Tech Dominator Starts with Raising Kids

Chapter 797 - 795: Each Finds Their Joy

  • Next Chapter

Mo Jingchun and Zero had no idea about the cosmic spectacle happening right nearby.

Mo Jingchun, who was watching a movie, had a face full of amusement.

As the saying goes, good things can be right under your nose and you’ll still miss them.

The next day, Candy excitedly hugged her cup as she boarded the school bus to elementary school alongside Xiang’Er.

Watching the little ones get on the bus, Mo Jingchun turned and headed back.

As soon as Mo Jingchun reached the office, before he had a chance to sit down, the incessant reminders in his mind made him frown.

This garbage system started acting up since last night for some unknown reason, constantly urging him to enter the lottery.

Its excited tone almost made it sound like the system itself was eager to enter the draw.

Seriously, it’s just a few points saved up.

Completely annoyed, Mo Jingchun sat down on the office chair and impatiently muttered:

"Draw, draw, draw quickly, you’re driving me crazy."

"Here it comes, here it comes, the lottery is here."

The familiar big wheel appeared in his mind, showing an array of advanced technologies and products right before him.

Looking at it makes one dizzy, but Mo Jingchun didn’t notice any tiny changes on the wheel.

If he had observed carefully, Mo Jingchun would have seen that this time the wheel had more physical items, and correspondingly, fewer advanced technologies.

As Mo Jingchun muttered to start the draw, the wheel began spinning rapidly, hitting peak speed and then decelerating.

When the wheel stopped, Mo Jingchun saw the pointer had landed on a microcomputer, and he instantly regretted it.

He knew it, whenever the system pushes for a lottery, it’s always a trap, yet he keeps falling into it every time.

What a trap.

Beautiful fireworks blossomed in the space, and the sly voice of the system chimed around him.

"Congratulations to the host for winning a microcomputer. Celebrate everywhere."

Watching the fireworks, Mo Jingchun felt the system was somewhat mocking him.

Not a hundred percent, but certainly ninety percent mocking.

However, the next moment, the system’s prompt made Mo Jingchun trust it again.

"Would the host like to extract the microcomputer from the third-level civilization now?"

"Third-level civilization?" Mo Jingchun’s eyes lit up instantly.

Humanity is only at level 0.7, how strong must a third-level civilization be, possibly a super civilization possessing dozens of star systems.

A microcomputer from a third-level civilization must be remarkable.

Remember, computers created by humans decades ago didn’t even have the computational power of current child’s play calculators.

With great anticipation, Mo Jingchun clenched his fists and muttered:

"Extract."

"The system has dispatched it, please check your delivery."

The next second, Mo Jingchun opened his eyes and saw an item appear on his desk.

It looks... very much like the matchbox he saw as a kid.

A matchbox?

On it were inscribed symbols and patterns Mo Jingchun couldn’t understand, whether they were alien scripts or artistic designs.

Within the system’s space, the system laughed openly.

Using a tiny bit of Zelos-made microcomputer, it successfully traded for some points.

The most crucial part was that Zelos was picked up for free.

This wave—definitely profitable! Truly hit the jackpot.

Guilt? Doesn’t exist. This microcomputer was meant for Zero.

Everyone is happy in their own way, such a beautiful scene.

Create things out of nothing, which Zero was no longer surprised by; she was merely curious about this new appearance.

Pulling up a small stool, Zero leaned close, fixatedly staring at the tiny item in front.

It really was quite small, not even as big as one of her hands.

Perfectly square, it seemed like a toy.

Just as she was about to reach out and touch it, Mo Jingchun stopped her.

Glancing at Zero, he said, "Do you know what this is?"

Zero paused, then shook her head, "No, I don’t know."

"You dare to touch it without knowing, aren’t you afraid it could be dangerous?"

Momentarily speechless, Zero pouted and withdrew her hand, yet those little eyes, along with all the cameras in the office, were focused on the little item that had suddenly appeared on the desk.

"Boss, what is this?"

"Microcomputer."

"Computer? No power or data interface at all; are you sure this thing’s a computer?"

Mo Jingchun was also puzzled, the microcomputer had no seams, and what Zero mentioned didn’t exist, plus fitting an interface onto something so small seemed unrealistic.

"It’s probably wireless."

As Mo Jingchun reached out to pick up the microcomputer to study it, the moment his finger touched it, the microcomputer emitted a blue light, rippling outwards like waves.

In that instant, both Mo Jingchun and Zero were taken aback.

"Boss, boss, I detected a signal!"

Before Mo Jingchun could say anything, the blue light on the microcomputer disappeared without a trace.

Just as Mo Jingchun was bewildered, Zero grinned.

"Boss, I successfully took over the microcomputer."

"Big! Super big! This place is super big, I really like it."

"No way, I want to move!"

As she spoke, Zero explained to the boss about the microcomputer’s data while simultaneously relocating from the super quantum computer into the microcomputer.

The speed of data transfer was truly frightening.

Although Mo Jingchun knew anything from a third-level civilization was not simple, he was still shocked.

Such a tiny thing, as he had guessed, was merely a toy for children of a third-level civilization.

Yet even this toy had performance metrics far beyond human imagination.

The even more impressive part was the downward compatibility of signal transmission.

This lottery draw... didn’t end in loss!

Mo Jingchun even marveled at how generous the system was this time, rare that there was no manipulation.

A draw like this is what can pique his interest.

This tiny microcomputer, casually tossed into a drawer, hey, who would guess that Zero’s core data is inside it and not in the room’s super quantum computer.

Right then, Zero told Mo Jingchun another piece of good news.

"Boss, I’m planning to back up all valuable data online."

Mo Jingchun raised an eyebrow and said, "Back up everything? That’s a massive amount of data, I don’t have that capability..."

"Wait, when you said ’super big’, did you mean storage space?"

"Exactly!" Candy nodded as if it was obvious.

"Backing up all the data will only use up one percent of the storage space. And the benefits these data can bring are enormous."

After pondering for a while, Mo Jingchun hesitantly asked:

"Downloading such a huge amount of data will draw the attention of nations; it comes with significant risks."

"No worries, with this microcomputer, I’ll use our satellite network for data transmission. The only downside is it’s quite demanding on satellites."

"Then launch a few more satellites into orbit."

"Hehe, boss, that’s exactly what I was thinking."
