After Yu Zhiming finished his assessment, he, Yu Xiangwan, and Fu Xiaoxue, accompanied by Yin Wenzhu, went to Binhai Jiaotong University, a twenty-minute drive from Huashan Hospital.

Strolling through the picturesque university campus, Yin Wenzhu explained in a soft voice, "Binhai Jiaotong University is a comprehensive university."

"The reason it has ’Jiaotong’—which means ’transportation’—in its name isn’t because its programs are related to transportation. It’s because before the Liberation, it was directly under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport."

Hearing this, Fu Xiaoxue let out a long "Ohhh."

"It’s most famous for science, engineering, and medicine. Its medical school is one of the best in the country."

Yin Wenzhu then looked at Fu Xiaoxue and said, "Its liberal arts programs are only weaker in comparison; they’re still very strong."

"I’d recommend a major related to finance."

"Their graduates are highly regarded in the industry. I have several colleagues who graduated from here."

Fu Xiaoxue watched the students hurrying by on the paths and then glanced at the beautifully designed academic buildings in the distance, her face full of envy.

"Sister Wenzhu, it’s my dream to come here."

"But the minimum score required from my province is 650, and I estimate my score is only around 600."

"Sigh, there’s no hope at all."

Yu Zhiming chuckled teasingly, "It’s always when you need the points that you wish you had more."

"Xiaoxue, why did you have to slack off so much back then, huh?"

Fu Xiaoxue rolled her eyes and moved to Yu Xiangwan’s other side, making it clear she was putting some distance between herself and Yu Zhiming.

Yin Wenzhu smiled gently and said, "Xiaoxue, with your score, there’s still hope for you to study here."

"I know their School of Finance has a joint Sino-British program that has a separate admissions process."

Fu Xiaoxue’s eyes lit up as she asked, "Sister Wenzhu, does this joint program have any special requirements?"

Fu Xiaoxue exclaimed excitedly, "Sister Wenzhu, I meet both of those! My English is amazing, and I’m not afraid of speaking it at all."

As she spoke, she couldn’t help but glance at her uncle.

Just then, Yu Zhiming heard his phone ring. He pulled it out of his pocket and saw it was a call from Dr. Qi...

"Where are you?"

"Binhai Jiaotong University..."

Before Yu Zhiming could finish, he was interrupted. "Get to the hospital president’s office right now to sign the talent recruitment agreement."

He put his phone away and said with a wide grin, "Back to the hospital!"

Yu Zhiming, his sister, Xiaoxue, and Yin Wenzhu arrived at the President’s office in Huashan Hospital.

They saw President Li Yao, Dr. Qi, and the five expert evaluators, including Yuan Qi.

Yu Zhiming noticed they were looking at him strangely, like researchers studying a new and fascinating specimen.

He felt a little intimidated.

"You were blind until you were thirteen?"

"You regained your sight, studied for only two years, and successfully got into medical school?"

Yu Xiangwan confirmed, "I held his hand and walked him to and from school every day. We were even deskmates."

Yu Zhiming nodded. "One was at our county hospital, and the other was at Jinling Gulou Hospital."

Hearing this, Liu Dingyou and the others knew it was an undeniable fact.
