Supreme Swordsman System

Chapter 7 - 07 - Not Bothering to Hide the System

They had just been talking normally, but now Iris’s killing intent suddenly became so obvious that even a newbie like King could easily notice it.

She raised her sword, her cold eyes staring straight at King’s left hand. Her intention to cut off his arm was not hidden in the slightest.

"What are you trying to do?"

King glared at her. So what if she had killing intent? What was there to be afraid of when it came from a character in a novel?

Even if he was about to be cut to death by her, King still dared to look at her like that. He could lose, but he absolutely could not be afraid. If he was afraid, how could he still call himself a reader?

"Whichever hand was groping me just now, I’ll cut it off."

"Why cut off your hand? My neck is right here. If you dare, then cut it."

King deliberately stretched his neck forward. If Iris could scare him, then from now on he would be her son instead of a lofty reader.

"You think I don’t dare?"

Iris swung her hand. The blade tore through the air and shot straight toward King’s neck, but after cutting through and drawing a little blood, she stopped.

King’s determined gaze did not change in the slightest. A reader’s pride would never submit to a minor character in a novel like her.

"You won’t become my disciple, so what are you planning to do? I’m the strongest person in the world in this era, after all."

King’s gaze successfully convinced her to stop testing him. Although she did not understand the reason for now, Iris understood that King truly looked down on her.

[Master is mighty!]

[How could a mere strongest cultivator among humanity possibly be worthy of being your master?]

[Your great reader’s awe-inspiring pride has successfully subdued her.]

The system in King’s head cheered enthusiastically. But of course, with it spouting such nonsense, it could not fool King.

King’s brain had not fallen out, so he would not think that Iris had been subdued by him. She simply knew that there was no way to make him submit.

"What’s so great about being the strongest cultivator? Give me a little more time, and I’ll leave you so far behind that you won’t even be able to see my shadow even if you squint."

Even though he was only a rank III cultivator, King was so shamelessly arrogant that Iris’s eyelids twitched. She raised the hilt of her sword and smacked him on the head, making him wince in pain.

"Wait until you surpass me before you say that. Right now, you’re nothing more than a mere rank III cultivator."

She still hit him, but she did not deny what King said. King’s existence had already gone beyond her understanding, so it was only natural that he would surpass her unless she killed him right here.

"Since you’re the strongest human in this world, you have enough qualifications to reluctantly stand on equal footing with me."

After thinking about it all this time, King finally chose to compromise. But the way he compromised was truly asking for a beating.

If Iris did not know that no matter how much she beat him, she could not change King’s thoughts, he would already be lying on a stretcher on his way to the hospital.

"You’re the first person to dare ask to be my friend after squeezing my breasts. And you’ll probably be the only one too, because from now on, if anyone plans to do something as shameless as you, I’ll cut off his hand before it happens."

The moment she brought this up, King’s fingertips suddenly curled slightly, as if he were remembering that feeling.

It would be one thing at another time, but doing that right in front of Iris now was no different from asking for a beating.

Iris once again used the hilt of her sword to smack King on the head. There were now two red marks on King’s head, looking extremely symmetrical.

"Don’t you dare talk nonsense like this to anyone. Otherwise, I’ll cut out your tongue."

"Oh, I’m so scared of you~"

"Here’s my tongue. Go ahead and cut it for me."

Even though he had just been hit hard enough to hurt like hell, King still stuck out his tongue in an extremely provocative manner. His thoughts had not changed at all. A mere little character in a novel could forget about ever scaring him.

Iris’s face turned red. Dealing with an arrogant, crazy, and shameless guy like this made her so furious that she felt like her lungs were about to explode.

"Hmph, don’t think I’ll let you get away with pushing your luck just because I’m not doing anything to you. You absolutely cannot tell anyone else about this."

Iris controlled her flying sword, making the two of them stand on it before flying back to the Cultivation Academy. King had just opened his mouth to say something when she immediately sped up, making it impossible for him to speak clearly.

Hmph, once I’m strong enough, I’ll definitely make you kneel and cry for mercy.

King secretly swore in his heart. He did not even realize that by now, he no longer saw Iris as a mere little character in a novel.

[Master doesn’t need to think too much. With the system here to help you, what does the strongest human count for?]

[She’s not even the protagonist of this world, so of course you’ll crush her under your feet soon.]

[When that time comes, if you tell her to go east, she absolutely won’t dare go west. She’ll only dare listen to whatever you say and won’t dare argue.]

The system kept flattering him in his mind, making King feel extremely pleased. He had already imagined that wonderful scene.

It’s just that he knew it would be very difficult to achieve because this had nothing to do with whether he was stronger than her or not.

They had not been in contact for long, but King realized that Iris was also the stubborn and arrogant type. Making her submit would be much harder than killing her.

"System, tell me more specifically about Iris."

King ordered the system to display Iris’s information while he stood right behind Iris. His completely unapologetic action made the veins on Iris’s forehead bulge.

"Are you fucking treating me like air? And what the hell is a system?"

While cursing, Iris glanced around. She was certain there should be no one or anything else around here.

"Something as lowly as you has no right to see the system. The system exists to serve me. So you have to serve me, understand?"

King had no idea where he learned such ’impressive’ logic, but it was very effective at driving other people crazy. With just a few words, Iris directly slapped him across the face.
