A single slash emitted a moonlight, white light flashed, yet Li Yifei still didn’t feel that he hit anything. There was no sense of resistance, similar to before, but different. As Li Yifei swung this slash, it seemed to cut through the entire space, plunging the surroundings into boundless darkness as if everything around had disappeared in the blink of an eye, coinciding with Li Yifei’s swing of the blade.

With a bang, he opened his eyes, and the surroundings fell into darkness, yet he could feel an object falling down, not large, seemingly only the size of a ping-pong ball. Li Yifei swiftly reached out to catch it, feeling it land in his palm, neither stone nor jade, with a chilling coolness. Before he could examine it, he heard someone calling him from behind: "Yifei, is that you?"

Li Yifei turned around to see Bunong quickly walking over, to which he replied, "Dad, it’s me, I’m fine."

"It’s good you’re fine. I waited for a long time, and there wasn’t a sound below, I got worried and couldn’t go down!" Bunong said, relieved.

Li Yifei nodded, holding the fallen object in his hand, contemplating what had just happened. He then noticed that the surroundings seemed a bit brighter. Li Yifei saw that their position was essentially a flat ground, with the opposite wall not far away; the deep chasm from before was nowhere to be seen.

It seems that place just now was a formation method, Li Yifei thought. Bunong also realized this and curiously asked, "What happened? Yifei, what did you encounter below? That necro-beast, did you kill it?"

"I didn’t kill it, there’s a reason!" Li Yifei hesitated for a moment since he felt that the slash perhaps still didn’t kill Qianqian or rather that Fire Sect master, who turned into the object in his hand. Stretching his hand out, Li Yifei saw the object in his palm—feather-like and jade-like—and recounted the previous events without reservation. Bunong, after hearing the tale, was repeatedly amazed, astounded. Apparently, his inherited memories also lacked any record of this. Fire Sect’s painstaking creation had failed.

"This thing... keep it with you for now, just be cautious at all times!" Bunong said uncertainly.

Li Yifei nodded, feeling the coolness penetrate his body with a trace of spirit qi seeping in, thinking that if the object could be understood and proved harmless, it would make for a fine ornament.

"To resolve it like this is definitely a good thing, a matter settled!" Bunong sighed. "Fire Sect researched for hundreds of years, and in the end, it was all for naught. It seems eternal life... is indeed unattainable."

Li Yifei didn’t quite agree. Bunong was just an ordinary person of the Miao Ethnic Group. Now, even having inherited Fire Sect’s legacy, he couldn’t compare to Li Yifei, who could live to a hundred and fifty years. That alone was life extension. After all, even the longest-lived ordinary people rarely see ninety, reaching a hundred is a heavenly blessing, and those very few reaching a hundred and ten is a world miracle.

Fire Sect’s failure or success wasn’t of interest to Li Yifei, but the howling necro-beast, which was the object below, was resolved, and that was crucial, as it posed no threat to the Miao Village anymore.

Li Yifei and Bunong lingered for a while before heading out. There were five passages, but they had only explored two. Standing in the basketball court-sized space, they decided to walk through the other three passages.

This took them around two hours, as the passages varied in length. One was over two kilometers long, with narrow areas difficult to traverse. After walking through, they discovered signs of past battles—a chaotic mess of weapons on the ground, with bones showing signs of wounds, many bones brutally chopped in half.

"This is the secret treasury!" Bunong remarked.

Li Yifei glanced around but had decided earlier not to delve into any secret treasury, and being uninterested, they both decided to head back.

Concealing the entrance, Bunong mentioned that he would eventually seal it permanently, and they returned to the Miao Village.

Aliza’s death overshadowed the villagers’ hearts with gloom, and even days later, there was little laughter. However, Aliza brought this upon himself, and no one else could be blamed. Although Na Yi was also disheartened, she accepted the reality.

Meanwhile, Li Yifei settled in his room, with the object on his palm. It appeared to be a bead. After returning, he got a clearer view. While not perfectly round, it seemed reminiscent of a human’s dantian!

After two days without understanding the bead, Li Yifei found that his mind couldn’t penetrate it, nor could his true qi enter. There was always a gentle force blocking him. After a few attempts, Li Yifei ceased his probing. Bunong had left it with him, not wanting it back, making him guess it was the necro-beast’s incarnation, suspecting his second blade didn’t kill the opponent.

The reason for his hesitation was that Li Yifei didn’t know what the situation with this thing was. Bunong could provide limited information, and he knew nothing about the bead. Li Yifei was worried it might suddenly emerge or change somehow... but for now, he could only keep it on him.

Na Yi walked in from outside, holding some fruit in her hands. After entering, she stuck out her tongue and said softly, "Here, I picked these for you just now. They’re really tasty."

"Did you eat some?" Li Yifei asked as he took the fruit, eyeing Na Yi’s fresh face. Suddenly, he leaned in and gave her a quick peck. Her skin was so tender, especially after spending more than a year with the Li family; it felt even softer, whiter, and more radiant.

With that peck, Na Yi’s cheeks flushed a deep red, even more tender-looking. She pursed her lips, softly muttered an "Mm," and said, "I ate a few just now. You should try them. I specifically picked them for you."

"They look pretty tasty," Li Yifei nodded, about to pop a fruit into his mouth, but paused, then said, "Honey, why don’t you feed your hubby one?"

"Ah?" Na Yi’s eyes widened, her already rosy cheeks turning even redder. She glanced at the doorway before looking back, hesitating, "What if someone comes in?"

"How could anyone come in? We’ve been here for days, and no one’s ever come," Li Yifei replied, looking expectantly at Na Yi. "If you feed me, I’ll eat it. If not, I won’t."

"Alright then!" Na Yi reached for a fruit, but Li Yifei dodged her hand, saying, "Not like that. If you were feeding with your hands, why bother going through the trouble?"

Na Yi had already guessed that Li Yifei wanted her to feed him by holding the juicy fruit in her mouth, so she hesitated a bit. Hearing Li Yifei’s words, she bit her lip, leaned down, picked up a fruit from Li Yifei’s open palm, and held it in her mouth, bringing it to Li Yifei’s lips.

Was eating the fruit the key point? Of course not. Tasting those inviting, tender red lips was key. The lip surface was soft, faintly scented, inducing saliva flow. It had a hint of fruit’s fresh aroma. It seemed that Na Yi indeed ate a few fruits earlier, as her mouth still had some juice residue, making Li Yifei’s appetite grow; he wanted to taste the remaining fruit juice from her mouth too.

After a long, pleasant kiss, Na Yi was slightly out of breath, already nestled in Li Yifei’s arms, sitting sideways. A big hand slipped under her ribs, covering her lower abdomen. Upon returning, Na Yi wore Miao ethnic attire; though somewhat intricate, it couldn’t prevent Li Yifei’s mischievous hand from intruding, lifting several layers to directly touch her belly.

"So fragrant, so delicious!" Li Yifei whispered close to Na Yi’s neck. Na Yi shrank her neck, feeling a rush of electric current through her body, moaning and then leaning shyly against Li Yifei’s chest, her body going soft, murmuring, "Naughty hubby, you... just know how to be bad."

"I’m not being bad. It was your fruit that was too good, so I couldn’t resist. Mm, those soft lips taste even better," Li Yifei said, licking his lips, eyeing Na Yi’s moist little mouth, and said with a mischievous grin, "I ate too fast earlier. Now I want more."

The door was still ajar, and Na Yi was a bit worried her father might suddenly burst in, but her husband asked for it, and she herself didn’t resist this way of feeding, quickly fulfilling Li Yifei’s request. Their lips met, entangled deeply, overlapping each other as Li Yifei’s playful hands roamed.

"No, don’t, hubby. It’s still daytime!" Na Yi suddenly grabbed Li Yifei’s mischievous hand, pressing it to her hip, her eyes showing deep shyness, but she shook her head vigorously, saying, "This is too embarrassing, please don’t?"

"Okay, but... I’m not done kissing. You dodging away isn’t nice," Li Yifei nodded, agreeing.

Na Yi licked her lips, wiping away the moisture, then leaned over again...

The whole morning, the two spent most of their time on this kind of game. Li Yifei wasn’t just letting Na Yi feed him; he would reciprocate, feeding Na Yi as well.

To some, this might seem quite revolting, but to deeply-in-love couples, some things cannot be judged by common sense. In their private space, the couple engaged in activities bringing mutual pleasure and joy, something beyond criticism from outsiders.

It’s just... Na Yi felt her lips had grown much thicker today. Though not painful, they were engorged, so during lunch, she kept her head down and stayed silent, which made Bunong think the two had an argument, repeatedly glancing at his daughter, making Na Yi’s shyness escalate with every look...
