"Incetta. Please rethink this!"

"We are your family!"

"Let’s come back to the Zaecuria Kingdom!"

Several people crowded around Incetta. The latter was already twitching her eyebrows as if her anger was about to erupt.

A man suddenly stepped forward, saying, "Incetta."

Incetta’s eyes turned cold after seeing this man. "Uncle..."

This was the uncle who threw her away and sold her father’s inheritance, which was the sword. If there was someone she hated the most, it would be him.

"As the head of the Sherveana family, I order you to return to the family. You can get your father’s seat."

Veins bulged on her head. That authoritative voice hadn’t changed. He must be thinking he was still above her.

"I think you are misunderstanding this, Uncle. I’m not going back. You should know why I’m not going back."

"This is an order from the family head. Are you going to disobey the family head’s decision? You?"

Incetta’s killing intent soared as she stood up.

"!!!" Her uncle took a step back. "You... What are you trying to do? Do you know killing is illegal?"

Incetta snorted. "Killing you? You must think too highly of yourself. There’s no way I’m going to dirty my hands because of someone like you."

"You..." Her uncle raised his hand. "You brat!"

When he was about to swing that hand, Rose’s voice suddenly echoed from behind. "What are you trying to do?"

He abruptly stopped and turned around. "Who are you? This is a family matter. Don’t butt in!"

"Family matter? Then, this is also a family matter... just not your Sherveana family, but the Ardagan family." Rose smirked. "You are about to hit a noble under the Grand Duke? It looks like the Zaecuria Kingdom would like to wage war against us..."

"What?" The uncle thought he heard it wrong. A noble?

"Count Sherveana, heh?" Rose snorted. "Incetta Shervina. You’re summoned by the Grand Duke. He would like to reward you for your efforts in fighting the demons. It looks like he’s going to grant your wish."

"My wish?" Incetta only had one wish when she joined Noel. It was to rebuild her household, but with a correct name. "Do you mean?"

"Yeah." Rose smiled. "He will be granting your peerage. From what I have heard, you will be granted the marquis rank. You should head there immediately because I need to find a few more people for the reward."

"Ah!" Incetta knew that talking about the rank wasn’t common, especially since she hadn’t received it yet. But Rose revealed it simply because of her uncle.

Incetta wanted to smile, but she held it back. Her eyes remained cold as she sneered. "How dare a mere count touch me? If I cut your hand right now, no one will bat an eye."

"You..." Her uncle gnashed his teeth. "If you return, you can even become a duchess or a guardian!"

"I’d rather become a tiger in a dragon nest than a dragon in a pig nest..." was what Incetta wanted to say, but it might have had the opposite effect since it belittled the Zaecuria Kingdom. Hence, she said, "I don’t need that rank. My wish has remained the same from the beginning. I, too, shall fulfill my promise.

"Now, Uncle. My cheeks are open for you to slap. Why don’t you do it? Give me the justification for destroying you and the rest of the Sherveana family!"

Her uncle took a step back, tripped, and fell on his butt. His face was filled with horror. Even the Zaecuria Kingdom would turn a blind eye if Noel Ardagan demanded his head. Incetta definitely had the power, especially since she was said to have saved Noel’s brother-in-law and helped Noel’s wife, Anna.

"You..." He was scared. Even the people from the Sherveana family couldn’t say a word anymore.

"Pathetic." Incetta harrumphed before walking away.

When they exited the room, Incetta whispered, "Thank you for the help."

"No problem, but the reward is real. You should head to the mansion right away. I still need to call a few more people. Besides, we need witnesses, so I have to call a few pillars."

"That’s... Can’t it be on hold for now? I don’t have any confidence in ruling a land." Incetta looked down, feeling unsure.

"You don’t have to worry about it. Our lord will probably send a few people to manage it for the time being until we are done with the demon kings, which is our priority right now."

"I see." Incetta felt relieved. "How many people are you going to call?"

"Let’s see...There are five people: you, Howard, Tristan, Elaine, and Rui. However, because Elaine and Rui are not here, I have sent messengers to them."

"Oh!" Incetta nodded. "Will all of them become nobles?"

"Howard will most likely become a count. Tristan might become an earl. I don’t think Elaine will become a noble from the looks of it. As for Rui, it will depend on her wish."

"Yeah." Rose nodded.

Rui was surprised as she took the three letters, considering which one to choose.

"Miss Elaine. The lord gives you two options. The first one is a peerage of a baron, and the second is a title and your new position."

"Position? Am I not going to become a pillar?" Elaine’s heart skipped a beat. However, she expected this, considering that becoming a pillar was what they needed as a justification to send their troops.

However, Laufey’s next words shocked her. "If you choose the second letter, you will receive the title of Guru. Your new position will be Grand Duke Noel Ardagan’s left hand. In other words, you will be equal to the Grand Duke’s right hand, Dimitri.

"You will become his advisor and deal with all the legal duties of the Ardagan family. Of course, to do that, your position as Pillar of Justice is included."

Elaine’s heart dropped.
