Supremely Talented Tyrant
Chapter 2252 - 2453: Insulting One's Superiors!!!
With Feng Xiao leading the way, the company chairman's manager and President Shu Ya's secretary guiding him, there was no chance that anyone would block the path. So, Feng Xiao led the way smoothly, taking Hao Jian upward without any delays, right to the top floor, Shu Ya's office.
"Young Master Hao, please~" Feng Xiao knocked a few times on the door, opened Shu Ya's office door, and gestured for Hao Jian to enter.
However, upon entering, Hao Jian was surprised to find that Shu Ya was actually not in the office. It looked completely empty, but the computer in front of the desk was still on, and a pile of documents was laid on the desk.
After glancing a few times, Hao Jian knew that Shu Ya must have something urgent and left in a rush. He wasn't surprised; Shu Ya Group's achievements today were largely due to her efforts, so with her workaholic nature, she must have left quickly with urgent tasks, leaving the computer on and grabbing her things hurriedly.
He shook his head, then sat down in Shu Ya's chair, looking over what she had been working on recently. A quick look revealed many tasks, both big and small; the entire company's functions, detailed and comprehensive, were placed before her desk.
Thinking about her exhausting workload made Hao Jian feel quite sorry for her. This visit must rectify this bad habit of hers; she's not lacking anything anymore, why keep pushing so hard? What if her body can't handle it? He must have a good talk with her.
At that moment, Feng Xiao, seeing that Shu Ya wasn't in the office, picked up his phone to contact the other female secretary, the one who came over with him from Huaxia. Since Shu Ya wasn't there, she must have taken her along, and asking her would be revealing.
After contacting her, he mentioned to Hao Jian, "Young Master Hao, President Shu just had something come up temporarily and left. Maybe you should have a seat; President Shu said she'd be back shortly."
"Okay!" Hao Jian nodded.
After all, he had already come over, and since Shu Ya had urgent plans, it wouldn't be good to disturb her further. She was busy enough with her workload; moreover, making her busy because of him would be even more unacceptable.
"Uh... President Shu also needs me to go over..." Feng Xiao mentioned this somewhat reluctantly.
Upon hearing this, Hao Jian stated, "Alright, if President Shu asked for you, quickly go over. I'll just sit here and wait for her. You go help President Shu with her tasks."
Feng Xiao agreed with a smile, then said, "Alright, Young Master Hao, I'll be going then."
"Hmm!" Hao Jian nodded.
With that, Feng Xiao promptly left the room. At the door, he specifically instructed about some matters, probably about hosting Hao Jian.
Since Feng Xiao left, the office suddenly emptied, leaving Hao Jian alone in Shu Ya's seat, idly browsing through some items. As he looked, a sense of boredom took over, prompting him to stand up and walk around. The office's decor and small furnishings were evidently in Shu Ya's style.
Seeing these things made Hao Jian feel as if Shu Ya was nearby. He glanced a few more times, picked up a book from the desk to read, but feeling bored again, he sat back down in Shu Ya's chair.
Sitting there, memories of past events with Shu Ya flooded him—happy and thrilling experiences that brought involuntary smiles to his face. He had pondered many things during this time, and now, his life was more or less stable. Since that's the case, why not plan his future carefully?
Life is short; one day, you'll grow old, so the most important thing is to live well. Otherwise, to leave this life without experiences would render it meaningless. That's not what he aims for.
Given the time, he meticulously pondered over future concepts and ideas, ready to discuss them thoroughly with Shu Ya on her arrival, to see what she envisioned, and then plan together.
Submerged in thoughts, he suddenly fell asleep. Previously, Shu Ya played a prank on him, leaving him extremely worried, fearing something had happened to her, keeping him mentally tense. Then, the long airplane journey followed by continuous tasks once he landed—leading him here.
Mental exhaustion is the most tiring. So, once he sat down, with nothing else to occupy his mind, he gradually nodded off, entering a dream where even the recent reflections appeared, his face marked with a broad smile, unable to contain his laughter.
But suddenly, in his dream, he felt someone kicking him. Slowly, he awakened from sleep, opening his drowsy eyes.
"Hey! Who are you? This is President Shu's seat. What's the meaning of sitting here? Are you tired of living?" An overly robust man's voice pushed him several times.
Hao Jian opened his sleepy eyes and looked around, only to find the one nudging him was a well-dressed man who looked young, embodying a business professional. But at this moment, he wore an extremely furious expression staring at him.
Hao Jian was a bit bewildered. He had merely sat here and accidentally fell asleep, yet waking up to meet a furious man bewildered him; he hadn't done anything wrong. His expression turned slightly unpleasant, sitting straighter instead of lounging.
The man noticed Hao Jian had yet to rise, his angry face growing more intense, pointing at Hao Jian, furiously saying, "Hey... I'm saying, who are you? New here? Unaware of the rules? Don't know this is President Shu's seat, casually sitting here! And even falling asleep!"
Upon hearing that, Hao Jian roughly grasped the situation and calmly replied, "I know this is Shu Ya's seat."
Of course, with Feng Xiao leading him in and looking around, he realized this was the chairman and manager's office. How could he possibly not know this was Shu Ya's seat? If it were someone else's seat, he'd probably not have sat there.
"So you know? And you still sat?" The man became angrier, pointing at Hao Jian. "Do you not wish to work? Challenging authority!"
Before Hao Jian could speak, the man was already fuming, nearly resorting to physical confrontation, but possibly held back by his suit. He glared at Hao Jian and asked, "Which department are you in, doing such a thing? Bring your department head over; I need to give them a serious lesson on training employees how to behave!"
Hao Jian calmly said, "Department head? I don't have a department head."
"No department head?" The man looked bewildered. "No department head, and you feel free to sit in the chairman's chair? Are you a newbie hoping to taste sitting on the dragon throne?"
A few smiles appeared on Hao Jian's face. By now, he roughly understood what was happening. It seemed this man was one of Shu Ya's subordinates, with some authority in this branch office, who entered and saw him sitting in Shu Ya's chair, but never seeing him before, was unfamiliar.
Thus, he mistook him for an employee challenging authority, offending President Shu, and became furious. Thinking about this, Hao Jian felt a slight amusement, his face displaying a smile. It's understandable; since he seldom mingled, most of the company group didn't recognize him, and being in a branch abroad, it's even more natural for employees not to know who he really was.
In addition, most of the company's matters were handled by Shu Ya or delegated to Spice Ginger, making knowledge of him as the behind-the-scenes boss even rarer, so his reaction didn't surprise him at all. He found it funny, being such an unworthy boss—a boss whose employees didn't even recognize him.
And fortunately, Hao Jian had learned various languages from traveling the world in the past, enabling him to understand almost any language, so he could comprehend this R-country employee's speech. Otherwise, if he rambled on for half a day, Hao Jian would have remained baffled.
Being able to understand naturally meant he could also communicate, without which past interactions would have been impossible.
"Get up!" The man furiously kicked the chair.
Sitting on the chair, Hao Jian felt the chair move slightly from the kick, his facial expression instantly turning serious. Throughout the years, few dared act so toward him, yet slowly, his expression reverted to calmness.
Seeing Hao Jian still not rising, the man kicked the chair again, heavily, saying, "Still not up? Are you courting death? Don't you know President Shu will interview new candidates here soon; you sitting here refusing to move—is that seeking trouble?"
Upon hearing that, Hao Jian finally understood. It turned out Shu Ya would be interviewing new recruits here shortly, no wonder this person rushed in, waking him up, then behaving so wrathfully.
If new recruits would be interviewed, preparations were necessary. By sitting there, Hao Jian impeded those preparations; if unprepared, Shu Ya might blame him. Hence, his anger.
Hao Jian realized the situation clearly.
However, during the first kick, the chair moved. But on the second kick, Hao Jian wasn't accommodating, remaining seated without even a slight shift.
The man's face showed a hint of surprise.
