Chapter 2863 - 2863: Discovering the Guardian God

When they were about to reach the Immortal Palace, they suddenly sensed that down in the Guardian Land below, there was actually life.

Su Yang was the first to detect that aura. He flew over immediately and directly grabbed a Guardian God out from the Guardian Land below.

This Guardian God's strength was very average, barely at the Initial Stage Earth Level.

Faced with so many Strongest experts all around, this Guardian God was so terrified he was trembling, kneeling on the ground, unable to even make a sound.

"I really didn't expect we'd still catch a live one!" The Supreme Dragon Emperor was the most excited. He ran over and stared at that Guardian God, "Hey, kid, what are you doing here?"

That Guardian God's face was deathly pale, his lips quivering, unable to say a single word.

The Supreme Dragon Emperor immediately got angry: "Dragon Lord is talking to you. You don't speak—are you looking down on Dragon Lord? Want to trade a couple moves with Dragon Lord?"

That Guardian God grew even more flustered, shaking nonstop.

"Alright, Dragon Emperor, stop scaring him. Can't you see what state he's in?" The Eternal Divine Emperor couldn't help saying, "He's just an Earth-level Realm Cultivator. Forget you, a Strongest; even a random Heavenly Level Cultivator could scare him to death. If you scare him to death, we won't be able to ask anything out of him!"

"How am I scaring him? I'm just asking questions!" The Supreme Dragon Emperor chuckled.

At this moment, Su Yang gently waved his hand, and a beam of light directly enveloped that Guardian God.

This beam of light isolated the aura of the people outside, instantly reducing the pressure on that Guardian God by a great deal.

Honestly, you couldn't really blame this Guardian God for being afraid. Think about it: surrounded on all sides by Strongest experts, and he's just an Earth-level Cultivator. The pressure from these people alone was enough to frighten him to death—how was he supposed to say anything?

Now that Su Yang blocked everyone's aura, he could no longer feel the pressure from the Strongest, and his trembling finally stopped.

Taking a deep breath, this Guardian God directly knelt on the ground and said in a trembling voice, "Honored sirs, I… I'm just a small fry, please spare me. I… I never took part in the war against the Human Clan. I… within the Guardian Gods, I'm only a little underling, just helping those big shots with odd jobs. I… I've never done anything…"

Su Yang and the others could tell from the situation. A Guardian God at the Earth-level Realm, still stationed near the core area of the Guardian Land, was definitely just a servant-like existence.

"What's your name?" Su Yang asked.

The Guardian God answered in a trembling voice, "I… I am Fulin…"

"Fulin." Su Yang slowly nodded and asked softly, "Tell me, why are you here alone?"

"I… I don't know either…" This Guardian God, Fulin, said in a trembling voice, "I originally committed a mistake and was locked in the dungeon. But starting from fifty years ago, in the dungeon… there was no one in the dungeon anymore. I finally managed to break free of the dungeon shackles and run out, but outside… outside it was empty, not a single person. I had no idea what happened, so… so I could only head deeper into the Guardian Land, hoping to see if there were other Guardian Gods. But after all these years, I haven't met a single person. I… I really don't know what happened!"

"You're saying that from fifty years ago, the people of this Guardian Land disappeared?" Several of the Strongest all furrowed their brows. Could it be that something happened fifty years ago that made all those Guardian Gods slip away?

Fulin nodded straightforwardly, "Yes, I remember very clearly—it started fifty years ago!"

"What about the others in the dungeon?" The Eternal Divine Emperor asked, "A dungeon wouldn't hold only you, right?"

"Oh, no, of course not." Fulin immediately said, "There were many people locked in the dungeon, but I was the weakest among them. So I was the last one to break free of the dungeon shackles."

"When no one came to the dungeon anymore, the others also started breaking free of their shackles and leaving. When I finally came out, there were still over a dozen people outside. But their strength was way beyond mine. I… I didn't even dare get close. I could only choose a different direction from them and leave."

Su Yang gave Fulin a glance. This person was actually quite shrewd. Knowing that sharing a path with other stronger people was dangerous, he chose to walk his own road alone.

"What about the others?" Su Yang asked.

"They left via other routes. Some went deeper into the Guardian Land, some ran outward." Fulin said, "Everyone took different paths, so I don't know where they ended up."

The Supreme Dragon Emperor asked, "So you're saying there are still many people like you, moving around inside the Guardian Land?"

"Yes!" Fulin nodded.

The group exchanged glances, then all looked to Su Yang.

"Let's go look for them." Su Yang nodded.

The group immediately rose into the air and swiftly flew off in different directions.

If things were as Fulin said, they ought to find quite a few other Guardian Gods inside. Once they dragged those Guardian Gods back, they might be able to figure out what happened.

Su Yang and Fulin stood there, quietly waiting.

After about a month, the Demon Lord was the first to return. Beside him hovered a ball of black light, inside of which three people were trapped. The Demon Lord's face was full of excitement.

"Little Yang, I'd barely gone far before I found these three. That Fusen wasn't wrong at all—there really are other Guardian Gods still roaming around!" The Demon Lord laughed.

After landing, the Demon Lord waved his hand, and the black light immediately dissipated.

The three people inside the black light were all Guardian Gods. They all knelt on the ground, quivering so hard they couldn't speak.

Su Yang could feel that the strength of these three wasn't great either. The strongest one was at the Peak of Earth-level, and the other two were Advanced Earth-level.

They were stronger than Fusen, but without even stepping into the Heavenly Realm, how could they be considered strong?

Not long after, the others returned one after another, each with gains of their own.

Some had caught two people, some three, some five; the numbers they brought back were all different.

The last to return was the Supreme Dragon Emperor, who took three months to make it back.

And when this guy returned, everyone was dumbfounded.

Nobody knew where the Supreme Dragon Emperor had gotten a huge carriage. He'd enlarged his body and was sitting on the carriage, face full of smug pride.

In front of the carriage were strands of golden rope. The golden ropes were tied to over twenty Guardian Gods, all of whom were sprawled on the ground like Holy Beasts pulling a cart, dragging that carriage forward.
