Chapter 1248: Thirteen’s Request

Chapter 1248: Thirteen’s Request

“Just remember this, Zion,” Queen Xeres said. “I still haven’t forgiven you.”

“I don’t need your forgiveness,” Thirteen replied. “I just need you to do your work properly. That’s it.”

Thirteen then headed to Cranky, who’d bring him out of Antares.

Queen Xeres watched his back with a complicated gaze before shifting her attention to Kamrusepa.

“Has he always been this annoying?” Queen Xeres inquired.

Instead of giving an answer, Kamrusepa just giggled, finding this situation quite funny.

Thirteen could still remain calm in front of a Majin Queen, who didn’t hesitate to tell him that she still hadn’t forgiven him for forcefully making her one of his subordinates.

Pica and Pico, who were still in the scene, landed on Queen Xeres’ shoulder.

“You’ll get used to it,” Pico said before flying away.

“Deal with it,” Pica commented before following her brother.

Queen Xeres was tempted to pinch the two birds to oblivion, but since they were Thirteen’s subordinates, she dared not to do it lest she anger the boy.

Pica and Pico then entered Rocky’s Mobile Fortress, where Mikhail and Siri were waiting for them.

“Let’s go,” Thirteen said, allowing Cranky to carry him in his arms.

After securely holding Thirteen, Cranky disappeared from where he stood and turned into a lightning bolt that streaked across the sky.

Their destination was Cygni Continent.

Thirteen planned to announce that he had successfully gathered an army to help him invade the world of Artem.

The Jinns and the Wanderers of Cygni didn’t wish to fight another war, especially after their war had just ended.

The Wanderers were in the process of honoring those who had died in the battle and compensating their families.

The Jinns were busy building their territories in the locations where they had been assigned.

Only those who had a close relationship with Thirteen, with the exception of the Dragonkins, were allowed to build their cities near the territories of Wanderers, guaranteeing that the interaction between the two races would more likely lead to a harmonious relationship in the future.

When he arrived at Casimir City, he went to talk to the Grand and Field Marshal of the Central Government first, then told them about everything that happened in Antares.

Although Lawrence and Tristan already expected that Zion would be able to recruit the Jinns that lorded over Antares, they were still surprised to see him pull it off within such a short time.

“The way you handled your expedition in Antares makes me feel like the war we fought in Cygni was a joke,” Lawrence said with a sigh. “Are you really human, Zion?”

“Not exactly,” Thirteen answered. “The blood flowing in my veins is the Chandrean Royal Bloodline. Can I still be considered a human?”

Lawrence and Tristan glanced at each other before replying at the same time.

“”Yes.””

“Then I guess I’m still human,” Thirteen said cheekily, making the two decision makers of the Central Government shake their heads helplessly.

“Sorry, but we still need to handle the aftermath of the war here in Pangea,” Lawrence stated. “Also, we are receiving reports of… unusual activities in Solterra.”

Thirteen was already aware of what was happening in Solterra, but he pretended to not care about it for the time being.

His goal was to make the Artemians his allies so they could help him in the final battle that would happen in Solterra.

Suddenly, an idea popped inside his head, which made him look at his two in-laws with a serious expression on his face.

“I have a request,” Thirteen said. “I want to formally announce to the world that Shana and Princess Aracelle are now my fiancees.”

“A-Are you sure?” Tristan asked. “If you do this, you will not be able to take it back.”

“I want to do it,” Thirteen answered firmly.

“Did you talk to them about it?” Lawrence inquired.

“Not yet,” Thirteen replied. “But I plan to after this conversation.”

“Very well. Talk to them first,” Lawrence advised. “If they both agree to it, then you can let us handle the rest. You being engaged to Princess Aracelle is good publicity. This way, people will start to think that living with Jinns is not something to be afraid of.”

Thirteen’s image in Pangea was at its peak. Once everyone learned that a Majin Princess was his future wife, more Wanderers would realize that a union between the two races was possible.

Although many might be shocked by this announcement and probably go to the streets to voice out their opposition, Thirteen didn’t give a damn.

If they were to rise up and form a rally, he would order Rocky to drop Giga in front of them, so they could have a piece of his mind.

After his talks with his in-laws ended, Thirteen was about to look for Shana and Princess Aracelle when he saw Lady Ristella standing in the hallway.

She had come to look for Zion as soon as she heard the news that he had returned from his expedition in Antares.

The Aunt of Princess Xynalia and Princess Laventia overheard Thirteen’s words from behind the door.

When the teenage boy mentioned that he wanted the world to know that Shana and Princess Aracelle were his fiancees, the beautiful lady recalled the look on her niece’s face a few days ago after Zion had left.

She had tried to probe what was bothering her mind, but she only said that she was thinking of Zion and wondering what he was doing at that time.

Faced with the teenage boy, Lady Ristella decided to take a chance to talk to him.

Right now, the Kingdom of Valoria needed a strong backer in Pangea. Although they had a good relationship with Zion, she believed that it wasn’t enough to ensure the growth, and prosperity of their faction.

“I’m sorry, I overheard you plan to announce that you plan to marry Shana, and Princess Aracelle to the world,” Lady Ristella said. “I didn’t want to pry on your business, but can I propose something?”

“Okay.” Thirteen nodded.

“I believe you want to let the world know your relationship with Princess Aracelle because you want to set an example for everyone,” Lady Ristella stated.

“That’s right,” Thirteen replied.

“Then, don’t you think it will be more effective if you add one more Majin Princess to the roster?” Lady Ristella smiled. “How about you also marry my niece, Princess Xynalia? That way, you can show everyone how serious you are about making the two races form a harmonious relationship with each other.”

Thirteen blinked as he remembered everything that happened in his dream.

In a way, he and Princess Xynalia had connected in more ways than one, and she had also learned one of his biggest secrets, some of which even his lovers didn’t know about.

“What does Princess Xynalia feel about me?” Thirteen asked.

“I think she likes you,” Lady Ristella answered without hesitation. “But she’s afraid of rejection, so she’s hesitating to make the first move.”

“I see…” Thirteen pondered for a bit. “I’ll talk to her tomorrow. Please tell her in advance.”

“Good.” Lady Ristella didn’t know if Zion agreed to her proposal or not.

But since he didn’t outright reject it, she was feeling hopeful that her niece would finally get a chance to be with the person that she liked.
