Behind her sunglasses, Mo Jingchun rolled her eyes dramatically. Getting angry? Not a chance.

She hasn’t been too busy at work lately, so she just wants to go out and have some fun.

After all, from next month, Zhou Yaling will be facing two months of nightmare.

A new batch of interns will make her so busy she won’t know which way is up.

Pinching Candy’s cheeks, her cold hands made Candy push her away in a huff.

"Brother, your hands are freezing."

"Really?"

"Yeah, yeah."

The next moment, while Candy was completely unprepared, Mo Jingchun grabbed Candy’s neck with both hands.

"Hahaha, so warm."

Candy reflexively shrank her neck, looking completely shocked.

Finally managing to push her brother’s hands away again, Candy guarded her neck with both hands, glaring with wide eyes:

"If you do that again, I’m really going to get mad."

Pouting, Mo Jingchun lay back down.

At this moment, Candy noticed Zero’s turbocharged legs slowing down the rowing speed.

Tilted her head, Candy blinked.

"Keep speeding up."

Hearing this, Zero spread his hands helplessly, "Can’t do that, have to save battery, who knows when we’ll head home today."

"Oh!" Candy nodded, "Let me try."

The boat gradually stopped in the middle of the lake, and Candy sat down, holding onto Zero.

"Ya~ ya~ ya~"

Candy struggled to pedal, and the little boat slowly started moving.

The speed, enough to compete in a turtle and rabbit race, barely snatching second place.

After a while, Candy said with difficulty:

"Why is this so heavy."

"Heavy? Not really, when I lightly pedal, the boat goes super fast."

Lifting her sunglasses, Mo Jingchun smiled at Candy and said:

"Turn left, we need to get ashore. If your sister comes and sees us still boating, watch out for your little butt getting smacked."

Turning left, Candy chuckled softly, confidently saying:

"Wrong! Sister never hits anyone, she’s always the one getting hit, ask Uncle if you don’t believe me."

Mo Jingchun’s mouth twitched, now clearing this up would be difficult as Candy assumes Uncle loves hitting Zhou Yaling.

Rushing all the way here, Zhou Yaling initially thought she’d have a big meal, never imagining following her brother’s directions would lead her to a narrow alley where barely two can walk side by side.

If Zhou Yaling remembers correctly, there doesn’t seem to be any hotels around here.

Walking deeper into the alley, Zhou Yaling finally saw her brother and Candy.

Sitting clustered in front of a small food stall, they were really conspicuous.

Approaching, Zhou Yaling asked skeptically:

"Is this the big meal you mentioned?"

Before Mo Jingchun could speak, Candy already eating snacks quickly replied:

"Sister, Zero told us this place’s barbecue is very tasty."

Obviously, Zhou Yaling didn’t believe it.

Since they’ve come, there’s no reason to head back home immediately.

Pulling out a chair, Zhou Yaling plopped down.

"Are we really hiking in the afternoon?"

Mo Jingchun nodded affirmatively, "Hiking is great, you get to see the scenery and improve your physique, two birds with one stone, you’ve been talking about losing weight often, this is your chance."

"Hiking for weight loss? I’d rather skip a meal."

Mo Jingchun disdainfully looked at Zhou Yaling, bluntly saying:

"Just say if you’re going or not."

"I’m going! If I don’t go now, there won’t be a chance next month."

"So clever."

Being teased every day, Zhou Yaling is used to it, or more accurately, she’s numb to it.

"Boss lady, serve the food."

............

Standing atop the mountain, Mo Jingchun and company looked down at the entire Huo County town.

From here, the whole town is visible.

"Don’t look at other mountains after visiting the Five Great Peaks, don’t look at other peaks after visiting Huang Mountain," Mo Jingchun truly felt this saying.

Though Nanyue Mountain’s scenery is nice, it doesn’t inspire much desire to record through photos.

Standing on a rock, Candy pointed towards their neighborhood, smiling and saying:

"Brother, that’s our home."

"I see it."

Beside them, Zhou Yaling, full of sweat, sat on a stone, enjoying the cool breeze brought by the south wind as she complained:

"There’s nothing special about it."

Turning around, Mo Jingchun watched the exhausted Zhou Yaling and jokingly said:

"That’s because you’ve hiked Nanyue Mountain several times and..."

"Don’t look at other mountains after visiting the Five Great Peaks, don’t look at other peaks after visiting Huang Mountain; it’s about your current mindset."

"Alright, let’s rest for a bit and then head down."

Compared to the adults, children have fewer sentiments.

Candy enthusiastically took pictures of every flower and tree.

Even the rock they stood on earlier wasn’t spared, Candy beautifully snapped two photos of it.

Life is all about recording, capturing the beautiful moments.

It may not seem significant now, but a year later... or even years later, revisiting these photos will feel different.

Walking down the steps, Candy watched her footing, carefully stepping.

A 45-degree staircase; those with acrophobia might feel their legs go soft just by looking down once.

Even though surrounded by everyone and practically safe, Candy was cautious; even if her arms and legs got bruised, what she feared most was hitting her face, blemishing it. The next day, classmates would surely pester her with questions.

After almost an hour, Candy finally confidently jumped down from the last step. But, relaxing her vigilance, Candy nearly fell; just as she was about to hit the ground, vigilant Zero quickly reached to grab her slim waist.

Seeing Candy was okay, Mo Jingchun breathed a sigh of relief.

"Getting cocky, almost fell, didn’t you?"

Candy chuckled, "Brother, were you concerned about me just now?"

Mo Jingchun glanced at Candy, draped his jacket over his shoulder, and walked away without looking back.

"You’re overthinking, I was worried your face would get bruised, and explaining to Uncle would be tough."

Watching her brother walk further without any intention of waiting for her, Candy hurriedly chased after him.

"Brother, you were concerned about me, weren’t you?"

"Weren’t you?"

Getting in the car, Candy insisted on squeezing into the back seat with them.

Initially spacious, now felt somewhat confined. Watching persistent Candy, Mo Jingchun reluctantly said, "Alright, alright, I was concerned about you."

"Now will you go sit in the car behind?"

"Nope." Candy grinned, squeezing between her brother and sister, she even buckled up her seat belt.

Mo Jingchun rubbed his forehead and opened half the car window.

"The seat belt is fastened; what else can I do?

"Let’s go."

Morning. The sun is shining brightly.

On Qu Weijun’s somewhat worn-out desk sits a pot of Green Rattan, glowing even greener under the sunlight.

After casually watering the Green Rattan, Qu Weijun picked up his textbook and left the office.
