each other.

Finally, Blue Crow, his second-in-command, was the first to speak. His voice was filled with unconcealable excitement. "No one."

The smile on Johnny’s lips deepened.

"That’s right."

His wooden rod jabbed down heavily on the small dot on the map representing Lakefront Town, his tone filled with the grand confidence of a commander shaping a battlefield. "Right now, the Red Ridge Mountain region is nothing but an empty shell."

"Raymond’s main force is in Lorraine, and Lynch’s main force has gone to Grey Stone. All that’s left in the entire Red Ridge Mountain region are some militia, the old and the weak, and a few ragtag troops not even worth mentioning."

"But we..."

He scanned the crowd, his eyes filled with confidence. "We have a full two thousand two hundred elite soldiers."

"Within half a day, we can reach Gray Claw Gorge."

"Within two days, we can pass through Gray Claw Gorge and enter the Red Ridge Mountain region."

He spoke deliberately, each word carrying a fiery intensity.

"Within four days, our forces will be at the gates of Lakefront Town!"

He slammed his fist down hard on the spot representing Lakefront Town on the map, letting out a dull THUD.

"As long as we’re fast enough, we can use a blitzkrieg to take Lakefront Town, and from that foothold, we can quickly sweep across the entire Red Ridge Mountain region."

He looked up, his burning gaze sweeping over the crowd. "By then, it won’t matter if it’s Lynch’s dispatched reinforcements or Raymond, who’s off mucking around with the Beastmen in Lorraine Province..."

"Even if they get the news, by the time they rush back, all of Red Ridge Mountain will have a new master!"

The tent was utterly silent.

Then...

"HELL YEAH!!!"

Blue Crow was the first to jump up, slamming his palm on the table and making the candlelight flicker.

"Brother Johnny, what you just said has my blood boiling with excitement!"

The other officers also rose to their feet, shouting and clamoring all at once.
