"It's fine. This is already more than good enough." Lynch didn't seem too disappointed.

While building the Moonlight Well would certainly require a massive investment of resources, in the long run, the benefits would far outweigh the drawbacks.

Lynch took the Moonstone, turning it over in his hand. It was warm and smooth to the touch, and he could clearly feel the tranquil lunar essence held within.

The sensation invigorated his weary mind.

He put away the Moonstone and turned back to Sea Song, instructing her, "These are not things you need to worry about. Your priority is to fully absorb what you've gained. Sea Song, focus on studying your inheritance and master your new power as quickly as possible. As for the Moonlight Well, I'll have Aus add its construction to our plans and prioritize gathering the necessary materials."

He glanced at the Moonfire Ring on his finger, feeling a great deal more secure.

'A new trump card, a future magical structure, and a core member who has received an ancient inheritance.'

'This trip to meet the "old witch"... oh, no, "my dear mother"... was a winding road, but the final result seems... pretty good?'

"Oh, right, my lord." Sea Song suddenly remembered something else. "Master Song of Elune also asked me to give you a message. She said that inside the ruins, aside from the 'Outer Safe Zone' that has been allocated to us, all other areas are temporarily off-limits."

Lynch nodded.

That had already been agreed upon. They were just starting out; having a piece of leased land was already an excellent start.

"Also," Sea Song continued, "Master Song of Elune specifically stressed that you are no longer permitted to harm or capture the ghosts in the ruins. She said they are the heroic souls of the Elf Warriors who once guarded the sanctuary. Even though they've lost their sentience, they are still her people. She will drive the ghosts out of our designated safe zone to avoid any conflict."

'No more catching ghosts?'

Lynch pouted, feeling a little disappointed.

Those ghosts were excellent scouts and special combat assets, especially a Tier Four like Ghost Yi. He was a rare find.

But he also understood that this was one of the Moon Priestess's non-negotiable terms.

After all, in a sense, those ghosts were her "lost subjects."

"Alright, then." Lynch waved his hand dismissively, not pushing the issue.

Besides, he already had three Ghost Units, which was enough for the time being. His Commanding Power was stretched thin as it was; he wasn't sure he could even control any more ghosts.

'I should just focus on leveling up for now. When I reach a higher tier and become stronger, perhaps other opportunities will present themselves.'

"Also," Sea Song said, glancing at the nearby Teleportation Gate, which had already shut down after its power was drained. "This teleportation consumed a massive amount of energy. The Magic Crystal Stones embedded in the Teleportation Gate's Array are completely depleted."

Hearing this, Lynch looked at the cracked remnants of the Magic Crystal Stones and couldn't help but grimace at the painful loss.

Even medium-grade Magic Energy Crystal Stones weren't cheap, and they were all gone after just a few uses. The consumption rate was staggering.

However, when he thought about the potential profits from all the "junk" inside the ruins, he decided the investment was still worthwhile.

"Aus." Lynch turned and said.

"My lord," Aus replied, stepping forward immediately.

"I'm putting you in charge of everything related to the ruins' safe zone—the exploration, initial cleanup, and any potential construction down the line," Lynch ordered. "Over the next while, I want you to select a group of people from the militia and the Ninth Battle Battalion. They must be loyal, reliable, and tight-lipped, and they must have established families and clean records here in Lakefront Town."

"Once you've chosen them, have them sign non-disclosure agreements before forming a dedicated exploration team to enter the Teleportation Gate. In the initial phase, their mission will be to map the area and clear out the debris. They are strictly forbidden from venturing into unauthorized zones. You will be in charge of coordinating all required supplies and Energy Crystal Stones."

"Yes, my lord!" Aus accepted the order solemnly, his eyes shining with excitement.

"Alright, this matter is concluded for now." Lynch rubbed his slightly throbbing temples. "You can handle the rest yourselves."

Lynch carried the drowsy Esther back to his room on the second floor of the garrison.

The little guy, Dragon Flame, was already exhausted from playing. He was sprawled out on his back in his soft, fur-lined nest, fast asleep with his belly exposed.

He grabbed a small blanket and draped it over the little one's stomach. Then, carrying Esther, he walked over to her special crystal coffin, carefully placed her inside, and thoughtfully closed the lid.

After finishing, he walked to his desk and sat down, his eyes catching the flashing light on his Magic Mailbox.

'Is that a message from Catherine?'

Lynch's spirits lifted. He immediately opened the mailbox and took out the Magic Letter.

His brow furrowed as he quickly scanned the letter's contents.

"Goblin Venture Capital Company... Blue Scarf Rebel Army... Warlock... Undead Demoness..."

The situation over in Angelo was far more complicated than he had anticipated.

The Undead Demoness, in particular, caught his attention.

He immediately dashed off a reply to Catherine.

Fearing that delays could bring new trouble, he decided to forgo sleep entirely. He pulled Esther right back out of her crystal coffin, mustered his forces, and immediately set out to reinforce the Angelo Mountain Range.

At the edge of the Angelo Crater, in the camp of the Giant Troll Stone Hammer Tribe.

Two days had passed.

As news of their victory spread, the Stone Hammer Tribe became famous among the Troll tribes.

The Chieftain of the Stone Hammer Tribe, Rock Breaker, seized the opportunity to put out a call. Under the pressure of survival, sixty to seventy Trolls from various other tribes soon trickled in to join them.
