Ten Lucky Draws: I Got Ten SSS-Rank Talents!
Chapter 109: Checking Panels
Leon stepped lightly across the shattered cobblestone of the canyon intersection, his boots crunching over the pulverized remnants of the Iron-Spine Ursas.
The ambient dust had finally settled, leaving behind a scene of absolute, one-sided devastation. The sheer trauma inflicted by his new Legendary axe, Epitaph, had essentially atomized the internal structures of his targets, leaving their dense, natural iron plating cracked and hollowed out like discarded husks.
He walked slowly toward the largest of the fallen beasts, the one whose neck he had effortlessly collapsed with a fractional tap of the blade.
As he approached the ruined carcass, his SSS-Rank Talent Devourer flared to life, a passive reflex of his absolute dominance over the battlefield. Faint, glowing motes of dense gray light began to seep from the pulverized remains of the entire pack, drawn magnetically toward Leon’s open palm.
Ding!
[Talent Devourer: Residual Talent Energy Detected: "Iron-Spine Density" (Fragments Available: 35)]
Leon evaluated the prompt. The Iron-Spine Ursas relied on massive kinetic resistance and natural heavy armor. While his Obsidian Carapace already provided excellent defensive mitigation, an additional layer of reactive physical hardening would synergize perfectly with his close-quarters brawling strategy.
"System," Leon commanded silently in his mind. "Extract all thirty-five fragments of Iron-Spine Density and fuse them into a single talent."
Ding!
[35 Fragments of "Iron-Spine Density" have been fused.]
[New Talent Acquired: Ironbound Retribution — Grade: A]
[Description: The user’s physical framework dynamically adapts to kinetic trauma. Upon receiving a physical strike, the user’s outer defensive layer instantly calcifies with the density of natural iron, severely mitigating the damage while simultaneously reflecting 30% of the raw kinetic force back onto the attacker in the form of a localized, invisible shockwave.]
Leon rolled his shoulders, feeling a subtle, grounding heaviness weave itself into his biological framework. It was an impeccable addition. If a monster or an enemy player managed to bypass his spatial rifts, dodge his domain, and slip past the Aegis of the Tempest, they would simply shatter their own bones against his reactive armor.
With the extraction complete, Leon swiped his hand through the air, summoning his system interface.

Leon read over the data, a profound sense of absolute readiness settling over him. His bonded beast, Auris, perfectly mirrored his Level 100 Steadfast status, their souls tethered together in an unbroken chain of catastrophic power.
Across the cratered cobblestone road, Snow Valestorm was leaning casually against Auris’s massive, steel armored foreleg. The Glacial Sovereign didn’t seem to mind her presence anymore, occasionally letting out a low, vibrating purr that rumbled the ground beneath her black boots.
Snow saw the faint golden reflection of the holographic panels dancing across Leon’s icy blue and golden eyes.
"Checking your stats, baby?" Snow called out, a bright, triumphant smile on her face. She pushed herself off the dragon’s armor and stretched her arms over her head. "That level-up felt absolutely amazing. Let’s see what Level 48 actually looks like."
She tapped the air in front of her, summoning her own system interface.
Leon closed his screens and turned his attention to his wife. He watched as her crystalline blue eyes scanned her newly updated data.
"Oh, yeah. This is the good stuff," Snow beamed, clearly admiring her progression.
She proudly spun her holographic interface around so Leon could see it.

Leon analyzed her panel with genuine respect. For a Level 48 player, her Strength and Agility were absurdly high, clearly bolstered by her heavy reliance on massive weaponry and high-speed martial arts. Her Epic title, Artisan of the Silver Crucible, proved that the system recognized her unique crafting contributions to the world.
"You have a flawless foundation, Snow," Leon nodded, offering her a sincere compliment. "Your Strength scaling is exceptional for your level, and your skills perfectly synergizes with your buster sword. When you finally break through into the Steadfast rank, your physical output will be a force of nature."
Snow flushed slightly, the praise from Leon hitting her harder than she expected. She quickly masked it with her signature, overbearing confidence, placing her hands on her hips and striking a pose.
"Obviously, baby," Snow winked, puffing out her chest. "You didn’t marry a damsel in distress. You married the best and the heaviest hitter in Eternal Heaven. Just give me some days, and I’ll be matching you!"
Leon chuckled softly, the sound carrying easily over the quiet, ruined canyon. He tapped the haft of Epitaph against his shoulder, letting the dark Legendary axe rest comfortably.
"I have no doubt you will," Leon said. "But the road is clear, and we have gathered what we came for. Our test was a complete success. It is time to head back to the estate."
"Yes, baby! Take me home," Snow cheered, instantly abandoning her interface. She spun around and approached Auris.
The massive High-Dragon lowered his armored shoulder without needing a verbal command, acknowledging the white-haired girl’s newly established place in their hierarchy. Snow scrambled up the steel plating with practiced ease, settling into the saddle area and patting the dragon’s cold, dark scales.
Leon followed a second later, vaulting through the air and landing perfectly behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, securing them both against the sheer G-force of the impending takeoff.
"Hold tight," Leon murmured, his chest pressed firmly against her back.
"Always, baby," Snow smiled, leaning into his embrace.
Auris let out a final, deafening roar that shook the very foundations of the canyon walls, announcing his absolute dominance over the territory.
The Glacial Sovereign flared his massive Void-Piercer Wings and launched them violently into the sky, soaring toward the northern horizon.
