Chapter 1442: Chapter 1432: A Clever Plan Emerges

With a swift move, Jiang Cheng grabbed the right arm of the thug with his hand, suddenly lifted it upward, and then kicked fiercely at the thug’s left leg. A crackling sound was heard, and the thug’s shoulder joint had been dislocated. The hall echoed with a scream of agony.

Seeing that the thug was now completely powerless, Jiang Cheng quickly tore a strip of fabric from his shirt and tied the thug securely in no time.

Then, he raised his hand to signal the team members standing nearby, who were stunned by his agile moves, to come over and take the thug back to the team for investigation.

The team captain approached Jiang Cheng, his eyes carrying a hint of admiration and gratitude. The captain shook his hand and said, "If it weren’t for your help, we would have certainly struggled with him for a long time today. Thank you, and may I ask your esteemed name? We will have a banner made and send it to your residence!"

Jiang Cheng gently smiled and shook his head, saying, "Don’t say that. Anyone who sees this situation would step forward to help. It’s just a small effort, nothing worth mentioning."

The captain wanted to say more, but Jiang Cheng declined with meaning, leaving the captain no choice but to lead the team back.

Xu Ying watched the departing figure of the captain and couldn’t help but ask, "Jiang Cheng, what were you thinking? You didn’t even take the banner!"

Jiang Cheng chuckled, "We must stay humble."

Xu Ying pretended to disdain, "Hm, little fellow, you just want me to expose you! You are probably afraid that if you take the banner, the next time you encounter such a situation, you won’t have today’s luck, and you’ll end up being beaten to a pulp!"

Though her words were full of disdain, her gaze toward Jiang Cheng was filled entirely with admiration, and she couldn’t help but see Jiang Cheng as a hero in her heart.

Suddenly, a child wearing a school uniform walked up to Jiang Cheng, shouting, "Wow, you’re the Superman uncle from last time!"

Jiang Cheng squatted down and said, "Don’t call me Superman brother. We must stay humble." The student smiled and said, "Oh, I know, you’re the humble Superman brother!"

Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but shake his head and said, "Little one, what brings you to me?" "Brother, I’m about to graduate. Can you come to my graduation ceremony?"

Seeing the child’s sincere expression, Jiang Cheng couldn’t bear to refuse, so he nodded.

The student ran excitedly toward his mom and dad, who were standing on the other side of the hall, his joy evident.

After watching his lively, youthful figure, Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but think of his past self.

Wasn’t he also so lively and happy before? Now the corners of his eyes were slightly moist, and a wave of emotion surged in his heart. Once the graduation ceremony had just ended, Jiang Cheng received a call to immediately return to the company to handle some affairs.

Faced with the student’s invitation to dinner, Jiang Cheng had to gently refuse and drove back to the company alone.

Jiang Cheng got into the car and habitually turned on the music station, and instantly, the rhythmical sound filled the entire workshop.

Many people have to consider whether they know the roads in a new place, but Jiang Cheng never worried about these issues.

How could others have a super brain?

As Jiang Cheng drove, he thought about the smiling faces of the students at the graduation ceremony, and his mood couldn’t help but improve.

That starry gaze is unique to children’s innocence, and that laughter like silver bells is exclusive to children’s brilliance.

Everything has the breath and vitality unique to youth. Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but recall himself from before, his past self was so innocent and full of vitality!

Suddenly, his gaze fixed on the road ahead; there was a truck driving straight at him, almost intentionally targeting him.

Then, he suspiciously checked the rear-view mirror, finding two trucks following him, with the truck in front continuously accelerating.

All the information converged in his mind, and Jiang Cheng thought and organized his thoughts in a moment of brilliance.

Malicious murder, car accident intent!

Jiang Cheng couldn’t have time to think about who was behind all this—enemies in the West District? Competitors? Or...

While he found himself at a loss, he recalled a scene from a past life watching a race, where two cars chased each other until the front car escaped.

At the time, the judge praised the cleverness and bravery of the front car, saying it was actually the terrain advantage, terrain!

Jiang Cheng immediately closed his eyes, and a complete map of the surrounding area appeared predictably in his mind.

Jiang Cheng decisively devised a plan—he must drive onto a mountain road two kilometers away, bypass the mountain road, then get onto the district road; this way he would ensure safety.

Suddenly, Jiang Cheng stomped on the accelerator; the car immediately sped forward, feeling like a Hollywood action movie scene.

Just as he was about to collide with the truck ahead, Jiang Cheng abruptly turned the steering wheel, his body tilting in the opposite direction of the car’s sideways motion.

In an instant, the truck behind also accelerated, attempting to clamp Jiang Cheng’s car in the middle, threatening to make Jiang Cheng crash disastrously.

Who would have thought? Jiang Cheng’s sudden turn made his own car flip sideways. Just as it was about to land, it was squeezed back by the approaching truck, just passing through between the two big trucks.

Jiang Cheng felt he could see sparks from both sides of the car and the overpowering smell of rubber friction.

After the car passed between the trucks, Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief, his gaze in the rear mirror showed a hint of irony.

Both trucks, due to their large mass and inertia, ended up in a ridiculous tangle, crashing into each other.

The two trucks collided and overturned!

Jiang Cheng skillfully drove toward the planned road, and when he was at ease, the nagging pain in his wrist made him check his body, his attention shifting to his wrist, noticing it was scraped and some unknown fragments were stuck inside.

He looked at the rear mirror, finding one of the previously trailing trucks had indeed followed him up.

Under these circumstances, he had no way to stop and tend to his wound, so he had to grit his teeth and continue the "chase race."

Suddenly, a "bang" was heard in Jiang Cheng’s ear, and he realized the car had a flat tire!

It seemed misfortune really comes uninvited!

Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but frown; relying on speed to escape was no longer an option, he had to find another way.

He remembered five meters ahead there was an emergency ramp, and immediately he came up with a plan.

Jiang Cheng accelerated abruptly, the car slightly tilted due to the flat tire, but he couldn’t care about that now.

Seeing the truck behind speeding, Jiang Cheng swiftly turned the steering wheel to the right, driving up onto the side emergency ramp.

The clueless truck continued driving straight, the driver evidently unaware of Jiang Cheng’s plan.

Jiang Cheng observed the truck had already driven far, disappearing from sight, allowing him to turn back onto the regular road, driving the car with a flat tire back to the company. Just after stopping the car, Jiang Cheng encountered colleagues at the company, who were shocked and immediately tended to Jiang Cheng’s wound and sent him to the hospital.

Jiang Cheng had just come out of the emergency room and was arranged to receive an IV drip in the inpatient building to prevent infection or tetanus.

With his left hand on an IV, but Jiang Cheng’s right hand wouldn’t stay still. As soon as the IV was set, he started operating the computer.

Though using one hand was slightly inconvenient, it didn’t affect Jiang Cheng’s speed in operating the computer at all.
