He withdrew his aura and quietly walked inside, observing what was happening here.

These Human Clan members were toiling away inside like manual laborers.

They were mining a great deal of Spiritual Source, yet they themselves were not absorbing any of it.

Su Yang even watched, eyes wide open, as several Cultivators of the Saint King Realm, with their Spiritual Energy exhausted and their power drained, finally collapsed to the ground, unable to hold on.

Though the people around them all wore looks of pity, none of them dared do anything.

Right beside them, mountains of Spiritual Source were piled up, vast amounts of Spiritual Energy sealed within those sources. As long as they wished, they could absorb that Spiritual Energy at any time to save their lives.

Yet these few who had fallen to the ground did not absorb even a trace of Spiritual Energy, as if they were simply waiting for death.

At the same time, in other places, Su Yang also saw many similar scenes.

Many Human Clan members lay fallen on the ground, their Spiritual Energy exhausted, their power drained. No one knew how long they had been left there; their bodies were already beginning to rot.

Right next to them were Spiritual Sources that could save their lives, but they did not dare absorb them at all, just letting themselves decay like that, ultimately heading toward annihilation.

Su Yang's heart was filled with doubt. These people fought so desperately to mine these Spiritual Sources, yet did not absorb a single bit themselves—what was it all for?

He kept walking forward, and very soon, Su Yang arrived at the core of this star.

Here, Su Yang saw that Strongest—Wind Walker!

He lived in the stone chamber that Blood Shadow had occupied before, sitting cross-legged in silence, quietly cultivating.

All around him, mountains of Spiritual Source were arranged.

You could say that all the Spiritual Sources those people gathered outside had been piled up by his side.

Alone, he continuously absorbed the Spiritual Energy within those Spiritual Sources, cultivating quietly. Meanwhile, the people laboring outside were like his slaves, delivering those sources to him endlessly to supply his cultivation.

Su Yang's brows knit tightly. Could it be that Wind Walker was forcing these Human Clan members to act as his laborers, making them mine Spiritual Sources for him?

Just as Su Yang was puzzled, Wind Walker seemed to have finished cultivating. He opened his eyes, glanced at the mountain of Spiritual Source beside him, and a faint smile crossed his face.

With a casual wave of his hand, he swept all those Spiritual Sources into his Personal Space.

Then he flew straight up into the air, looking down at the crowd busy at work.

When they saw Wind Walker open his eyes, the crowd seemed extremely terrified and hurriedly sped up their mining.

Wind Walker's gaze swept across everyone, finally landing on a few whose movements were a bit slower.

"I told you, no slacking off. Did you all take my words as a breeze beside your ears?"

Wind Walker shouted angrily, and with a casual wave, a burst of oppressive force crushed those few people into powder on the spot.

The others trembled violently in fright; none dared meet Wind Walker's eyes, terrified that he would turn his gaze to them.

Su Yang's expression turned ice-cold. At this point, there was no need to investigate; clearly, Wind Walker was treating these people as mere laborers, forcing them to work here.

And these Human Clan members, even after mining so much Spiritual Source, did not dare absorb a shred of Spiritual Energy. Even when their Spiritual Energy was exhausted, their power drained, and they slumped there waiting for death, they still did not dare absorb the slightest bit.

How great was the terror Wind Walker had instilled in them, that they would be so afraid?

Thinking of this, Su Yang also felt deep regret for his own past actions.

He felt that he should have been more magnanimous toward these people; whether they helped the Human Clan or not should have been their own decision, something they themselves could choose.

But he had failed to realize that some of the Strongest simply cannot be treated as normal people.

Setting aside the fact that they had received Su Yang's favor yet felt no need to repay it—the key point was that not only did they refuse to repay Su Yang, they even did such things to these frail Human Clan members. This was something Su Yang could no longer tolerate.

As one of the Strongest, at the very least, one should have the most basic moral bottom line.

Ordinary Cultivators are like ants before the Strongest.

And yet you use your strength to oppress these ordinary Cultivators—is this what a Strongest should be doing?

If he had known Wind Walker was this kind of person, Su Yang would never have let him go; he should have killed him on the spot back then!

Su Yang's brows furrowed slightly. He quietly extended his hand, controlling a person nearby and using that person's mouth to speak: "Wind Walker, acting like this, can you face the Human Clan who once saved you?"

Wind Walker had been planning to return to the stone chamber when he suddenly heard this voice, and he froze.

The others were stunned as well; no one had expected this person to suddenly speak. And to question Wind Walker in such a way!

"Are you insane?" someone beside him hissed in a low voice. "You dare speak to him like that? You… if you want to die, don't drag your family and friends down with you!"

The others were all full of worry. To be honest, if it were only their own lives, that would be one thing. But Wind Walker's methods were extremely ruthless; if they made a mistake, their family and friends would be implicated as well.

That is why many people, even with their Spiritual Energy exhausted and their power drained, chose to sit there waiting for death rather than absorb the slightest bit.

There was no choice—once they absorbed Spiritual Energy, it would no longer be only them dying; even their family and friends would have to die with them.

So to protect their loved ones, everyone could only silently wait for death.

For this person to speak out like this now and provoke Wind Walker was truly unwise.

If he enraged Wind Walker, it would not only be him who died.

Wind Walker was stunned as well. He turned his head and glanced at this man, his brows knitting tightly.

For all this time, no one had dared speak to him like this, much less in such a questioning tone.

And the most critical point was—how did these people know he had received the Human Clan's favor?

He shot that man a glance and said in a deep voice, "What are you talking about?"

"When was I ever saved by the Human Clan?"

"You think trash like you could save me? Are you crazy, or just stupid?"

Unable to figure out what was really going on here, he decided to feign ignorance for the moment.

Su Yang's face went cold. This Wind Walker was truly ungrateful.

He continued to control that person and spoke again: "Wind Walker, do you really have no idea how you came back to life?"

"Have you forgotten what you promised the Human Clan back then?"

"After you escaped, you not only failed to fulfill your promise, but you even treat the Human Clan who saved you like this. Hmph, are you not afraid of retribution?"

Wind Walker's expression turned frigid. Without a doubt, this person knew about the matter of him being saved by Su Yang earlier.

Though he had no idea how this person had learned of it, this was not a good sign. At the very least, it meant this man had come into contact with people from Su Yang's side, which was how he learned about this.

Since that was the case, he absolutely could not stay here any longer. If the Human Clan tracked him down, wouldn't he be doomed for sure?
