Chapter 873 - 871: Teacher, I Don’t Know How

  • Next Chapter

Entering the mentor’s office, Wang Jiazhou and Xiao Feng’s first impression was just how damn big it was.

Looking at the large desk, Xiao Feng instinctively pushed his glasses up, feeling like it’s something he couldn’t afford right now.

Probably costs hundreds of thousands!

Seeing their expressions still carrying that characteristic naive student look, Mo Jingchun got up and walked over to the two students.

Mo Jingchun extended his hand and patted them on the shoulders.

"Xiao Feng and Wang Jiazhou, right? The dean couldn’t stop praising you two. I’ve seen your files; you are very outstanding."

"Come, don’t just stand there, come sit down. Look at your senior, Wei Luxue—she got familiar quickly and just sat on the sofa right away."

Wei Luxue, who had just sat down, suddenly felt now standing up or staying seated, neither would seem right.

Teacher, didn’t you say not to judge by appearances?

"Xia, make tea."

At this point, Mo Jingchun noticed the two students occasionally glancing at Zero, who was crouching in the corner petting a cat, and his mouth twitched.

"Forget it, Xia, let Wei Luxue make tea. You go to President Xu’s and get a document for me."

"Okay, boss."

Upon hearing this, Xia Xiaomin understood; there wasn’t any document, just that the ensuing conversation with the boss would touch on the lab work.

Feeling consciously excused from the office, Xia Xiaomin casually closed the door.

Then took the elevator downstairs.

"Candy said the pudding at the supermarket is amazingly good, I’ll go buy one to try."

.....................

Wei Luxue looked at the teacher in a daze, and after a while, managed to squeeze out a sentence.

"Teacher, I don’t know how to make tea."

"Watch me, see how I make it, and take notes. Next time, you have to know."

"Zero, come over."

"Coming~ Coming~"

The unique tone left Wang Jiazhou and Xiao Feng slightly unaccustomed.

Chatting with Zero on that day was not this cute.

With that level of acting, winning a trophy must be effortless.

"Don’t worry about Friday’s incident, Zero was just joking with you."

"Zero, apologize."

"Oh~"

"Sorry." Zero bowed deeply.

"Go have fun."

Seeing the two students still a bit bewildered, Mo Jingchun coughed twice.

"Cough cough, I hope you don’t spread this around; it can easily be misunderstood by outsiders."

"Teacher, what is it?" Watching Xiao Feng and Wang Jiazhou speak in unison, Mo Jingchun was quite pleased.

Such emotional intelligence could surpass Wei Luxue by a mile.

Just then, Wei Luxue curiously extended her neck and asked:

"Teacher, what’s the matter? How come I don’t know?"

"Secret, do you want to hear?"

Wei Luxue smiled sheepishly and hurriedly waved her hand saying, "Let’s leave it at that."

After glaring at Wei Luxue, Mo Jingchun turned to the two new students and said kindly:

"I’m easy to talk to, but I have a lot of projects, so I’m usually very busy. Most of the time, your senior will guide you in learning."

"I have high expectations for you both, hoping that when you graduate, you can stand alone like your senior."

"Let’s talk about the lab; I’ll give you access to the computer R&D lab, and questions should be directed to your senior later on. I’ll mainly tell you what the lab work involves, ......"

More than two hours later, Wang Jiazhou and Xiao Feng stepped out of the office building, standing under the sunlight for a long time before regaining their senses.

Shocked, unbelievable.

Wei Luxue pulled a lollipop out of her pocket, looking at her two junior brothers’ shocked expressions, unsurprised at all.

Thinking back to when she was brought into the lab and introduced to the first-generation ternary computer, her inner shock was not less than theirs.

"Don’t worry about feeling pressured; new knowledge is actually quite easy to learn. With the material the teacher gave me, I finished learning in three months."

Sucking on a lollipop, Wei Luxue stood on her tiptoes, ready to pat her junior brothers on the shoulder like the teacher.

Then Wei Luxue awkwardly found that even on tiptoes, she couldn’t reach their shoulders.

"Cough cough, don’t be afraid, if there’s anything you don’t understand, feel free to ask me. I love helping out."

Gradually snapping out of it, Wang Jiazhou fell silent for a moment and asked:

"Senior, what is the teacher researching with the three... studying that thing? Even though I’m not a salesperson, as I understand it, nobody would buy it since it lacks an ecosystem."

Wei Luxue shrugged with a smile: "Who knows. You guys, just make sure to learn the new material first before thinking about these issues; otherwise, what’s the point."

"Oh! And although I want to encourage you guys, I’d like to warmly remind you that I have a photographic memory, haha."

"Let’s go, I’ll take you to see the world, check out the mysterious Candy lab."

Under the shade, Little Grey glanced at Wei Luxue walking by. Noticing she hadn’t brought any treats, its head and ears drooped down.

Another day missing its little master.

Mo Jingchun looked down at the three barely visible people and said to Zero:

"Don’t let them leak any information."

"Notify me immediately if something happens."

"Boss, don’t worry, I guarantee they won’t let a single word slip."

"Mm, bring Xia back."

The spacious classroom felt cramped once the desks were arranged.

The curtains were drawn down, quickly darkening the classroom.

The projector played a replay of the first class of the semester.

Everyone watched the first class of the semester attentively, not only because they had to write a reflection of no less than 150 words but because the program was genuinely engaging.

In the last row of the classroom, the language teacher sat at the back where, upon standing, they could see all the students’ little actions.

Whether it was the interesting content or the teacher’s presence, besides the multimedia sounds, there was no muttering of secret conversations in the classroom.

Only a few students were sneaking little actions under their desks.

Before the end of the last lesson in the morning, the first class finished playing.

The language teacher walked to the podium and said, "Students by the window, open the curtains."

"Students, this semester’s ’First Class of the Semester,’ I believe everyone has watched attentively, and each student will have different insights."

"Today’s homework is to write a reflection of no less than 150 words, and the only requirement is no plagiarizing from the Internet at home!"

"Before the language class tomorrow, every student must hand in their reflection to the teacher. Tell me loudly, can you do it?"

"Yes!"

"Very good!"

Ring ring~ ring ring~

"Alright, students, see you tomorrow."

"Stand up!"

"Goodbye, teacher!"

As the teacher walked off the podium, the students hurriedly sat down, discussing how to write their reflections.
