Chapter 1581 - 1555: Drama King

On the third day, the Eagle Heavenly King proposed convening a tribal elder council at the Divine Hall.

This meeting essentially involved representatives from each of the ten tribes sitting together to discuss issues. Whether a proposal was passed or not would ultimately be decided by each tribe's elders.

These were the ten tribes: the Netherworld Clan where Thanos Saint belonged, the Wuheng Clan which Wu Dai belonged to and Yang Xiao encountered on Witch Star, the Ancient Dragon Clan, the Beifeng Clan, the Blood Wolf Clan, the Gu Teng Clan, the Wind Eagle Clan, the Moke Clan, the Black Witch Clan, and the Flame Clan.

The Eagle Heavenly King was actually the elder of the Wind Eagle Clan, Lei Tianmo was the elder of the Moke Clan, North Heavenly Demon was the elder of the Beifeng Clan, and Du Tiandemon, far away on Witch Star, was the elder of the Flame Clan.

The four Heavenly Demons each came from different tribes.

Thanos Saint came from the Netherworld Clan.

Although all ten tribes revered Thanos Saint as their leader, he often secluded himself and rarely managed the affairs of Dwarf Star. Even when he wasn't in seclusion for cultivation, he spent most of his time on genetic evolution cultivation; daily affairs were truly managed by the four Heavenly Demons and the tribal elder council.

Consequently, a problem arose.

With only four Heavenly Demons, issues often occurred where two were in favor and two opposed, leaving everyone in stalemate, unable to reach a decision.

Thus, the four Heavenly Demons would convene a tribal elder council.

The tribal elder council only had ten voting rights, so it frequently encountered 5 to 5 situations.

Everyone found this incredibly frustrating.

Someone had once suggested adding another Heavenly King or another tribe elder.

This problem had been proposed for decades but remained unresolved, for a simple reason: the competition was too fierce.

The new Heavenly King had to come from one of the five remaining tribes, leading to continuous, contentious struggles over which tribe's elder would become the new Heavenly King.

Thanos Saint found it exasperating, saying, "Then stop choosing a new Heavenly King; consider adding a tribe council member instead."

Besides the current ten tribes, Dwarf Star had thousands of small tribes. Which tribe should be selected for the tribal elder council?

Everyone began to fiercely compete to support their affiliated tribes.

This matter dragged on indefinitely, remaining unresolved.

Upon hearing General Zhuo's report, the Eagle Heavenly King immediately had his own plans.

No suitable tribes had entered the tribal elder council because the remaining tribes were too small.

The establishment of the Central Continent Empire suddenly brought in a powerful empire with a population of fifty million on Dwarf Star, which wasn't a trivial matter.

If the Central Continent Empire joined the tribal elder council, it would make eleven members, preventing any 5 to 5 stalemates during discussions.

If Yang Xiao's nomination succeeded, he could become an ally of the Eagle Heavenly King.

The North Heavenly King glanced at the Eagle Heavenly King and said in a low voice:

"Eagle Heavenly King, have we gathered for this tribal elder council to discuss a major issue today?"

Typically, any elder from the ten tribes could propose a tribal elder council, but they usually communicated internally beforehand with the four Heavenly Kings, which was an unwritten rule.

This time, the Eagle Heavenly King did not communicate in advance with the North Heavenly King or Thunder King, but directly proposed a tribal elder council, causing some irritation in the North Heavenly King's mind.

The Thunder King also said lightly:

"Yes, Eagle Heavenly King, is there some urgent matter you encountered that you haven't brought up?"

The Eagle Heavenly King chuckled, saying:

"It's not exactly a particularly urgent matter, but I felt that it's still worth discussing in the tribal elder council, internal communication is good."

The Eagle Heavenly King naturally dared not appear too impatient; otherwise, surely the Thunder King and the North Heavenly King would team up to refute him. If these two opposed together, the matter likely wouldn't pass unless Thanos Saint personally decided.

"Here's the situation: as previously mentioned, the Central Continent has now been unified into a nation by someone named Yang Xiao. I recently sent General Zhuo Fei for an investigation, and now I'd like to report the intel to everyone, and hear your opinions."

The Eagle Heavenly King turned his head and called out to General Zhuo Fei in the tribal elder council's observation seats:

"General Zhuo, come over and recount the events to the elders."

General Zhuo Fei immediately rose and approached, briefly narrating his observations and experiences on the Central Continent.

As General Zhuo Fei spoke, he also took out a recording jade disc and played scenes he had seen in various cities of the Central Continent Empire.

When the virtual three-dimensional image displayed massive banners and slogans supporting the Divine Hall and Thanos Saint, the ten elders present were dumbfounded.

Wow, are the people of the Central Continent Empire really this passionate?

Even the atmosphere in the Divine City wasn't so intensely enthusiastic!

The elders were amazed to see that such fervent support for the Divine Hall was present in more than a dozen cities, each full of surprise.

This isn't what the Abandoned Continent of the Central Continent should be; this is more intense than the Divine City itself!

"Well, everyone, have you been moved by the enthusiasm of the Central Continent people?

Honestly, I've been truly moved by it; what wonderful people! Their passion for the Divine Hall and love for Thanos Saint as the Great Chief deserves admiration from all of us and from everyone on Dwarf Star.

Look, even in the Divine City, you don't see people with such intense passion."

The North Heavenly Demon said lightly:

"Eagle Heavenly Demon, just tell us what's on your mind, don't waste everyone's time."

The Eagle Heavenly Demon smiled slightly and nodded to General Zhuo Fei.

General Zhuo Fei immediately took out a second recording jade disc.

Then, another scene appeared in the meeting room.

At the Central Continent Wenti City Square, Yang Xiao led one hundred thousand citizens in kneeling before the statue of Thanos Saint, chanting:

"We pay homage to Thanos Saint as the leader!"

Seconds later, the scene shifted, and the hundred thousand citizens in the square kneeled again, rising to shout:

"Divine Hall, we love you,

Thanos Saint, we love you,

We are the people of the Central Continent Empire and also subjects of the Divine Hall,

We strongly wish to return under the aegis of the Divine Hall, to contribute our humble efforts for the Divine Hall, for Thanos Saint, for Dwarf Star!"

"Divine Hall, please take in your wandering subjects!"

...

The scene was heroic and deeply moving.

The hall of the tribal elder council fell silent.

The Eagle Heavenly Demon wiped his moist eyes, sighed deeply, and said:

"The fifty million subjects of the Central Continent have been excluded from the Divine Hall's subjects for too long, and that's not appropriate.

As humans, who hasn't made mistakes?

If they make mistakes, they can change, right?

For their past mistakes, they were exiled to the Central Continent and their descendants were permanently exiled there too, preventing them from rejoining the Divine Hall's subjects.

Is that appropriate?

It's not appropriate!"

General Zhuo Fei stared at the Eagle Heavenly King, internally shocked.

Darn, the Eagle Heavenly King is truly a master actor!
